  1. No, price has nothing to do with it. @BigStar mentioned the nVidia Shield, that's more expensive than your mini PC but overkill for what is needed. The 1200 to 1400 baht Android box will easily cover what is needed. No need for you to lose your marbles over it.
  2. Can your laptop play and stream 4k video? If so, would you sell it for 1400 baht? I am still using the Android box I bought years ago with Android 9. No issues with 'app developers no longer supporting...' So boxes with Android 13 should be ok for many years. OP doesn't need to run Windows and your 4x the cost mini PC does not outperform the Android box for when it comes to the criteria supplied by the OP. It's you 'banging on' on price. Everyone else is discussing devices suitable to the task. Android box does the job. Running Windows is not part of the criteria, so no need to spend 4x more to get the same result.
  3. No. If that were possible then it would be available as an 'add-on'. It's called Ready SIM because it's a new SIM package. But you can select your number from the range they present online. So best to buy online in that case. 1690 from the WPN website.
  4. You wrote about topping up 250 baht per month. So definitely not the NT Wireless SIM. I think that you would have been happy with a six month SIM had they offered that to you.
  5. Nothing there for 399. I checked with them a while back. The cheap condo packages for 299 etc were something like 50Mbps/20 Mbpa and didn't cover my condo anyway.
  6. Your error. You tried to buy a completely different product. Perhaps NT Mobile or MybyNT as opposed to NT Wireless. The 250 monthly topup sounds like a MybyNT SIM. https://shopee.co.th/nt.official_shop The 12 month SIM are widely available, from 899 baht.
  7. 2k more would equate to a price of 399 baht inclusive of VAT. Share with our esteemed members where they can get a 500Mbps Fibre connection for 399 baht inclusive of VAT. Hopefully to include installation and equipment.
  8. 😊 I posted at least nine different options for Unlimited data volume, including prices. Don't waste your time arguing that they are not unlimited.
  9. How can you have reached the limit of an Unlimited 4Mbps package? The only limit is the speed, not the volume.
  10. IF his router has the capability to find and utilise LTE Band 40 and IF he has coverage in the first place. Don't get over-excited 😊
  11. You did what? 😊 You swapped a 200 GB package costing 2400 baht for a 50 GB package costing 2200 baht? Why not just top up 2400 baht at one time(in increments to build up validity days) and not think about it again?
  12. There is no unlimited 5G for when it comes to Prepaid. Are you willing to fork out up to 1200 baht monthly for unlimited 5G? That's what AIS are charging postpaid. Similarly DTAC. So that 2400 baht monthly every month, to include your backup. Prepaid doesn't have unlimited 5G. You'll get an amount of perhaps 30GB, which then defaults to an amount of an úp to 15Mbps fixed speed, when then drops down to 1Mbps for the remaining duration. Your phone should be faster than your mobile router unless it's a cheapie. A Cat.12 or say, Cat.21 mobile should be faster than a Cat.4 or Cat.6 router. But a router will have more specialist function. Allowing you to lock on to a less congested band, improving your experience. See my other post for current unlimited fixed speed options.
  13. Seems as if your AIS router is band switching and so resetting the connection each time. I solved that issue by obtaining a router that allowed you to choose a particular band. Improved speeds considerably, as the other bands were congested and relatively slow. Annual Unlimited SIM are available, but that doesn't mean they will all perform optimally. Your device and location will play a part. TRUE Unlimited 15 Mbps is around 2800 baht. DTAC Unlimited 15 Mbps around 2600 baht. AIS no longer sells their equivalent, though you can attach an Annual Unlimited 6 Mbps pack for 3500 baht. NT Mobile has Unlimited 15 Mbps for around 1700: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/angel-nt-15mbps-i5181594586-s21988769178.html & https://www.lazada.co.th/products/angel-nt-15mbps-i5182564004-s21994319585.html There is the NT Thunder SIM mentioned a couple of posts earlier: https://wcsoss.totwbs.com/promotion 999 baht for unlimited up to 100Mbps fixed point data for 12 months. Again, location and device permitting. MybyNT has Unlimited 10Mbps for 2200 baht: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/my-by-nt-10mbps-60-1-i4150485125-s16289158002.html There are also a couple of annual options for unlimited 30 Mbps: My by NT: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/my-my-by-nt-30mbps-60-nt-i556522165-s1019344298.html and DTAC(stocks are intermittent in their availabilty). Similar pricing. All prices are correct to within 100 baht. Anything drastically cheaper is fake. If you have a Thai partner, than you have access to GoMo Unlimited 10Mbps for 160 baht per 30 days. There is Finnmobile.io that offers Unlimited 20 Mbps for 259 monthly. I think that covers everything for when it comes to unlimited data packs. Best to bookmark it.
  14. What likely happened was theat the previous customer failed to take his receipt, leaving it in the slot. Then you arrived...
  15. I doubt it was a Microsoft issue. Plus what you did with Command Prompt/Powershell is absolutely standard form if you are adding a key to an already installed OS. You left important information out. Such as whether it was a clean install or the adding of a key to an earlier install.
  16. So now you know. I know, because I saw someone sitting there. Listen @BigStar, their website existed a long time before the new supermarket was built. Why do you feel the need to try to show you know it best without really knowing anything? They have also had a Shopee presence for some time now. The supermarket looks terrible, their website not particularly accessible. This is how it is now. Friendship a lot better run currently. Of course I hope they improve and I made some suggestions.
  17. That's where the money is...
  18. I'm sure there is seating outside the new BEST supermarket too, so I'm not sure of your point there. Everything I wrote still stands. Went there twice and walked out empty handed twice. Have you visited their website? No English nor any other language version than Thai. No doubt it will pick up, due to it's location and product lines. But it's still a horrible soulless place.
  19. Early yesterday? It happened on the 17th. More than two days ago....
  20. Wrong. The first Friendship was on Pattaya Tai close to Walking Street. The new biggesr branch arrived in 1996.. Your claims about BEST being busier is based on nothing at all. They both had two branches each. BEST on Klang opposite the old TOPS and Friendship with two on Pattaya Tai. You have no evidence at all at to how busy the new Friendship was compared to how busy the New BEST is.
  21. Example of the information it will give you from the key. If you wish you can let us know the results of Profile, Description, Edition Type, Edition ID, Key Type, EULA and Upgrade Key. It's safe to share those details. Just don't share the key itself.
  22. Run the key through a PID checker tool. It will tell you exactly which edition it should activate. Take your pick: https://gitlab.com/stdout12/adns/uploads/16bf833b7fd896cba02310e060331747/SimplePidX_1.4.0.7z https://github.com/laomms/PidKeyTool
  23. Did you run a clean install or just add the key to an existing install?
  24. I'm not referring to Friendship. They haven't moved and are usually busy . BEST is not that busy....at least not in the times that I visited. Of course great for the few regulars.
