Flying to India, Calcutta is 2 hours away, Bout £140 return, flying back to UK,although arduous was worth it, mri scan ,£750 up to £1000 quotes in TH, in UK given like confetti, hospitalised UK on return twice, plus TURP op,plus £1500 tax free straight away and £110 a week tax free even pay here in Thailand, got high end accomodation thru past employment and docs seen instantly, even a and.e seen straight away. Bottles of morphine given,no use of it,pour it down drain I'm not paying.these stupid prices. My bloody arms were black with blood taking, but here now,was encouraged to return to the th more than a few times by NHS staff . NHS gave £3000 just for taxi fares every day for 5 weeks to cancer hospital, although they state cancer free,I'm wary of it's return I'm 78

If you go over take a handful of rupees, try not to use ATM,travel agents there give better than official x rate

At GP same day as arrival, gave me sr1,termination of life certificate ,treatment plans coming out ears. Can 'getting' cancer ever be a good thing?
jori123 replied to Stiddle Mump's topic in Off the beaten track
Only if I get a SR 1 termination of life certificate. ,attendance allowance, get the cancer eradicated, then extra benefits for life,no council tax, tax free income, levelling up payments,.... -

OAP will never be means tested,U paid for it thru ni,but other methods might be investigated.being frozen for many a year must be numbing, especially after voluntary giving non essential information in belief that officialdom would spring forth, ridiculous, losing tens of thousands unessararly, read of DWP regulations would solve it. Anyway spoke to DWP few days ago, getting £110 a week tax free, at mo now back to th next week, plus unfrozen OAP,informed unfrozen OAP no problem, but £110 will be after 13 weeks, pay me to travel back every 3 months or so -

Best you can do? .You really do sound like an 81 year old git ,which you are , and has lost his marbles. Think it's time to take up flying lessons " no greater love hath a frozen pensioner given, than to lay down his own frozen pension to the benefit of unfrozen pensioners " -
