Car recommendations
Since you bring up the EOL impact on resale, I have another question, which you may be able to answer. In those EV threads, I always notice the fanboys bragging about the lifetime warranty on their batteries, which the manufacturers have increased from several year to lifetime. I know for a fact that lifetime warranty on other things, like for example PC RAM, ends when the manufacturer discontinues that particular model. Do you think same logic applies to EV batteries, because with the quick changes of EV models, lifetime could actually have a very short span?

Empty my pool
Not sure something was lost in translation, but where you got the impression I'm going to fill it? I consider emptying it, and leaving it empty indefinitely. Firstly I planned to fill it with soil and make a flower bed of it, but friends advised against that, since it would render the pool unrecoverable if I ever decide to sell the house. I don't recall if there was water after we dug the hole, but I think not. The info about the borehole pump, which hangs at a 35 meter depth and runs dry after 10 minutes, as I presume that is an indication that the groundwater table is very low. The pump is on an automatic timer, which runs it for 10 minute cycles every 30 minutes, to prevent it running dry. The borehole feeds my inground storage tanks, not the pool directly.

When Do The Thai Banks Set The ATM Exchange Rate For The Day?
I don't think there is a set time for the exchange rate. Yes they will set the first exchange rate for the day at 9.30am. After that, if there is little trading it may remain unchanged until the next day, if there is heavy trading it may change many times during the day. I recall to have seen more than 9 changes in a single day on the Kasikorn website during heavy trading days

Empty my pool
I have a 6 x 11 meter inground pool, and I consider emptying it, because it is more a burden than it is an enjoyment. The house with pool was built 15 years ago, but I very rarely use it, and I'm single. At the same time it has to be maintained, and it actually prevents me from traveling for an extended period of time, because of that. So I consider from emptying it and covering. I have read on the internet about pools that get lifted out of the ground, or get cracks in the floor, because of the groundwater. My pool is tiled concrete. What are the risks here, considering I live in a flood free area. I have a 35 meter deep bore, and I have to put a timer on it, otherwise the pump runs dry after 10 minutes.

Israelis in Thailand on Alert After Security Warning
My point being, terrorists don't give a damn about how many Mosques are in the vicinity when they plan an attack. All they care about is killing as many people as possible, preferably the least of their own religion.

In Manchester are 16 Mosques, yet they bombed the Arena.

Israelis in Thailand on Alert After Security Warning
You obviously are not in that category My reply was to this post, which gave the indication that the Full moon party was safe from terrorists because many nationalities gathering there. https://aseannow.com/topic/1343402-israelis-in-thailand-on-alert-after-security-warning/?do=findComment&comment=19378679 I contradicted that, pointing out that not many Muslims will be at the event, so Muslim terrorists would not hesitate to attack. Of course, to understand the meaning of my comment, something more than a 2 digit IQ is required, which is obviously not a given for you going by the few other pedantic posts from you in this thread.

Israelis in Thailand on Alert After Security Warning
I wonder why you want to quote my post, and deflect from the point I was making. Since you don't seem to be the brightest light in the garden shed. there will not be many Muslims on the Full Moon party, and neither are there in Bali, which is 87% Hindu

Thai Electric Cables Mostly Fail Global Safety Standards
Could that be because all of those companies are foreign owned and run?

Thai Electric Cables Mostly Fail Global Safety Standards
I would be interested to know the name of those 20 brands, and if they are Thai or foreign. Yeah, we all know that revoking their license will sort it. NOT.

RCCB tripped
Nope I removed the lights on the perimeter wall, but never disconnected the switch. And there are 9 switches next to each other, with the switch in question somewhere in the middle. So I must have switched it on, and something in the perimeter wall make the RCCB trip

RCCB tripped
Found the culprit already. It are the lights on the perimeter wall, which are disconnected for years already, bur somehow I must have pressed the switch in the dark.

RCCB tripped
Sitting at my PC this evening, suddenly electricity goes off. <deleted> PEA, right? I step out of my office and see the kitchen still has lights on, so time to check the consumer unit. I have 3 circuits in the CU and the RCCB from 1 circuit has tripped. Close it again and after 5 seconds trips again, second time same story. I open all MCB's on the circuit, but RCCB still trips after about 5 seconds. Then I remove the cover from the CU to see if there is anything visible, but all looks normal. In the meantime probably 5 minutes have passed, so I close the RCCB again and now it doesn't trip anymore, so I start closing the MCB's one by one, but nothing happens. We're now about 20 minutes, all MCB's closed and electricity stays on. This is the first time ever this RCCB trips. Any ideas?
