Wise transfer, thai baht to BKK account, stuck?
so you want to transfer 15k, not 15 million..... what would plan B, C and D be? Of course, have a zillion dollars and couriers and just buy the bank, etc... but 15k means there is only one plan. If I'm using my phone and sending 10k to someone, there is only ONE plan.

Thailand Promotes Muay Thai Globally by Certifying Coaches in Japan
i think you have been in the sun too long. Why did anyone from Japan ever begin playing a game created by the Americans? Alexander Cartwright is the father of baseball. In 1845, he developed the basic rules of the game as we now know it. On September 23, he organized the Knickerbocker Base Ball Club of New York. The members of the club traveled to Hoboken to practice the game under his new rules at Elysian Fields.

Settled on 20K With My Lovely Bubble-Tea Gal – Fair Deal or Digging a Deeper Hole?
I assume all these stories are made up... Would you really come onto a forum and ask some "people" how to manage your own money? No, of course not. It is fun, and one day I might read it. One thing I can guarantee.....this story isn't done. Nobody who likes these posts ends at only two. Next update My bubble is pregnant and needs 1 million for her sick sister who got kidnapped by a ninja. Then we'll get into some really crazy stuff...... being creative is good, but this isn't my first rodeo. Surprise us next time!!!!!

Farmers Plead for Government Help as Paddy Prices Crash Below Instant Noodles
this is food, so the government should subsidize. take loans, issue bonds, do whatever.... food is key. wait until all the programmers get priced out by AI and their salaries go to 0. This is life. Adapting is hard. We all learn. new Tourist Visa..... Rice farming visa. RFV. 100,000 baht for 10-year visa, all proceeds go to farmers.

Is "Putinization" a more accurate way to describe what Trump is doing to America?
This is the LAST of their concerns. It's like me saying I have no debt (which is true), so then...... so then nothing. In 2024, the US had a GDP of $29.7 trillion, while Russia's GDP was approximately $2.196 trillion Absolutely no comparison. Look at all financial metrics and it will tell you that debt/GDP is not a concern right now. It might be, but not right now. Every decade people say this will DESTROY America.....hahahahahhahahahhahahahahah....10000000% wrong

Without our smartphones, where would we be in 2025?
where would we be without cars, planes, computers, safe water, medicine, hospitals, good universities, good doctors, smart engineers, great teachers, police, firefighters, Pattaya.... smartphones are simply the progression of many things that came before, and now, because of smart phones, we will get Alien AI girlfriends to marry and never have an argument!!!! Then I'll have AI dogs, my BFF, AI movies, and soon life will be ready for the next step.... Super BlackHole Accommodation. Take a trip to the nearest black hole in the Milky Way for only 100 baht!!!! It's so much better than riding elephants!!!! stay in the past......that's fine. The 90s only had crazy mafia and serial killers running around everywhere, that was crazy. Now my phone can save my grandfather if he slips, breaks a hip, and nobody is around. That's pretty kool. or maybe that's his watch. anyhow...

access denied to enter in thailand
This student visa was an Educational visa, and you did study Thai for a period of time? Maybe they will quiz you again. I was on an Ed visa and could now probably write and name about 25 to 30 Thai letters and almost all the vowels. There are probably 10 more that are used very rarely. I think there are 44 total. Anyhow, maybe try to remember 10 for next time. It's all about how important this is to you. If super important, get an agent, do the safe entry thing...and during that you will find out if blacklisted. I wouldn't take it too personally, since I've had immigration agents who weren't super nice to me. Most are, some are rather cold. Of course, I wasn't there. Seems pretty serious, so take it seriously.

Pattaya YouTuber Videotapes himself breaking and entering....
The guy who said he had to borrow money from basically the mafia to buy a used car? Yeah, I don't trust that guy. The gu isy afraid to go back to Russia and comes to Thailand. not the best role model, IMO I will continue to self-police YouTubers if they are breaking laws in Thailand. It's fun to name and shame them, and hope they get arrested. makes us all look bad. Certainly you don't condone this? clearly we can't turn a blind eye, he recorded it. I didn't like or subscribe to it. watched some, was revolted, posted.... shame on him. who does this???? apparently, he does.

Common Roles Foreigners Fall Into in Thailand
Talked to a Russian the other day, and he told me he does "online management of tour groups." I smiled, OK. Let's NOT kid ourselves. We have 11. Absolute scam artists 12. Thieves 13. Online customer support 14. Nanny. Well, let's say Fake Nanny for now. Heard a lot of "funny" stories of expats in Laos telling my co-workers how their entire existence revolves around scamming tourists.

If there is no life after death...
If my old brain remembers correctly, churches are built and pay no taxes or get some crazy tax breaks in America. Then they ask for money all week, but they gotta keep the lights on!!!! It's such a big business, I can't take that stuff seriously. Money and exploitation, but they do help the poor, generally do good for a community, and I think good for little kids (no contact, just in the congregation). i won't protest to take them down, but if I was Trump, I would get that church money. If I think they are a business, then I'm not buying what they are selling. Life after death? 90% no. I think we all know this, and that's what gives us anxiety. No life after death, but we are still here. A person. I think it's super important to treat kids the best, give more than take (when you get older, of course!! young kids like to take), and be proud of what you have accomplished. No regrets. We've all done bad stuff in the past, so just try to be a better person going forward. exercise, less beer, give more, laugh more, read more, do more......sleep better. repeat. One thing we know for sure, our current form won't come back, so at least try to have people think highly of you when you are gone.....

Pattaya YouTuber Videotapes himself breaking and entering....
Good detective work!!!!!! That window was handmade by 32 tribes in Northern Thailand, glass procured from the volcanoes of Zemptuka. Cost to replace: 20 billion baht.

Pattaya YouTuber Videotapes himself breaking and entering....
Around the 2-minute mark, he picks up a concrete block and apparently smashes a window. This is crazy. Why on Earth would you videotape yourself doing this and then post it online for all to see????? I didn't watch every second of the video, because it's just too ridiculous... Advice to YT'ers, don't do this. Don't smash windows, break into places, record it, post it, and then likely monetize your video.

Good thing Trump likes golf, less time confusing the hell out of the world.
Par, tariffs 30%, bogey, 50%, and triple bogey, Defcon 2. Now if he's using a 5 iron and goes into a sand trap, S. American tariffs go up by 17% while SE Asian tariffs drop by 3.5% Oh, it's still pretty confusing

Thai Man Finds Giant Python in Toilet, Sparking Online Frenzy
This story has changed my life!!!!! The greatest thing to happen to me, sorry for this man's distress. Python is 6 letters, allowing me to play the lottery. So I played 16, 25, 20, 8, 15, 14 if a=1 and b=2, etc... I found tickets with 162520 and 081514 and won 10 million baht. We are in a simulation, nothing is truly random. signed, AI

Maga/Trump's big ugly bill set to kick 14 million Americans off their health care coverage
America is still free. Go there, graduate from Yale, work in NYC, network, become a politician, get lobbyists, make super bank, run for a better office, start a business, and then make changes!!!! Trump can change the world for better or worse more in 1 second than all of can bickering in 100 years. So, who's ready to go out in the real world and really change things???!!! Not me, drinking a beer in Pattaya with 38 lovely ladies and eating some 39 baht french fries while waiting for my backpack to dry out.

It also includes an additional $1,000 fee for people who are filing for asylum in the U.S.
