  2. I hear ya. you sound like a real Renaissance fellow -- Duck Dynasty meets a night at La Scala. bet you like your food as well!
  3. I see, thanks for sharing. I can understand how an avid outdoorsman like yourself would be attracted to collecting and growing a hill of plastic.
  4. Are you <deleted>ting me? Since my first year here Halloween has been huge and only gotten bigger. This is like saying this don't celebrate valentines day. perhaps you need an LLM tha has actually visited SE Asia?
  5. you are the man! good to have a hobby, innit?
  6. looks rather similar to the view from my house on one of the islands in the gulf

  9. if people still support trump at this late stage, no movie will deter them.
  10. you inferred that it was not a tragedy, that they were stupid. Close enough
  11. anything to drive engagement.
  12. For fresh veg (avocados, asparagus, broccoli cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, tomatoes, onions, carrots, fresh peppers ...) seafood (frozen mussels, shrimp, clams), and poultry as well as a number of regular staples like plain yogurt, feta cheese, red rice and stuff like that, I use freshket every couple of weeks. They even have taco shells, tortillas and the like. it also has really cheap huge fresh dill, cilantro, basil, and green onions. Arrives the next morning, For other meats, I order from Sloanes and Smoky Mountain (also has mainland cheddar) once a month or as needed. Once you have done your first order, you just reorder items as needed, no searching or faffing about, Milk and stuff like fresh herbs, tarragon, sage thyme etc I'll go down the block to Villa when I need it. fruit comes from the fruit guy that passes by the house daily.
  13. you mean you think its accurate based on not having seen the film. that's like saying I think that steak is delicious based on the pictures
  14. interesting, beyond visits to Villa to pick up goods I can't order online, or emergency bike parts so I can ride "today rather than waiting," I order everything online. I haven't set foot in a mall since before covid and that suits me fine.
  15. indeed. the op makes it clear this applies to purchases with discounts applied. The OP even highlighted the relevant passage in blue.
  16. did you apply free shipping or any other discount?
  17. Did you read the post? Op makes it clear they understand that.
  18. I understand the meaning of the word remittance. What I don't understand is that you are telling me as a tax resident if someone on-shore transfers 800k into my account that would not be considered reportable and taxable income.
  19. If they are scrutinizing income, 800k passing through an account would be notable, remittance or not. or so one would think...
  20. <deleted>, but having that 800k pass through your account for 15 minutes does raise some interesting questions relating to the new income tax policies
  21. There is often a charge for the first year as well.
  22. I had one under duress and never returned.
  23. Slang exists, people use it. Language develops over time, each generation adds words while traditionalists, gatekeepers of language, and dullards of your ilk squeal that it's inappropriate. Its you that is wrong, nobody cares whether you, personally, see humour or don't. We are too busy moving forward.
  24. ah, a woman to match your personal mythology
