  1. Personally, I'd just rent a car and do it myself. It would take care of your own transport there also. Renting a SUV in Phuket and returning in Hua Hin a couple of days later costs about 6,000 baht through Budget.
  2. It's not live. Electronic visa is completely different. It's unlikely she would need a visa. Most countries are visa exempt to Thailand, so I doubt she would have been applying for an electronic visa either.
  3. Looks like that Buddha has a smug arrogant look on his face. Almost like they tried to make it even more offensive.
  4. Note the key part: can be stored at room temp until opened. The heat treatment is irrelevant after it's opened.
  5. I should have said intentionally false and ridiculous. They do it knowing the answer they are giving is false. They think they are being funny, but you are probably right that they are stupid also.
  6. Well trump did promise to lower inflation on day one. If he couldn't do it, he shouldn't have said it.
  7. Check the box, it probably says, "refrigerate after opening" or something similar. Almost anything with protein in water needs to be refrigerated after opening.
  8. Yah always. trump doesn't deserve the respect of a capital.
  9. Musk doesn't care about Tesla anymore. If he didn't, he wouldn't be upsetting Tesla's mostly Democrat customers by turning MAGA. I expect Tesla's sales to continue to decline. I think he is more interested in getting trump to end all regulation on space X so he can get to Mars.
  10. Both have super easy refunds with just a few clicks online. It literally takes seconds. Priceline gives you a minimum of 24 hr, but usually longer. They will show the exact time when you search for flights. The cut off time is always the same time of day, and if it's a weekend you get until the next Monday. Make sure you choose a flight that clearly says it's refundable. With Delta be very careful you choose a fully refundable fare. Most aren't.
  11. How is this a new low? Makes no sense at all. Surely the attacks on Oct 7 were worse than switching out a body.
  12. But on fully paid tickets you also get a ticket number.
  13. Correct, with that site and similar sites you get a booking reference, but not a ticket number. No ticket is ever created. They just make reservation and then never ticket it. Most airlines fall for those fake tickets. I don't think we have ever seen a case reported here of denied boarding with one of those reservations. If you aren't comfortable with that like me, book a ticket with priceline and you get a little longer than 24 hours to refund it. Can be up to 72 hours if weekends are involved. Or book a fully refundable ticket--Delta has fully refundable tickets from Thailand to US with easy refunds.
  14. No. 14.28% AN readers just like giving ridiculous answers to polls, so the poll results are wrong.
  15. There are no retirement visas to Vietnam. It's tough to stay longer than 3 months. Not many foreigners live here permanently. Most long term foreigners are like me, digital nomads who stay 3 months then move on elsewhere. Basic western food like peanut butter, pasta is available at supermarkets. The selection is certainly better than on Koh Chang, but not nearly as good as bangkok, pattaya, etc. Cost of living is similar to Thailand, probably a little cheaper. It depends on the quality of place you are looking for.
