So fascism would be on the continuum with anarchy -- no government? How do you make sense of totalitarian governments being on opposite ends?

A continuum moves from one extreme to the other. The continuum I posted moves from total government control to no government. You can disagree with it, but it's factual. Your opinion would have total government control on opposite ends of the continuum, which wouldn't make sense. Any socialism with another name attached is still socialism, still immoral, still oppressive, still authoritarian. It leans toward total government control and less freedom. You can always make your own continuum and show me where no government (anarchy) would fall if different types of socialism are on your extreme left and right.

Far right is more freedom and less government leaning toward anarchy. Far left is less freedom and more government control leaning toward total government control.

What you believe is best for you in any socialist regime, no matter what extra tag you place on it, will be overruled the the government. The government will have you do what's best for the collective.

Correct. Socialism removes free enterprise and focuses on the collective, which means that individual liberty is out the window. Pure democracy "mob rule" replaces the rule of law of the Republic.

Many people, and even people who support Kamala no matter what, are realizing this: Kamala knows less about policy, news, existing public controversies, and even recent history, than most people who read TwitX or the New York Times or even listen to the news on radio or TV. I believe that anyone on the street or even on this forum (except for those on my "ignore" list) knows more about what's going on than what Kamala knows. It's like she's totally oblivious and has no clue about anything. It's as if Kamala hasn't paid much attention to anything for many years. Interviewers are trying their best to be kind to her, but even the slightest bit of pushback on what she knows shows that she knows nothing. I am beyond thinking that she is being cagey or clever in her responses. Much of it is that she doesn't know and just uses a lot of filler to cover it up. Maybe she left everything to staff over these many years. Kamala has always been a smiling face that has gotten by faking it. She's been doing it for so long that she knows no other way. Now being thrust into a run for POTUS, she has to know a minimum something about everything, and she is totally unprepared to deal with it. Her supporters -- at least the intellectually honest ones -- are as mortified by her nonsense as anyone; but they'll never admit it.

There has ALWAYS been a way for the Constitution to be amended, and when Americans want it amended, they do it. If it was not the case, there would be no amendments beyond the first ten Bill of Rights. Because 3/4 of the states need to ratify any amendment, there will not be 38 states that will ratify anything that limits speech 1A or gun ownership 2A. And Americans will NOT ratify an amendment that makes ratification easier.

Nope. But you can have that opinion. The Left is characterized by less freedom and more government toward totalitarian -- total government control. The Right is characterized by more freedom and less government toward anarchy -- no government. Classic Liberals are about individual liberty and "live and let live." They are to the right of conservatives. But 21st century Democrats are not liberal, not progressive, not democratic and not independent. They are immoral, authoritative, oppressive, totalitarian Leftists. They may call themselves all those other things, but they're Leftists. Case closed.

Yes, AOC and Bernie were parroting that line when Democrats were still trying to hide who they really are. With Leftists, if Trump is in a photo with anyone who has had any criminal ties ever in their life, Trump is automatically a co-conspirator and involved in the criminal activity.
