  1. That doesn't mean that they will get the best package for their needs. It just means that they can apply A package. The OP needs to state his intended usage/duration.
  2. You register the SIM with your passport details, top up and then tap in the appropriate code or click through the appropriate link, for the package that you want. You have to decide what it is that you might need.
  3. Neglected to include that you can change/upgrade your motherboard/CPU etc and still remain activated, if you have linked your digital licence to a Microsoft account.
  4. Anyway, back to information that might actually be helpful to those perusing the thread. Contrary to the assertions of a particular member, the Windows 10/11 digital licence is stored on Microsoft servers and is not nor has ever been connected to your storage drives/hard disks. It is based on IDing your device through six different criteria (that can be found by querying the System Information application on your device). None of which include your hard disk/storage drive. So you can change your storage drive a million times and it will still activate automatically when you connect to the Internet. As long as the Windows edition(Home, Pro etc), motherboard and CPU remain the same, the activation should remain intact. What happens is that when you connect to the Internet, the activation servers check for a Hardware ID that has been previously activated. If so, it passes. What hasn't been mentioned within this thread, is that when you have a Digital Licence, it should work interchangeably for both Windows 10 and Windows 11. In other words, if you have a Digital Licence for Windows 10 Pro, you can clean install Windows 11 Pro and it will activate. You should also be able to dual boot both Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro on the same device. In addition, you change change the language and architecture. In other words, if you have Windows 10 Home 32 bit (Thai) activated with a Digital Licence, you can install Windows 10/11 64-bit (English) and it will activate. I hope this is a clear and concise explanation of Windows 10/11 Digital licencing.
  5. No @Gottfrid, you KNOW that the ONLY that I am discussing with you, is the post in which you asked why people were laughing it. I think we both understand that it is subpar. Why not just accept that it wasn't your best work and move on? Why all this wriggling? I don't drink alcohol. Nasty stuff. Obviously affects the brain.
  6. Yeah... the report you read was the OP 😊 A single story amid the multiple instances from other nationalities. You are just exaggerating to try to justify your prejudice.
  7. If you have activated International Roaming on your SIM. you can call DTAC for free. Kindly call +662-202-8100 dtac call center for 24 hour (free of charge when call from dtac and dtac prepaid SIM)
  8. One of the last things you mentioned in that post was HWID activation. That IS the basis of a digital licence. You alluded that you knew all about HWID activation, but instead you wrote about a 'hard disk licence'. A novice could go around repeating that and no one would understand them. That is misleading. I really haven't bothered to tackle your other paragraphs. Point being...if you are going to pontificate, make sure that you've got it right in the first place.
  9. NVMe IS SSD 😊 Is NVMe better than SATA SSD...was the question that you meant to pose. But your reply didn't address the question from the OP as to reliability, cost.. But given the choice from a 1TB Crucial MX500 2.5" SSD for 3000 baht or a Samsung 980 Pro as suggested earlier, for 3690 baht. I would go for the NVMe. https://www.samsung.com/th/memory-storage/nvme-ssd/980-pro-1tb-nvme-pcie-gen-4-mz-v8p1t0bw/ It depends on the device and the price point.
  10. If they are already open and it's just the drivers, then do it yourself. If you need capacitors replaced, then of course you can get someone to do that for you. Either way, order the items yourself if you need replacement speaker units. The repairer will just charge more for the same thing and they might not have them in stock anyway.
  11. Harman Kardon Soundsticks II and Harman Kardon Soundsticks III are pretty much the same. So the ifixit article is equally useful.
  12. The very obvious issue is the way that people connect and to whom they connect. I used to take a Thai girl out on her days off. Would even 'help' for fun with her job as a hotel receptionist. I just saw us as good friends, whereas likely many would think she was my girlfriend. I left her with an ATM card from my home country, in case I needed something from Thailand whilst away. I would sometimes ask her to go to a gold shop to pick something for my mum and others. I would have to insist that she took something for herself for all the time and trouble of going to the shop, post office etc. I mean INSIST. There was no interest in my money at all. Contrast that with what we see described so often on these threads. That all Asian women are lacking in morals etc
  13. I prepare a wide range of International cuisine. French, Italian, Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Middle Eastern... Don't limit yourself. If you are rural, you need to stock up on tins, jars, pulses etc What's wrong with buying a jar of Pesto Genovese and knocking up a quick pasta? Crush in a chilli to give it some heat. Jars of olives. Cheese from expat shops who can deliver. Bread which you can freeze. You can even make your own. Get over to the Food in Thailand section. There are people there, who like myself, cook regularly at home.
  14. But if you do want JT to attend, you need to do it thus @Jingthing
  15. Don't waste your time asking JT, he likes eating, not cooking. There is a more appropriate place for this thread. One where people actually write about cooking. https://aseannow.com/forum/82-food-in-thailand/ My advice? Get a slow cooker and an inexpensive oven/air fryer. Don't waste your money on expensive gadgets. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/otto-35-sc-207-235-i2021944699-s6526730462.html or https://www.lazada.co.th/products/otto-sc-208-i346636507.html https://www.lazada.co.th/products/otto-co-708-12-i2481478781-s8744024448.html or https://shopee.co.th/product/90321335/8652469303 With the slow cooker, you can make soups, stews, casseroles, curries without needing to attend too closely to them. You can then aportion and freeze. You'll soon have a variety of ready meals in your freezer. The oven for roasted potatoes, chicken and pork steaks etc https://www.lazada.co.th/products/otto-co-708-12-i2481478781-s8744024448.html
  16. How else? They don't really like you, but they want/need money.
  17. Sorry...but you are wrong....very wrong. That's just your experience.
  18. In answer to your question, they can start from Pattaya Tai/Thappraya and go all the way to Pupen on the Jomtien Beach road. Then on the way back turn in to Chaiyapreuk then Jomtien Second road back to Pattaya.
  19. But they do. The furthest is usually up to Pupen, wherein they turn around and go back. Of course they can choose to go back earlier if there is no one onboard.
  20. There is no one answer to your question, other than, it depends... Someone recommending a Samsung Pro SSD for a normal home PC running the basic software, is likely making a tongue in cheek comment. But if the budget permits.... But you haven't even stated a budget. Your question is too vague, especially with no spec stated for the PC. Most people won't have tested either choice on an identical machine. Better you look at YouTube videos for your answer.
  21. NO ONE used 'hard disk licence' 😊 Find me even a single reference to such a thing. I was still laughing at 'hard disk licence' from someone who claimed to be an expert and who tried to roundly abuse me as an amateur. I note that you ignored my invitation to MDL to put that notion to bed. Remember that you ASKED why people were downvoting your post. I answered, suggesting possible reasons why. Then you lost your rag about it, as I suggested that you would. May I suggest that if you don't like hearing the truth, perhaps you should refrain from asking for it? "Minimalistic sandbox"? Again, you are attempting to deflect and insult. Why? As to "technical, perfect terminology"...no. You haven't ever seen me do that. If I ever put together a guide for someone, it will be in words that anyone can understand, but accurate and not misleading. Your post was full of holes and 'irrelevant extra information'. That's the truth. No argument nor intention to insult. I would not have posted at all, if you didn't ask why people were downvoting. I just tell the truth. Some people don't like that. There is no bickering here. Just men discussing a subject. Asked and answered.
  22. Indeed, Anutin's boss, Newin calls him 'boss' 😊
  23. A helpful resource if needed: www.ifixit.com/Device/Harman_Kardon_Soundsticks_II
  24. In case needed: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006899813268.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002940716923.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004389460857.html Too expensive but confirms the specification.
