'Foreigner' Sam who is alleged to have stolen a key and locked himself in a hotel room. When it comes to other foreigners you are rather quick to condemn. -

Thai woman demands justice after finding Phuket Bolt driver in bed

Though you weren't so keen to believe that 'foreigner' Sam might have simply locked himself away from his crazy girlfriend. 😊 -
Some of us think the fools are the ones who rant about something they read on on the Internet...without really knowing anything at all. It seems to bother you that I choose to not swallow the story 'hook, line and sinker' 😊 I choose to believe there is more to the story. I'm am privy to information on quite a few stories here that aren't quite as reported. You won't see me ranting about this and that from something posted on someone's social media website. 😊 Enjoy your day. Try to not get triggered by everything that you read on here.

Nice try. "According to the Times of Israel, the latest revision would bring the ratio of combatants to civilians killed in the conflict to nearly 1:1. “Either way, the number would be historically low for modern urban warfare,” West Point’s urban war studies chair John Spencer wrote in late March." So even the Times of Israel admit that means at least 15,000 civilians. UN says total number of deaths in Gaza remains unchanged after controversy over revised data The United Nations on Monday clarified that the overall number of fatalities in Gaza tallied by the Ministry of Health in Gaza remains unchanged, at more than 35,000, since the war broke out between Israel and Hamas on October 7. The number was reduced because the UN says it is now relying on the number of deceased women and children whose names and other identifying details have been fully documented, rather than the total number of women and children killed. The ministry says bodies that arrive at hospitals get counted in the overall death count. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/05/13/middleeast/death-toll-gaza-fatalities-un-intl-latam/index.html

We both know that no matter what source to which I link, you will attempt to dismiss and deflect. It's your MO. https://www.aa.com.tr/en/middle-east/gaza-death-toll-nears-37-900-as-israel-kills-43-more-palestinians/3262120 https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/gaza-ministry-says-34535-palestinians-killed-israeli-strikes-since-oct-7-2024-04-30/ https://www.npr.org/2024/02/29/1234159514/gaza-death-toll-30000-palestinians-israel-hamas-war Take your pick. I expect you will try to dismiss, diminish and deflect. Heartless and uncaring.

More nonsense. Israel did use them against civilians and the U.S. has supplied them with at least 14,000 2,000lbs bombs. Reuters stated that the US military had transferred at least 14,000 of the MK-84 2,000-lb bombs, 6,500 500-lb bombs, 3,000 Hellfire precision-guided air-to-ground missiles, 1,000 bunker-buster bombs, 2,600 air-dropped small-diameter bombs, and other munitions, according to US officials who were not authorized to speak publicly. A recent US shipment of bombs to Israel was allegedly delayed due to the inclusion of 2,000-lb bombs within it. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video harshly criticizing the White House for the delay. A US official told Axios the White House's "main concern from day one was the Israeli use of the 2,000-lb bombs in Gaza, which the administration thought was inappropriate." In October, Israel dropped a 2,000-lb bomb in the center of the crowded Jabaliya refugee camp, killing some 120 people. https://www.reuters.com/world/us-has-sent-israel-thousands-2000-pound-bombs-since-oct-7-2024-06-28/

ATM's vs Exchange Rate
NowNow replied to Rig Pig's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
A totally meaningless statement. If the card provider attaches any fees, then it's no longer the 'VISA/Mastercard rate'. For example, one of my cards deducts 1% when used outside the SEPA area. So within SEPA I get the full rate and outside; rate minus 1%. Your adding "in real time" is also without meaning, since there is no way of knowing what the rate is before they are updated on their official sites. Until then you might just see the rate from the day before. How does that count as in 'real time'? What we can say is that if you don't use or are caught out by DCC, then you will get the VISA/Mastercard rate minus any deductions from the ATM and your card provider. It's quite obvious this is what has occurred to the original poster. His statement of "nowhere near" indicates that he is not receiving the full VISA/Mastercard rate, as that would qualify as 'near'. Added to this, your statement of "whatever card you use..." is also misleading, since there are cards that don't use the VISA/Mastercard network. No goalposts have been moved. You just have to learn to communicate in a way understandable to all. -
PC guru with profound knowledge.... Why such utter nonsense? On what should such a person expound to make you proclaim them as such? The OP prefers an AIO. Would a PC guru of profound knowledge know every model and it's figures for reliability off by heart? Ridiculous 😊
-
It's not going to happen. First of all, any such PC is not going to have a warranty. The builder is not going to give a warranty on parts you buy elsewhere. Therefore any diagnosis and subsequent fix is going to cost you. Replacing a faulty part will mean you chasing up with the seller of that particular part. Of course it might take a whilse to find out which part has actually failed. Do you think @giddyup will chose such an option, especially as his choice is an AIO? I think some here aren't taking into account personal choices and are coming up with some 'esoteric' ideas. 😊 I wouldn't buy an AIO. But that is what he wants. So we can either help him or just not get involved.
