I'm not op but I wouldn't want a bridge. Only resort if I simply didn't have the money. Even my 90 yo mother got implants rather than partial denture. They suck and extra negative of must make you feel old af.
I'd recommend not getting riot canal but go straight to implant. Odds of RC going bad over lifetime are pretty good. Implant is forever. I had great dental care. My tooth apparently is fractured, brittle from the RC.
I'm looking in Bangkok. The best places are sky high. The costs are out of line and I wonder if I'm getting farang pricing. I could have the wife call but in the end I am a farang and will pay that price anyway and regardless.
I'd heard or read about some doctor in Bang Saen or somewhere in between BKK and Pattaya some years back. Anyone??
Yes, it's already happening. Thailand has not had a good economy since perhaps 2005.
I just noticed today how prices at Big C jumped yet again.
Luxury products especially cosmetics are being fire-saled. Fancy consumables. I see restaurants and shops closing left and right with many standing vacant central Bangkok. I bet provs really hurting.
Hence, all the red shirt spending programs as well.
GDP growth only 2.5 next year. That's absolutely miserable for a developing economy. In a good year the United States can see at least that and more.
Haha, this was my life 2002 - 2010. You can get hassled anywhere, but I'd probably agree you'll fare better overland. I was never denied but some expensive, convoluted runners like Bali, etc. Tiny boarder xings in Cambodia
I really like Krungsri. Very little wait. I had a UOB account almost 10 years ago, but I closed it as they had so few branches even in central Bangkok. Bangkok indifferent, SCB was the go-to for 20 yrs. Not keen anymore. K bank, Krungthai a big nope for me. KT is a must for government workers. Both are probably essential banks in the provinces of no idea anymore.
Like airlines.
From all the accounts I have opened over about 25 years - residence was a mere formality scrawled on the application.
O visa, marriage. I did use a wp in most cases rather than bicker over the legal need.
In the end it's just one of those case by case basis situations. I don't think residents or addresses are important to the bank they know everyone shuffle around all over the place and this transient country.
