  1. The model described in my post above is not the Spitz 750. It's the Mudi v2 Cat.6 (EM060K-G) To be distinguished from the Mudi v2 Cat.4 (EM05-G) which is not capable of CA. We know all three of the main networks utilise CA. For example, Truemove H: CA_1A-3A (B1+B3) CA_1A-8A (B1+B8) CA_1A-3A-8A (B1+B3+B8) AIS: CA_1A-3A (B1+B3) CA_1A-3A-8A (B1+B3+B8) DTAC: CA_1A-3A (B1+B3) CA_40C (B40+B40) CA_40D (B40+B40+B40) Though certainly worth contacting them for updated info. Whether you'll get that info is another thing altogether.
  2. I took a look at one of their products: https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-e750/ It covers single band use in Thailand easily: LTE-FDDB1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B14/B17/B18/B19/B20/B25/B26/B28/B29②/B30/B32①/B66/B71 LTE-TDDB34/B38/B39/B40/B41/B42/B43/B46① (LAA)/B48 (CBRS) Here we see the CA possibilities: B2+B2/5/12/13/29③;B4+B4/5/12/13/29③; B5+B5/7/25/30/66; B7+B7/12/26;B12+B12/25/30/66; B13+B66; B25+B25/26; B30+B29; B66+B29/66; B41+B41; The pairs highlighted in bold may be the only pairs relevant to Thailand. Of course their other models may have other specifications. I just chose that one at random.
  3. What part, exactly, did they break?
  4. Carrier Aggregation would need to support the frequencies utilised in the intended locations. Otherwise it is useless. They sell on Shopee: https://shopee.co.th/glinet.th The very first review states that the seller does not answer technical questions. Perhaps they need to get on to that.
  5. Draws a lot more power, more cumbersome and may not be able to output 4k 60fps.
  6. Soulnd like you bought a cheap and nasty Android box or some other hardware not fit for purpose. No buffering, (unless the Internet connection is inadequate) nor restarting here. But you paid more so that you could run Windows. Understood. 4x times more.
  7. Did the OP ask for a 'fully loaded' KODI box, Mr Strawman?
  8. I don't understand what you are writing here. Does Windows come with no applications and Telemetry? You really seem to be 'losing it' here. Is this your normal behaviour?
  9. This thread is not about the performance you require. It's about the performance required by @carlyai
  10. My laptop cannot output 4k via HDMI. My ToX Android box can. There goes your theory....
  11. They aren't all equal. For example, the box the OP purchased is really an 800 baht box. It will only reliably play FHD material. Fine for the light usage criteria of the OP. 800 baht, not 7000+ baht.
  12. OP knows. Mini PC don't compete with Android boxes. Android box at 1400 baht can output 4k resolution at 60fps. How much would you have to pay for a mini PC or laptop in order to do the same? Answers on a postcard please.
  13. He's told you MANY times. A good manufacturer. Do you think your mini PC will be good for Windows 20? Why post utter rubbish?
  14. Because it was a laughably stupid suggestion to buy mini PCs as opposed to Android boxes. Spending 4x more to get the same job done. Idiotic.
  15. But it isn't. You have to load Windows before you can do anything else. Then perhaps you need to sign in... We can time it if you like. From switch on to playing 4k 60fps media.
  16. What makes an Android box decent in your eyes? It seem the 1200 to 1400 baht ToX4 is more than adequate to the task. @gargamon appears quite satisfied with his purchase. Job done for no more than 1400 baht. Why pay more for things that aren't necessary?
  17. What does this have to do with Thailand?
  18. So you boot into Windows and then go to your storage and double click on your media....or open your media player of choice and select your media via the media player GUI. With an Android box, you can do exactly the same. Switch on, select KODI and it opens up with access to all of your locally stored media and media in the cloud or NAS. What can be easier and faster than that? Aside from that, no one is suggesting that using an existing PC is not a viable proposition. What is being discussed is that it is not necessary to buy a PC over an Android box for the tasks described. It doesn't do the job any better and just costs more.
  19. You might think that is a smart reply....but in fact DTAC didn't ever sell those SIM packs directly to the public.
  20. If it's easier/faster to use on your PC, then you purchased an Android box barely fit for purpose. Booting into Windows and then into Android and then on to your applications will not be easier and faster than just turning on your Android box. We can time it if you like. Which sequences are you claiming are easier and faster?
  21. The 250 baht per month offer likely refers to a MybyNT SIM up to 30Mbps pack. They use a completely different set of wavebands than NT Wireless. 3000 baht per annum if you pay month by month or 2800 baht for the 12 month pack. They have a sharing agreement with AIS. Think of MybyNT as the old CAT Telecom and NT Wireless and NT Mobile as the old TOT. Not a surprise that you didn't get what you wanted. It's a bit complicated for the uninitiated.
  22. You missed getting on the train when AIS were selling Unlimited 30 Mbps SIM packs for 235 baht per month. Now no longer officially available. Some TP-Link routers have the ability to lock on to a particular band. TL-MR6400 has a Beta firmware supplied by TP-Link that includes the functionality. TL-MR400 has it out of the box. There are still a few options that advertise Up to 30Mbps and up to 100Mbps, but not with AIS. I listed them earlier. The cheapest being the NT Wireless Thunder SIM, offered for around 900 baht online...covers 12 months of usage of up to 100 Mbps. The caveat being that it's not for use out and about. You'll need to check as to whether there is coverage at your place. Your router/device needs to be able to 'see' LTE Band 40(2300MHz). The same ability would be useful for the DTAC 30 Mbps SIM pack, as they also use that waveband, amongst others. Apartments above the 5th floor are not guaranteed NT Wireless service. You cannot depend on advertising for speeds. The only way to know is to buy SIMs from the different networks and to test them until you get the result that you want.
  23. I meant 1690. Reading the post that you quoted should most certainly have given you a clue as to where I got 1690. https://www.wpnmobile.com/product/29250-36595/รวม-ซิมเทพดีแทค-ซิมคงกระพัน-ซิมเน็ตรายปี-5g-พร้อมแพ็กเกจโทรฟรี-ตลอด-24-ชั่วโมง-นาน-1-ปี-จัดส่งฟรี
  24. The topic: Safely Communicating Online with Thai Girls
  25. Actually most Android Boxes that I seen have a form of KODI installed. It's not always called KODI. If they call it a KODI box that the likelihood is that there are purchasing it in order to run KODI. Hence...KODI box. No need to be pedantic about it.
