  1. Yeah, good point. IATA has some guidance (https://www.iata.org/contentassets/05e6d8742b0047259bf3a700bc9d42b9/lithium-battery-guidance-document.pdf) and so does UPS for shipping separately. Basically none as cargo on a passenger plane. For a previous job I had to install some big battery supported power supplies. Shipping of the batteries was a pain, but ultimately there's a process, we followed it and the batteries arrived. They had to come by sea, so a long lead time.
  2. I can't see the point in the Philippines paying tax money to keep this scum alive. That said, perhaps he can be kept in a part of his prison where the other inmates need fresh meat?
  3. Seems like a sensible and measured response.
  4. Not funny at all of course. But I still laughed at this, thinking that the general driving standards has just gone up a notch. It is good to see the Viet police enforcing the traffic laws though, but am unsure if such enforcement is widespread? Enforcement in Thailand is generally thought to be lax. Anyone have an opinion on this?
  5. A great initiative, a big 'thank you' to Japan. There are still far too many wars in the world just now, whether they use munitions or trade restrictions. Few of the world's leaders are learning it seems.
  6. I don’t agree. I suspect it is 99% with government evidence available to prove this. I wonder what the figure would be without the β€˜no fail’ policy though. πŸ€ͺ
  7. I'd have thought this was obvious. It's all the discarded inflatables that have brought "asylum seekers" across the Channel.
  8. Looks like a legit reason to extradite him, even if it is for a 2nd time for the same offence. What must the victim's families be thinking; the person proven to have committed the crime walking free?
  9. What's the design life for this work that is in the contract, that the Bangkok government will enforce if there are any issues? Warranty? I'll get my coat...
  10. Thought the UK did Brexit a few years ago. Why is this a story? Not blaming AN of course... Where is the British response showing what the Brits have as alternates to F35 and patriot? Ahem... πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  11. We know what part of the budget went into an envelope then...
  12. A bit of a farce releasing anything so redacted, I guess that's as likely to cause "harm in the form of harassment" as releasing it unredacted as there must be something in there to cause "harm in the form of harassment".
  13. What a waste of time and money. About as needed as semitism or catholicism definitions.
  14. Great, a traffic law finally being enforced. I bet he'll be more careful next time, positive news. Next, on to the thousands of other traffic law violations per hour. A few more folks might live a bit longer if this great example is followed everywhere else, 100% of the time.
  15. I go no objection to his casting call. His choice. People don't have to go. I hope nobody does.
  16. Wonder how many people who live there have done so since the opening hours were shorter? Wonder how many moved since, then think it's okay to moan? Incredible.
  17. I can't understand why this site isn't blocked. Madness.
  18. A good news story about a Russian guy? Surely not!! 😱😜 And of course Meen.
  19. A bit too left wing for me... πŸ˜†πŸ€ͺ
