  1. Master Esu (Jesus)said you should chew every spoonful of food 40 times before swallowing, and Master Buddha taught his students to chew 100 times. Now the secret here is the consistency of the food before swallowing, if you just concentrate on the taste of the food as your chewing, your mind has been automatically programmed as to when to swallow at the correct consistency. You must have the enzymes in the raw food prepared correctly for digestion and that's where saliva is the answer, because saliva activates the enzymes in raw food for digestion. As far as blended raw veggies and fruits go, I don't just gulp it down, each mouthful I swish around in my mouth a few seconds to mix with saliva to activate the enzymes. Best book I've ever read is Conscious Eating by Gabriel Cousens and his Rainbow Diet. Met the man at the San Francisco Whole Life Expo years ago and went to his seminar. Also have done intestinal cleansing using Ejuva and Rise & Shine products. three main ingredients are Worm Wood, Black Walnut, Cloves capsules (I make my own)and psyllium (all organic, plus a colema board (to expensive to ship to Thailand so I made my own from plans on the net.

  2. My landlords daughter got an IT bachelor degree at Prince University in Phuket and started off getting 11,000 baht a month, then got her masters degree and making 15,000 baht a month, which is of course is a total insult according to western standards. I retired from teaching 5 years ago as a farang in Thailand, taught for 7 years, started at 25,000 baht and finished at 50,000 baht a month, specializing in kindergarten.

  3. Genuine designer products have always been a total rip off, like over 80% of what there really worth, even if it's a well made quality item, take off the designer label and the fake value comes to light. Plenty of good quality items out there that aren't registered as a designer item.

  4. All of these Thai employees are trained to say this, and each one only says it once. If you want to mimimize the amount of times it's said to you, then know the store your going to and walk directly to the department that has what you need, if you window shop while your there, then guaranteed you'll be approached many times. Don't dilly-dally, get what you need quick and leave. This is a silly thing to be concerned about really, like try to find someone to help you in the USA at Home Depot. Sawadee Kha

  5. As a retireed farang in Thailand since 2001, I don't go to any of these high priced tourist areas, I live in a mostly Thai villa and have many neighbors I socialize with and they watch after my house when I'm gone. My closest Thai friend is a taxi driver and volunteer policeman, and has advised me in many situations regarding a translator needed, for free. I feel sad for many tourist coming to Thailand because their in areas where most of theives, scammers, crooks reside. Get outside of that element and the real Thailand I throughly enjoy exist!

  6. All farangs need to be educated concerning Thai culture before coming to Thailand. In Thailand you can't be blowing off your mouth at Thai's like you normally do in your own country. On a whole Thailand is a very polite country and farangs need to more respectful and not think their better than most Thai's. Because of their Buddhist up bringing, Thai's aren't use to being insulted by others, especially farangs, Thai's have a hair trigger when it comes to their emotions, and Loosing Face is the ultimate insult. All farangs should leave their anger problems at home and learn from Thai culture.
