A violent altercation between two foreign tourists escalated into a stabbing at Pattaya Park Market in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi. Lieutenant Colonel Sanan Kotanon, Deputy Investigation Inspector of Pattaya City Police Station (Dongtan Substation), received the report around 00:35 on November 6 and dispatched investigators and rescue personnel from Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Thammasathan to the scene. According to eyewitness accounts, a Russian tourist, identified as Miss Spiridonova (identity unconfirmed), aged 45-50, was enjoying an evening with friends when a dispute with another Russian man turned violent. Witnesses described seeing the man, who wore a white sleeveless shirt and shorts, initially approach the group in a seemingly friendly manner, only for a verbal confrontation to erupt. The suspect left temporarily, returning about ten minutes later. Upon his return, Spiridonova confronted him, pulling his hair. The situation escalated rapidly as the man produced a knife and stabbed her multiple times. Spiridonova collapsed to the ground, covered in blood, with two deep stab wounds on her left side and severe injuries to her left arm. Rescue personnel performed first aid before rushing her to a nearby hospital. Mr. Ki, 33, an eyewitness, attempted to intervene by wrestling the knife away from the suspect. In the ensuing chaos, the suspect managed to flee the scene. Investigators later found a trail of blood and a 30-centimetre knife, which was collected as evidence. Other witnesses reported seeing Spiridonova and her friends enjoying their evening before the suspect arrived with a visibly hostile expression. Though a male companion in the group tried to defuse the situation, both parties became engaged in a physical struggle, which ended with Spiridonova being severely injured. Friends of the victim revealed that the suspect appeared to be jealous, as the victim was his estranged wife. They urged authorities to apprehend him promptly, fearing he might attempt to flee the country. Lieutenant Colonel Sanan Kotanon, now overseeing the investigation, has documented the scene and is coordinating with a search team to locate the suspect. Surveillance footage from the area and along possible escape routes is under review as police continue their investigation to bring the perpetrator to justice. Picture from responders. -- 2024-11-06

The incident took place at the entrance of Soi 13/4 on Pattaya Beach Road, where authorities found two groups of Uzbek women engaged in a heated dispute, drawing the attention of tourists and local bystanders. Police quickly intervened, discovering that both sides had sustained minor injuries. The individuals involved were taken to Pattaya City Police Station for further questioning. Nearly a month has passed since a fatal car crash involving a luxury Maserati driven by a Russian national. The crash took place on October 8 in the Pa Siricharoenwat Forest area of Na Jomtien, Sattahip District, Chonburi. The accident claimed the life of a young Thai technical school student and left his friend critically injured. The lack of progress in the investigation and suspicions of irregularities have raised concerns among the victims’ families. On the evening of October 8, around 19:00, a Russian driver, behind the wheel of a black Maserati, allegedly collided with two Thai students on a motorcycle. The impact killed one of the young men instantly and left the other seriously injured, requiring a two-week stay in intensive care. Witnesses reported that they heard two loud crashes: the first when the car’s tyre reportedly burst, causing it to skid, and the second when it struck the students’ motorcycle. Ms. Kanokwan, the aunt of the deceased, shared her doubts about the official explanation, which alleges that her nephew was driving against traffic. She maintains that her nephew was riding within his lane and had intended to take the main road back to Ban Chang, Rayong. Furthermore, she asserted that tyre marks and other evidence suggest that the Maserati crossed into the wrong lane, causing the crash. The victims’ families have voiced frustrations with the handling of the case. Ms. Kanokwan explained that police have largely disregarded her account and insisted on their initial findings. She even visited the crash site to confirm that the road layout and skid marks did not align with the claim that her nephew was at fault. Ms. Dokkatip, mother of the surviving student, said her son sustained severe injuries, including brain swelling and fractures to both hips. She also questioned why the Russian driver was not detained despite lacking essential documents, such as a license plate, car registration, and an international driver’s license. According to Ms. Dokkatip, the driver’s representative visited her in the hospital and offered financial assistance but avoided providing the necessary insurance documentation, which the family sought to cover medical costs. She expressed frustration, stating, “If they have insurance, why can’t they provide the documents to support my son’s care? Ms. Angkanarat, the mother of the deceased, noted the lack of communication and transparency from the police. She recently visited the local police station, hoping to meet with the investigator, only to find him present despite previously claiming to be out of town. She has since raised concerns about the vehicle’s legality, as it bore no license plate, and the driver lacked proper documentation. The survivor, 17-year-old “Guide,” described the incident to reporters. He recalls seeing headlights suddenly appear in a curve before losing consciousness. He later woke up in the ICU and only learned of his friend’s death from a nurse. Guide stated that they had been riding cautiously due to the rain and stayed in their lane. In response, Police Colonel Wattanachai Sangrit, the officer in charge of the Na Jomtien precinct, assured that the investigation is ongoing. He stated that the delay in filing charges is due to pending forensic reports, aiming to clarify all aspects of the case. Despite these reassurances, the families have called upon the police to expedite the investigation and seek assistance from higher authorities to ensure justice is served. A two-story wooden house in Soi Charoen Krung 99, Branch 10, Bang Kho Laem district, Bangkok, collapsed early morning on November 6, trapping its 64-year-old resident. The building, weakened by years of termite damage, ultimately gave way despite hving previous warnings from local authorities. At approximately 00:50, Pol. Lt. Suchat Changtham, an investigator from Wat Phraya Krai Police Station, received an emergency call reporting the collapse. Rescue teams from the Bangkok Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Ruamkatanyu Foundation, and medical staff from Charoen Krung Pracharak Hospital rushed to the scene to assist. Upon arrival, rescue workers found the two-story structure had completely crumbled within a narrow alley, with debris trapping the resident, Ms. Prakhong beneath a section of the roof. Ms. Prakhong, a retired Ministry of Interior employee, was heard calling for help, pinned by roofing tiles. Rescue teams worked carefully for around 45 minutes, eventually freeing her with only minor shoulder abrasions. Ms. Prakhong described the moments leading up to the collapse, recounting a series of creaking sounds as she lay alone in her second-floor room. Although the noises raised concern, she had not anticipated the building would collapse. She said she believed holding tightly to a protective amulet of King Rama V contributed to her survival. The house, which Ms. Prakhong and her family had lived in for over 55 years, had sustained extensive termite damage, which caused it to lean significantly prior to the incident. Neighbours confirmed that the structure had tilted by as much as 45 degrees, with termites visibly compromising the foundation. Bang Kho Laem district officials had previously advised Ms. Prakhong to demolish the house, citing safety risks, but she had resisted their warnings. Following the incident, Ms. Prakhong urged authorities to secure the site, as valuable possessions remain within the debris. Neighbours expressed similar concerns, noting the prolonged termite infestation that made the structure increasingly dangerous. Local authorities are now investigating the collapse and working to prevent similar incidents in nearby aging structures. Pictures and video from responders. -- 2024-11-06 My Movie.mp4

A call to move a parked car led to a shocking discovery of two bodies in a Rayong home, prompting police to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths. On the evening of November 5, Police Lieutenant Colonel Nitithorn Trapiwaradej, Deputy Investigator of the Pluak Daeng Police Station, received a report of gunshot hole found in the window of a residence in Mab Yang Phon, Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province. Authorities quickly arrived on the scene to investigate. Upon arrival, officers found two pickup trucks parked outside the house. After contacting the homeowner to gain entry, they discovered a tragic scene: two deceased individuals in an inner room. The victims were identified as Ms. Patcharin, 30, from Nong Khai Province, and Mr. Sittirat, 32. Ms. Patcharin was found on a bed with a gunshot wound to her head, while Mr. Sittirat lay dead near a clothes-drying rack with a similar head wound. A 9mm handgun was found near Mr. Sittirat, and it is believed the two had been dead for approximately three days. A neighbour, identified only as Mr. Art, stated that he had planned to ask the occupants to move their car but received no response. Upon noticing the bullet hole in the window, he immediately contacted the homeowner, who alerted the police. The property owner, Mr. Phanupong, 37, said that Ms. Patcharin had only recently rented the property in October. He had been informed by the housing project’s management that a vehicle was blocking access, so he went to check and collect the rent. Upon seeing the gunshot hole, he refrained from entering and called the police. Forensic officers have collected evidence from the scene, and local police are interviewing witnesses as they work to determine the cause of death in this tragic case. Secret Club Raid in Bangkok Uncovers Drug Fuelled Party on Third Floor Bangkok police conducted a raid on an illicit club in Huai Khwang, exposing a hidden third-floor nightclub filled with light, sound, and revelry, and detaining 26 Chinese nationals involved in a drug party. Bangkok police conducted a raid on an illicit club in Huai Khwang, exposing a hidden third-floor nightclub filled with light, sound, and revelry, and detaining 26 Chinese nationals involved in a drug party. The raid, led by Police Colonel Prasopchok Iampinit, Chief of Huai Khwang Police Station, with support from the Child and Women Protection Sub-Division, targeted a five-story commercial building in Soi Pracharat Bamphen 4, Din Daeng District. The authorities detained Mr. Sakorn (last name withheld), a 25-year-old from Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai Province, who was allegedly managing the venue. The police launched the operation following a tip-off about a clandestine entertainment venue operating without a license. Upon arrival, officers found the first and second floors under renovation, seemingly to avoid suspicion. However, on reaching the third floor, they discovered two fully furnished rooms equipped with lighting and sound systems, where 26 Chinese patrons, split between two rooms (seven in one room and nineteen in the other), were eating, drinking, and socialising. A search of the premises uncovered drug paraphernalia in the first room and a bag near the second room containing four zip-lock bags filled with a crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Mr. Sakorn, who identified himself as the building manager, was taken into custody. During questioning, Mr. Sakorn admitted that while the building was being renovated as a karaoke bar, he had secretly allowed customers to use the space due to demand, charging 20,000 baht per room. Authorities found that the venue lacked proper licensing to operate as a club and was illegally selling alcohol past legal hours. Police have charged Mr. Sakorn with operating an unlicensed entertainment venue, permitting illegal drug use, and selling alcohol beyond the permitted hours under the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act. The arrested individuals, along with seized items, were taken to Huai Khwang Police Station for processing. All patrons and staff members were also sent to the Police Hospital for drug testing as investigations continue. Picture courtesy of police. -- 2024-11-06

In a shocking incident at the parking lot of Samakkhi Pracharam Temple in Bang Lamung, Chonburi, a 57-year-old woman, known as "Je Porn," reportedly lost her temper with her boyfriend, leading to an unexpected act of violence. According to local rescue services, the altercation resulted in Je Porn using her pickup truck to ram into her boyfriend, leaving him injured. Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit in Pattaya received a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at the temple's parking area. The victim, identified as Mr. Anulak Duangsa, 42, was found sitting on the ground, heavily intoxicated, with injuries to his head and right hand. After being given initial medical care by rescuers and a monk at the scene, he was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Eyewitnesses, including parking attendants, reported that the couple had been arguing before the incident. Je Porn allegedly got into her Isuzu pickup truck and, moments later, accelerated, striking Mr. Anulak with enough force to knock him to the ground. When questioned by authorities, Je Porn revealed that she had been in a relationship with Mr. Anulak for four years. She expressed frustration with his frequent drinking and claimed that, despite their occasional disputes, she felt pushed to extreme anger on this particular day after Mr. Anulak refused to go home with her. Fueled by her own intoxicated state, she admitted she was so enraged that she "wanted to teach him a lesson," eventually escalating to the point of driving her vehicle toward him in a fit of anger. CCTV footage from the parking lot confirmed the sequence of events, showing the couple arguing, before Je Porn got into her truck. Shortly afterward, she accelerated towards Mr. Anulak, resulting in the injuries he sustained. Following the incident, officers from the Nong Prue Police Station took Je Porn into custody and transported her to the police station for a breathalyser test. Authorities are currently proceeding with legal action. Picture captured from CCTV. -- 2024-11-06

A tragic discovery was made on the afternoon of November 5, when the body of an infant was found in a trash bin at a condominium in Bo Win, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. The discovery was reported to authorities at 14:20 by a waste collector, prompting an investigation by Lieutenant Thatchakorn Naranantha and a team of officers from Bo Win Police Station, alongside members of the Phiao Yiang Tai Foundation. At the scene, officials found the remains of a male infant, estimated to have been born around 6 months into the mothers pregnancy, in a black trash bag at the condominium’s waste disposal area. The umbilical cord was still attached, and preliminary assessments suggest the infant had been deceased for at about 10 hours. The waste collector who discovered the infant reported that he was sorting through the trash when he opened the black bag and found the baby’s body, wrapped in blue-and-white cloth. The infant’s head, legs, and feet were partially visible, prompting the worker to call over a colleague to confirm the distressing discovery. Investigators are now working to gather additional information from CCTV, possible witnesses and other residents. The infant’s body has been sent for autopsy and identification in hopes of tracing those responsible for abandoning the child. Picture from responders. -- 2024-11-06
