The trouble is I am not sure how I can make a garage understand what it is I want done ie improve the lights. As far as I can see judging by the fall of light on the road by other cars all Thai cars have crappy lights. May be they put cheap under powered bulbs in to save money.

Yes I saw how to polish plastic lenses. To be honest whilst the lenses are faded I don't think that is the issue. Main beam is ok. Just dipped lights are useless.

I am suprised how fast it accelerates. gf also has an Altis and that takes all day to accelerate. The gf is constantly telling me to slow down.

The head light glass is faded and scratched anyway so may be a good idea to change the whole thing.

Early last year I bought a used Altis to use when I am on holiday. Car is ok, very fast, no idea the size of the engine. But the lights are awful. Main beam is ok but dipped is little better that driving on side lights. I dislike driving the car any distance after dark. Where there are no street lights it is dangerous unless I can use the main beam. Can I get an LED conversion? If so are there special lighting suppliers and the likely cost?

Thinking about it arriving passengers shouldn't be mixed with departing passengers so I assume all passengers in transit should be cleared. There was a case a few years back at a UK airport where arriving passengers some how got mixed in with departing passengers. They had to clear the whole terminal then re-clear all the departing passengers. Took hours.

I wonder if people think if they will be one of the small percentage just before they light up a cigarette, drive fast or make a risky overtake, pop down to the shops on the motor bike without a crash helmet, travel in a Thai bus.

The US has an $11.9 billion annual surplus with the UK but it is the UK that is freeloading and needs tariffs applied. China should have tariffs because of the trade deficit. The UK should have tariffs applied because of the trade surplus. The US should trade fairly or not at all. Sorry US you can't have it both ways.
