A man stumbled into the emergency room dressed in a medieval bard's outfit, clutching his stomach with one hand and moaning in agony. With his free hand he was clutching a lute, which he dropped on the floor in front of them nurse's station.
He then collapsed in a heap on the floor, rolled himself into a fetal position, and began to moan much louder. Fearing serious food poisoning, doctors quickly brought a stretcher out and rolled him into the bowels of the ER.
Half an hour later, the man walked past the nurse and out the door, whistling happily to himself. Noticing that the man looked much healthier, the nurse asked one of the doctors what was ailing the man.
The doctor shrugged and said "nothing serious....just minstrel cramps."

Could that be classified as a "period drama" on TV!

Almost anyone with a smart phone will accept or pay 'scan' payments.

I think you mean "Almost anyone with a smart phone will CAN but do NOT necessarily wish to accept or pay 'scan' payments.

Please see my earlier post where I pointed out why I made the OP.

I do not believe that this thread needs high jacking re the merits/demerits of payment methods!

Remember seeing a krungsri ATM in front of mini BIg C. is that gone too?

After shutting at pantip, BKK bank has recently closed another branch on sri donchai next to maninarakorn hotel.

Pantip has lost a couple more coffee shops on the groundfloor & the dunkin donuts recently.

    Please see my OP!

Both the ATMs at the mini Big"C" and the bank just up the road from it are available as is the ATM at the 7/11 further west on the other side of the road (i.e. same side as Pantip)

Use your bank phone app to scan and pay at the checkout.

I don't think my local Mom & Pop store do electronic transfers or Tuk Tuks or many other "non electronic/wired/smart/internet etc" places.

Cash is still required in many retail outlets/areas in Thailand.

PS;  My OP was only intended for Information to the general public who visit that area with an expectation of ATM facilities so that they would not be fustrated!
