  1. Power banks are over. The only people still hauling those heavy bricks around are owners of bargain bin phones with batteries so weak they wheeze after you take a dump. Or terminally online nobodies who spend the entire day malignantly glued to their screens, doomscrolling and trolling on AN because they have nothing else going on. If your phone cannot survive a normal day without being hooked up to a portable power source, the problem is not modern technology. It is you.
  2. Yep, he seems to know Eff-All.
  3. The OP is never interested in any existing topics that already cover his questions in full detail and provide all the information he could ever need. His only purpose is to bait people, draw them in, and waste their time. What he wants is attention and engagement, not information. He gets full satisfaction from watching people write long replies he does not care about as the view count rises on another of his redundant threads. That is why he keeps posting these hollow topics designed to trigger long responses. This is simply more of his consistent trolling. Hopefully, nobody takes the bait and falls for the trap.
  4. This is clearly a windup and the text was written by AI. Anyone who doesn't realize that is being very naïve.
  5. Peace nice people and activities are clearly not unique to Thailand. This is another typical post by the OP with no decisive point, written purely to waste people’s time by baiting engagement with something hollow, poorly thought out, and ultimately unenlightening.
  6. I have also noticed that quite a few of his posts seem to disappear shortly after they are published. I assume they are being removed due to all the hostility and personal attacks upon others that violate community guidelines. If they were not taken down, it is hard to imagine how much additional nastiness this site would be laden with. It's the kind of distasteful behavior that's enough to drive the other good people away.
  7. I know, it's so hard to figure out.
  8. You're wasting your time. You'll never get anything of interest, importance or value from him. Only nastiness.
  9. Most of the hateful posts are made by only one user, and the volume of negative emojis and responses to them reflects this.
  10. In his case it is more like obsession, addiction, compulsion, and dependency. It's really his whole life. Not a hobby.
  11. Fantastic. Post your latest physique photos so that we can all be in awe and have something to aspire to.
  12. Yep, British women love it. Pop by my place, I'll shove my toad in your hole and you can tell me how much you love it too.
  13. One with less ink on her torso than a New York City subway car.
  14. You do not say. Do you think there is anyone really like that around? Wow. I do wonder how they would even get through life like that.
  15. Nearly a dozen posts already, not one of them on topic. Just whining, arguing, and politics. Out of courtesy, why don't you at least answer the OP?
  16. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!
  17. When you are paying by the minute like that I would forego the rest and shoot for maximum return on investment. 3 at least, maybe 4...
  18. This reads like it was lifted straight from a budget tourism brochure. Which immediately raises the question of why it is being posted here at all. Most people in this forum have lived in Thailand for decades. They are not first time visitors discovering smiles and street vendors for the first time. Nothing in the description is incorrect. It is just so generic and surface level that it offers no insight, no nuance, and no lived perspective. It is the sort of thing written for people skimming a travel site before their first short holiday. In a forum made up of long term residents and experienced expats, it adds nothing to the conversation and serves no real purpose. I sum it up as bankrupt trolling at best.
  19. Watch out for those IRA pub bombs. They are going off now, nearly every day!
  20. These are good sized papers and good value. 35 Baht per pack with 32 sheets in a pack. Nice raw leaves. Made in Spain. If you buy a few packs I think EMS shipping is free. https://highsostore.com/product/raw-classic-1-1-2-rolling-paper/
  21. All birds are annoying if they hang around too long after the deed is done. But if I had to choose one type... black birds are the best!
  22. Me to ChatGPT: How would you describe the persona of the author of the following text: (OP was shared with ChatGPT) ChatGPT to Me: The author of this text seems to be an introspective and somewhat self-aware individual with a strong sense of humor and a touch of cynicism. They express a playful, slightly eccentric way of thinking, combining references to literature (Kafka and Hašek) with reflections on their own life and the lives of others. Here are some key points that help describe the author: Intellectual and Literary: The author references literary figures like Franz Kafka and Jaroslav Hašek, suggesting a deep interest in literature and philosophy. They even describe a combination of the two authors' styles ("Hašekianly-Kafkaesque"), which implies they're not only well-read but also enjoy mixing humor with existential or absurdist themes. Reflective and Self-Aware: The author frequently reflects on their own past behavior, especially regarding their time on TV (perhaps an online forum or a community). The mention of "pedantic" posts, regrets about 2025, and the promise of "turning over a new leaf" in 2026 shows a person capable of self-critique and change. This suggests they are thoughtful, even if a bit sarcastic at times. Humorous and Cynical: The author’s humor is dry and sometimes self-deprecating, as seen in phrases like "not a bad thing to be a simpleton" or their reflections on being "powerless in bed." There’s also a certain irony in their remarks about people “blocking” them and their resignation about it. They seem to enjoy blending humor with seriousness, especially when talking about larger themes like cynicism versus sincerity. Complex and Contradictory: The author presents themselves as someone who can both embrace simplicity ("Good Soldier") and also critique the complexities of life ("Kafkaesque world"). This suggests they might have a tendency to see the world in a nuanced, sometimes paradoxical way. They don’t seem to shy away from contradictions, as shown by their self-admitted cynicism and the desire for sincerity in 2026. Engaged in Group Dynamics but Detached: There's a clear awareness of the groups they interact with ("Princeton-Pattaya group," "Valley-Girls group"), but at the same time, the author distances themselves from the "grouping" and labels. They seem to observe others more than fully integrate, suggesting a mix of social awareness with a sense of detachment. Hopeful but Jaded: While the author expresses hope for personal growth in 2026, they also seem aware of how fleeting or uncertain that hope might be ("I will not be missed..."). This gives them a slightly jaded, but still hopeful, vibe. Overall, this person appears to be intellectual, reflective, and humorous, with a deep-seated cynicism tempered by a desire for genuine self-improvement. They likely enjoy deep, often complex conversations, but also enjoy taking a step back and laughing at the absurdity of it all. CONCLUSION: It seems to me that you're simply squandering your precious time sharing these sparkling pearls of babble on AseanNow. Honestly, you should be out there joining the circus, where your talents could shine like the brightest star under the big top. And perhaps while you're at it, embark on a meaningful, deep, and entirely fulfilling relationship with an AI chat-bot, one that will undoubtedly appreciate every single byte of your glorious essence and provide you the level of appreciation you rightfully deserve. This forum? Hardly worthy of your intellect, mate. It's a realm far beneath your capacity, a mere blip on the radar of your true potential. A place where words go to be buried in the sands of mediocrity. But fear not, my dear friend, for you surely deserve far more than this pitiful little corner of the digital world. The circus and an AI chat-bot of your dreams await you.
  23. The clip linked below appears to show an Arab or Indian man in Pattaya getting pepper sprayed in the face as he tries to flee in a taxi, then whacked with women's shoes, knocked down, and kicked all over by a group of angry transgenders. Pattaya videos like this do not seem so rare on Instagram. It makes you wonder how often something like this plays out for Arab and Indian “nightlife” tourists down there. If only there were some simple way to avoid getting maced and curb pounded during your beach holiday to paradise? https://www.instagram.com/reel/DS-ORWHExzI
