  1. ^^ Agree. If they have a Thai partner, this is a good option. They have an unlimited data option. 259 baht for 30 days of unlimited up to 15 Mbps. As and when or auto renewal for 12 months.
  2. @fredwiggy Nice to see you posting good sense for a change. 😉
  3. @Agusts MXQ Pro 4K 5G....powered by X88.... AFAIK it has 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage. Just old rubbish. 500 baht. Don't do it.
  4. @jippytum Have you had bad experiences with women in your life? You are being quite disrespectful about people of whom you have no knowledge at all. I guess you think you are funny. The life and soul...
  5. @illisdean Your posts are moving into the unhinged territory again. Why the ranting in every post? Please calm down and try to at least tackle the subject matter, instead of acting like a keyboard warrior.
  6. @illisdean There are the signs of mental illness again. Ranting, but no substance. I am aware of the DOHA accord. I thought that is what we were discussing in the first place. You seem to be blaming Biden for it, when it was Trump's agreement. What is it that you would like to highlight from the accord? I'm not getting your point. Can you at least try to discuss without the histrionics?
  7. @richard_smith237 Yes they work for Data Roaming and WiFi Calling. No, you cannot port your number to the 12 month SIM. If you want to keep your number, you'll need to port it to a new SIM and then add the package that you want. To add a 12 month pack, the cost is from 2200 baht. For that, with True or DTAC(2290 baht), you get 100 GB per month and some free calls.. With AIS(2200 baht) you get 50GB per month. No calls included. AIS has a 100GB option for 2750 baht. If you want non-stop/unlimited data, it costs more.
  8. @illisdean There are the signs of mental illness I broached earlier, with another Mental Acuity Gone Away. The assumption that you are communicating with a Democrat supporter. I'm not involved with the American political system. I just see the foolish writings of particular people here. Their behaviour is appalling. In general I avoid any discussions here, due to the frankly, imbecilic behaviour demonstrated here on a regular basis. I'm simply discussing the facts as we know them. Whereas you seem to be locked into some childish playground argument. Let's see if you can hold a normal conversation. One without apparently deranged behaviour. You say that Biden's Generals advised him against the withdrawal. Are you suggesting that he should have cancelled the agreement that Trump made?
  9. @illisdean I'm not sure what you think is funny. It' appears to be a kind of psychosis, wherein the symptom is to try to blame the other side, even in the face of overwhelming evidence showing otherwise. Yes, that's right. The Trump administration. https://www.factcheck.org/2021/08/timeline-of-u-s-withdrawal-from-afghanistan/ For me it's shocking to see such infantile behaviour disguised as debating. The Trump administration agreement with the Taliban was that they keep a handle on the 'terrorist' groups there. One such group was ISIS-K, the group held responsible for the suicide bombing.
  10. @frank83628 Your reply to me demonstrates exactly what I asserted in the first place. Take a look for yourself: Again you are ranting at that invisible enemy. Show me even a single example of me(since you replied to me, referring to me as one of the "you guys") freaking out at everything Trump has said. Even ONE example will do. Can't you see that it is you freaking out? I see this style of posting from a select few here. This is obviously something that you've picked up from someone else, wherein it has become a bad habit. Instead of calm and reasoned analysis and discussion, it's the same old rant about other people's derangement. That is purely baiting and Trolling the thread. Worse, you accuse people of that who haven't picked a side. Please, don't take it in a negative manner. I'm only pointing out the obvious. It's you freaking out.
  11. @frank83628 Is that what passes for normal behaviour these days? Ranting like a lunatic and at the same time claiming the invisible people whom you are ranting at, are lunatics? This is not a flame nor anything like that. I just wonder why the people who seem to cling to one side, all have the same debating tactic. In my observation, it's something that you've picked up from someone else and you are just running with it. The derangement syndrome device is already old and tired. Try coming out with something original. You aren't even trying to debate. To my eyes, most of these threads are a waste of time. There is no discussion at all, nor even an attempt to agree on some matters, whilst disagreeing on others. It's literally dismissing anything that you imagine is critical of your dear leader. What happened to critical thinking skills? I just see monkeys throwing 💩 Are you critical of anything, other than the imaginary people you assume to be your extreme opposites?
  12. @safarimike11 Stop it, you are embarrassing yourself. So you would buy a 10 baht pack of sticky rice, pour the carton of UHT coconut milk over it and call that Khao Niew Ma Muang? I happily pay 100 baht to sit to eat it here: https://g.co/kgs/3gmTWvN
  13. @fredwiggy That has nothing to do with what you wrote originally and is in fact just a flight of fancy. You wrote: So address that if your intention is to have a discussion and a sharing of experiences, rather than to ramble on, talking at people, with some fabricated opinion piece. Why is it that you are unable to write of your own personal experiences? My actual experience trumps your flight of fancy that is based on nothing but you imagining that your construct is somehow reality. Write of your actual experience, rather than something that you have read and simply put together in your mind. Stop trying to tell us what other people have experienced and tell us what you have experienced.....or not as the case may be. Thai woman loved and loves me firstly for the way I am. I haven't given her any money other than the 2,000 baht mentioned earlier....and that was a looooong time ago. That's reality, rather than a construct existing solely in your mind. The fact that other people settle for less, is to do with their own weakness and nothing to do with your false statement of: That is in your experience. Talk about yourself. Is that too difficult for you?
  14. @simon43 You did write 50+ 70's depends on his physical condition. If he's 70, but looks and acts younger(in a good way) and has high standards, there are good women out there for him. 40's 50's why not? If he's decrepit and looking for a 30 year old woman, then he may get what he deserves.
  15. There is some terrific nonsense being written here. TBH, I'm not sure the OP is 'real' either. All this describing women in absolutes, even a scientist came out with this; Shocking nonsense. That is a seriously jaded person. I've met a few bargirls over the years(not in bars) and none of them asked me for money nor expected any. Though on at least one occasion, I may have helped out with rent of 2,000 baht. I know if they ask, they really need it. Perhaps the real issue is the low standard of the males involved. If someone wants to be with me, they need to come up to my standards..... or git! Bar girl in this case, took up a normal job in order to prove herself to me. Still with no financial support from me. So many are so desperate, that they lower themselves to accepting garbage or they are just garbage themselves and get what they deserve. Of course there is every combination in between. Up to you. Find a women who is right for you or just settle for whatever you can get. Ex bar girl doesn't equate to bad or greedy person. If you have high standards, it's easy to separate the wheat from the chaff.
  16. At @Gecko123 My Quote button is not working. You have obviously assumed, incorrectly, that I was referring to your post. I wasn't referring to those events in particular, but gift giving in general. I can only refer to my experiences. So lets move to 2. Gift giving was initiated by the female. There was no ''largesse' on my part. Nor gifts in return. Related or unrelated to that is the exchange of gifts and kindnesses between friends and acquaintances alike. Perhaps it depends on the kinds of relationships that you nurture. Pay no attention to the comments made in the discussion with the aforementioned poster. Don't take them to heart. They weren't for your ears. Perhaps characterised as a rude person getting a taste of his own medicine.
  17. Funny you should say that. Just yesterday a Russian friend sent me a video message with her new hairstyle with a double ponytail.
  18. @fredwiggy You might consider that if I didn't deserve them, I wouldn't have been given them in the first place. I'm sorry, but don't remember asking for your advice. I certainly wouldn't ask a male self styled 'Agony Aunt' with failed marriages and some bought and paid for relationships behind him, stuck in Thailand with a young kid at 78 years old, for advice. But thanks anyway. The OP asked for our experiences, so perhaps you should limit your posts to your experiences. What happened to "You be you, she'll be her" Perhaps some of us aren't that interested in material things. But I guess you didn't read that in your books.
  19. I went into an AIS service centre a couple of weeks ago to grab a 50 baht SIM. No have. Went to another who told me that they only sell SIM if you buy a 300+ baht package with it. I grabbed a couple of 50 baht SIM online and went back to the same service centre to register them. The new scam I guess. Much like at the airports, to try to get you to spend at least 300 baht, even if you just need a SIM with no add ons.
  20. Some 'interesting' observations here. My Thai friends gave me gifts. Many. It's absolutely incorrect to suggest that Thai people do not give gifts. It's not, as suggested a 'cultural thing' for Thai people to not give gifts. That is ridiculous. But on the other hand, I very rarely open my gifts. So a variation on the OP's issue. I have gifts more than ten years old that I haven't opened. My reasoning is that I have enough at the moment...
  21. @Chivas It's for British Airways. Stop arguing senselessly when the evidence is before your eyes. Your screenshot is not from the Norse Atlantic Airways website. I don't know why you would try to mislead that it did. if you go to https://flynorse.com/en-GB/book/flights you will find their flight leaves at 1600 hrs from LGW and 1230 hrs from BKK. I found flights from the 26th of October. Cheaper O/W flights in November and December. From £331. Other way, from £298.
  22. Service fee rates for the “GO Travel EXTRA” add-on package (excluding VAT 7%) are as follows: GO Travel EXTRA (ASIA & AUS) 599-baht, 7 GB data roaming and 50 minutes of calls to Thailand, local calls in destination country, and incoming calls for 10 days in Asian countries and Australia 749-baht, 14 GB data roaming and 50 minutes of calls to Thailand, local calls in destination country, and incoming calls for 10 days in Asian countries and Australia GO Travel EXTRA (Worldwide) 1,099-baht, 7 GB data roaming and 50 minutes of calls to Thailand, local calls in destination country, and incoming calls for 15 days in Worldwide 1,499-baht, 14 GB data roaming and 50 minutes of calls to Thailand, local calls in destination country, and incoming calls for 15 days in Worldwide If you have an iPhone, consider using an eSIM for that particular country.
  23. @Bkk Brian I already explained why I think it was meant to be deliberately offensive. There was no need to put Zionist in his post at all. He did it to offend and as per the article, he has form for doing so,
  24. What proof do you have that the vast majority supported it? I don't always comment on the ridiculous statements made on this forum. Does that mean that I agree with them? Let's hope that you don't work in an office, as this is what he thinks of office workers. Again: From Severn Water: “The allegations in the Telegraph are not the whole story nor is this an isolated incident. This relates to the conduct of an individual who posted highly charged content on a range of topics from gender to sexuality to race in an online work platform – having previously been warned this was not the appropriate forum to do so".
  25. @Bkk Brian It's offensive in much the same way as using company property to suggest that everyone in Severn Water supported Putin's invasion.
