Phuket's Foreign Outburst: Drunk Man Chases Thai Resident

A drunk falls down and it is NEWS??? -
First off, it is roulette, not solitaire. Secondly, you put the gun up to your temple, not your forehead. I think this guy had his suicide already planned and he just wanted a witness. I am very suprised he survived a 38cal to the forehead. He should have used hollow points. FYI it is not usually the brain damage that kills you. It is the blood loss, so if it does not hit and major arterys you could survive like this Meat Head did. (no pun intended).

British Man's Urgent Plea to Save Dying Father in Thailand

You may be right Lou. But we are both just speculating. IMHO I would not worry about moving him back to the UK until he is in a urn. Must cheaper... And your not going to find better medical care in the UK than here. That's for sure. -

I suppose I could have left the veteran part out but I could have also tacked "disabled" onto that. I guess I am just proud of my military service. But you just had to pick apart every word to negate my comment? Your a real Scouser aint ya? I can't speak for him but I have flown on EVA Air, JAL and Cathay Pacific using a travel medical assistant without a hitch. Air ambulances cost anywhere from $15,000 to over $60,000 per flight, depending on several factors. Some of these factors include the distance to be covered, aircraft type, flight duration, and the amount of medical equipment required. Air ambulance flights are typically reserved for patients who require intensive medical intervention during air transportation, like life support and mechanical ventilation, and IMHO I dont believe he requires this. On the other hand, commercial air medical escort cost between $7,000 and $12,000 approx. per flight. They are for those who require slightly less medical support than air ambulance patients and are typically flown by registered nurses and doctors, providing continuous medical care and support, including administering medication and monitoring vital signs. -

British Man's Urgent Plea to Save Dying Father in Thailand
Baba Naba replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
I would beg to differ. I am a wheelchair bound Veteran with many medical problems (liver transplant, heart disease, diabetes and more) but I have flown commercial several times using a Commercial Medical Escort with no problem and it is a fraction on the cost of a medevac/air ambulance. https://www.medical-repatriation.uk/repatriation-services/blog/5-things-you-have-to-know-about-our-commercial-medical-escort-service_9805.html -

I am am a wheelchair bound Veteran with multiple health problems including a liver transplant, diabetes and heart disease and I fly with a assistant all the time. A 13 hour flight to London should not be a problem. He isnt hooked up to any machines and even if he had a IV drip on him, which he does not, would not be a problem. Yes, you can fly with an IV drip, but it requires careful planning and approval from the airline. Most airlines allow it if medically necessary, but passengers must provide documentation and meet safety requirements. -

Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside
Baba Naba replied to CharlieH's topic in Thailand News
I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand which was 600 miles from the epicenter. Bangkok was 870 miles away. My house shook violently and swayed dramatically as my car rocked back and forth in the carport. After going through many tremors and quakes on the Adak, Alaska in the Aleutian chain where our island was surrounded by 3 active volcanos, this one actually scared me. I knew it had to have been at least a 7. Luckily nothing cracked and the house held up well although my pool looked like an angry sea! π± -
