  1. Probably thinking with another part of his anatomy, as opposed to his brain.
  2. It is for Thailand. I've used that train before, it's like a typical commuter train in Europe. Perfectly okay, especially as it's safer than the road and around £8 / 9 Euro for that journey. A price that the folks in western Europe can only dream of.
  3. He could hire Johnston Chong See-tun to help? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blind_Detective
  4. Agreed. Let's hope the vultures (lawyers) are stopped from wasting court time on this. Maybe they can put their energy into pushing cases where the best person for the job didn't get it due to nepotism.
  5. I never did that. But I have this time just for the hell of it. 🤭 Will be good to see how this action against DEI this plays out, I hope it works exactly as Trump intends.
  6. Apologies for this massive assumption, but assuming all of the jobs paid about the same as the lower end on this NHS pay scale, that's over £300 billion. Per year. If a lot of these jobs are in the NHS then that's a lot of extra nurse, doctors and additional beds. Or, another big issue in the UK is the lack of social care that means beds get blocked by patients who could leave hospital if they could get a bit of extra help. Really brings one of the reasons for the NHS mess into focus.
  7. Agreed. He's been voted in following the long-used electoral system. Love him or not he's here for the next 4 years, hope everyone enjoys the ride! Well, Stormy might not... 🤪
  8. Not being 100% sure I did a quick google and the screen cap is what I learnt.
  9. Maybe, maybe not. But almost certainly able to crawl if not walk. Looking at the bucket's location, and if that's where it was when he fell in, then crawling and over-balancing into the bucket seems possible.
  10. They were probably at relative ease as they knew the market vendor would be keeping an eye on her?
  11. Well done to the market vendor. I guess if the man was known to the family then their review of the CCTV or the knowledge of the market vendor would have highlighted that. The fact that the guy legged it when he knew he'd been rumbled is a give away. Nothing certain of course, as none of us on this forum has all the facts, but there's enough info in the story for this to be highly probable in my opinion.
  12. I guess if the case had gone ahead then NGN may well have been found to have carried out these unlawful activities. But they've admitted it so no need for the case. I'm glad that Harry will get some money; he's had to go through everything that NGN did and has had to deal with their lies and denials. I don't care how he or Meghan spends it, none of my business. It would be great if Murdoch and everyone else involved in NGN's lies got financially ruined and thrown in jail. But as so many politicians get away with such lies and denials, as well as corruption I doubt this will happen.
  13. King Charles Privately Congratulates Donald Trump, Praises UK-US ‘Special Relationship’ Not exactly private if it's being announced in the NYP. It'll be into the Tower of London for whoever leaked that! 😆
  14. I got absolutely no issue with Trump's actions against Mexico to stop/reduce illegal drugs importation, but how come he pardoned Ross Ulbricht? I get Trump's comment "The scum that worked to convict him were some of the same lunatics who were involved in the modern day weaponization of government against me". But Ulbricht was still peddling misery to thousands of communities. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz7e0jve875o Anyone any insight?

  15. No, not correct. I've no idea how you got to that assertion, but it doesn't matter. The family can see it. For sure. And, according to the OP, the changed behaviour when she was off the meds was obvious. Even hiding/flushing the pills to make it seem like they are being taken, the behavioural change can still be seen easily, and then it's easy to talk to a doctor or the police. The doctor can visit and see for themselves. Or the police. Not easy/practical if living separately of course, but that is not the case here according to the OP. It seems that previously heads got buried in the sand when she was off the meds, or they though they could manage it themselves, and the family has paid for those mistakes dearly. A very sad but wholly avoidable case.
  16. These bits will already on another building site and installed.
  17. If she's on her meds then she should be okay? She should be okay to teach or carry out another job. The issue is her going off her meds and how that was allowed to happen by her family or doctor. Maybe her husband was going to dob her in, hence the attack. No idea. But I know that (normally) people with mental health issues who are on their meds can normally perform reasonably well.
  18. Well, UK politics has been fairly predictable in recent years. - Promise - break promise. - Get caught - lie/deny. - Party X says something entirely sensible - Party Y says it isn't. - Issue needs to be resolved? Bury head in sand or give a contract to a mate. - Your mate has got caught with their pants down? Cover it up (politically not literally 😆). - The 'wrong' ethnic minority rapes children with impunity? Do nothing. - Set targets. Don't meet them. - Wife avoiding a lot of tax? Do nothing about it. - Need a new wardrobe? Get a mate to 'donate' it. I could go on obviously.
  19. Wow. I really hope they catch who did this and send them to jail. If this an MP who did this then candidate selection processes need a really good looking at!
  20. If they love Palestine that much why not deport them to there?
  21. Couldn't the Conservatives have done this too? They were in power for quite a long time. And the Liberals? Were they not quiet on this topic in the last few years? I got no problem blaming Labour, but it ain't just them.
