    I left last year. Heavy taxes were not the reason. Heavy women with bad attitudes and the depressing weather were the main reasons. Thailand gives me a better lifestyle in nearly every way

No but I was at an after party with many of the festival goers where drugs were quite openly being used. it was quite surprising to me at first, but there were quite a few wealthy Thais there so I assumed that there was some sort arrangement. only poor people go to jail in Thailand. You should have been there Ralf, you would have loved it. You missed out again.

    Every little bit helps. But people, especially old people, are reluctant to change and are easily offended and can take it personally.

    You need to get out more, plenty of Asians and Arabs go to these events and indulge just the same as everyone else. There were piles of powders and pills being passed around on the weekend.

    Yes misspelling. listening is the hardest by a mile. i probably read as good as a 6 year old. I often don’t know what the words I am reading mean. I struggle with newspaper reports. I have found continual revision to be the best way, although it can be boring. panthip is quite interesting and easier to follow.

    Ditched the marriage idea. Living in the UK she was a reasonable catch. But living in Thailand I realized I could do much better. Reading, writing and speaking going quite good. Problem is listening. ฟันไม่ทัน It is a bit frustrating. Conversation ok, but can’t keep up with TV etc. How about yourself?
