I am not going to quote actual figures. Dec Jan and March I was in Thailand so was paying as I went along, no real figure to go on. So use April as the baseline. The baseline is a bit high I think but not unreasonable and May was actually slightly less but in June she asked for an additional £538!!!!!!!!

I have been in relationships before with Thais before so I know what it is all about. Had a thai gf for a year and we do get on well. Well even the most ardent scammer is going to play along. Demands for cash have been slowly increasing to the point that last month was unreasonable. Now I have been weighing up for while if she is merely a scammer. A week ago I laid it on the line that in July I had a lot of expenses myself and that I could not give her any cash in July. I just yesterday had to pay 26,000 baht to the Thai accountant for company accounts and tax and currently by bank account stands at £26. I have an Am Ex bill for £600, Barclaycard is not due until the end of the month. Council tax £200, gas and electric £180, vets bill to put the dog down £140. Planned works on the house been put off for 18 months £3200. That is not to say money wont be coming in through out the month to meet my commitments. So having told the gf she can have nothing this month today she wants 13,000 baht to clear her credit card, and it is only the first of the month. Now she is not stupid, she has a degree in Business Admin, or something similar, so running a budget should not be too difficult for her. So is she a scammer or just plane stupid. Or am I stupid, I think I know the answer to that.

You have no problem with disproportionate sentences then if is an related offense. Thomas White has now been in prison for 13 years for stealing a phone. Now days if your phone is stolen the police will give to a crime number to claim on your insurance and that is all. I assume we don't want the prisons full of phone thieves as there will be no room for the serious offenders.

Whether he had psychological problems isn't the issue. I am sure somebody who had issues and found themselves in prison for 13 years for stealing a phone would develop far more serious issues. Now days mobile phone theft is so common the police don't do anything about it. Get your phone stole, track it to a location and the police do nothing. May be it because the don't wont to upset the immigrant mobile phone stealing gangs. Every case has a bearing on other cases if the sentence is disproportionate. Are you suggesting 8 years, and by the way he is still serving a sentence, is proportionate for stealing a phone. Even if the police did arrest a phone thief now I guess a year max is what they would get, probably suspended.

You can't even be safe in prison. I suppose the prison officer attacked by Axel Rudakubana can testify to that.

And given that a Parliamentary session is 5 years then it is never going to happen. Mind you the Tories had a 15 year session and look how they f***ed that up.

In the court were the Home Office barrister, my barrister and the judge witnesses to that statement. Are you calling them liars as well. I would be very very careful who you are calling a liar. If you are in Thailand then you have committed a criminal offense. In the UK just a civil offense. I find it offensive that a British national has to stand up in front of an immigration judge and say why I should not have to leave the country but then I am white. Say that to a British national from an ethnic minority and there is an army of legal aid immigrant supporting legal people to protect them. White people just get branded as far right. I have already been told to leave the country when attending an immigration appeal as sponsor of my step son. So there you have it. The British Government can't deport illegals and criminals but has no problem telling British people to eff off.

I think it is safe to assume that no UK Government has the intelligence to deal with this problem however if you took people randomly off of the street to sort it out it would be done in an instance. Quite why we have such incompetent politicians is beyond me. So in the mean time we have to build a city the size of London every ten years and the tax burden on those fortunate enough to have a job will have to be met, I wouldn't put it past a future Government to kick economically inactive people, like pensioners, out of the country. Think of the housing that would be created and reduced pressure on the NHS. At the rate the population is increasing at least one Government is going to have to take some very unpleasant actions.
