Nice deflection. You raised the issue of global cooling. And it turned out to be complete BS.

The prestigious agweb. You'll note that none of the evidence about global cooling predictions is taken from actual scientific research. Just from the media. Or maybe Time magazine is your idea of a scientific journal?

I'm still waiting for people who believe that BS about those predictions to wise up. THE MYTH OF THE 1970s GLOBAL COOLING SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS An enduring popular myth suggests that in the 1970s the climate science community was predicting “global cooling” and an “imminent” ice age, an observation frequently used by those who would undermine what climate scientists say today about the prospect of global warming. A review of the literature suggests that, on the contrary, greenhouse warming even then dominated scientists' thinking as being one of the most important forces shaping Earth's climate on human time scales. More importantly than showing the falsehood of the myth, this review describes how scientists of the time built the foundation on which the cohesive enterprise of modern climate science now rests. https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/bams/89/9/2008bams2370_1.xml?utm_source=chatgpt.com The global cooling myth https://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2005/01/the-global-cooling-myth

Echolalia much?

Simply moronic. During the dry seasons it's the meltwater from gradually melting glaciers that sustains life.

Earth's glaciers 'will not survive the 21st century' scientists warn
Actually, during the most recent period when antarctca supported forests there were no glaciers. The average temperature on Earth was 10 to 14 degrees Celsius higher than it is now thanks to much higher levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Tell that to scientists who study vast ecosystems and the 2 billion people that depend on meltwater. Your understanding of evolution is seriously deficient.

More nonsense from you. The Critical Role of Glaciers in Global Water Systems and the Urgency of Climate Action The Third Pole encompasses a vast, high-altitude region centred on the Tibetan Plateau and surrounding mountain ranges, including the Himalayas, Hindu Kush, Karakoram, Pamir, and Tien Shan—together covering more than one million square miles. It is termed the Third Pole because it holds the largest reserve of freshwater outside the Arctic and Antarctic. Approximately 16% to 25% of the global population depends on meltwater from this region. Within the Himalayas alone, there are an estimated 15,000 glaciers. Their meltwater feeds several of Asia’s major rivers—such as the Indus, Ganges, Brahmaputra, Yamuna, Mekong, Salween, Irrawaddy, Yangtze, and Yellow River—supporting the freshwater needs of about 1.3 to 1.5 billion people downstream. The gradual storage and release of this water underpins agriculture, hydropower, and potable water supplies. https://www.gwp.org/en/GWP-Caribbean/WE-ACT/news-page/the-critical-role-of-glaciers-in-global-water-systems-and-the-urgency-of-climate-action/ And the loss of glacier will destroy huge ecosystems: Glaciers are melting faster than ever, threatening biodiversity and ecosystem stability worldwide Now, a new paper published in Nature Reviews Biodiversity has shed further light on how glacial retreat drives unmitigated changes to ice, water, and land—and how their loss threatens the health of our planet. The research review analyzed more than 160 research papers focused on specific aspects of glacial retreat to reveal the big picture: global impact on biodiversity and ecosystem function showing that thousands of species that have evolved to live in these unique ecosystems are threatened by the rapid melting of glaciers. https://phys.org/news/2025-05-glaciers-faster-threatening-biodiversity-ecosystem.html Here's a link to the abstract of the Nature Reviews Biodiversity article: https://www.nature.com/articles/s44358-025-00049-6

Carlson gave softball interview to Nick Fuentes, a Neo-Nazi
Fuentes’ abhorrent views have propelled him to far-right celebrity status, and he presides over a movement of “groypers”—young, highly online incels, neo-Nazis, and racist <deleted>posters who follow him. Over the years, Fuentes has been crystal clear about his ultimate goal: dragging mainstream conservatism into the bowels of the far right, to a place where all Republicans feel that they can throw up a Hitler salute or drop the N-word without consequence. And this week, Fuentes edged ever closer to that goal. He did so thanks to Tucker Carlson, who had Fuentes as a guest on his show. The segment included Fuentes—without challenge from Carlson—opining on “the Jews,” who he called “unassimilable,” and rolling critiques of Israel into antisemitic conspiracies. https://archive.ph/fDAa5#selection-1055.0-1073.311 He's also given softball interviews to apologists for Hitler and to Vladimir Putin. Putin actually ridiculed Carlson for going so limp and soft on him.

Can Comey and James find out if Lindsey Halligan lied?
We got a sense this week of how that could play out. Included in James Comey’s latest round of motions to dismiss his indictment is one that seeks disclosure of the grand jury proceedings, which are usually kept secret. In that motion, filed Thursday, the former FBI director’s lawyers wrote that the known facts to date raise a “significant risk that irregularities in the grand jury process may have influenced the grand jury to return an indictment.” https://archive.ph/MFdmg#selection-1217.0-1229.157 The short answer is it can be done. It's not easy, but, among other things, given the bizarre nature of the evidence and how it was represented in the charge, it should have a good shot at success. And it could even lead to Halligan's disbarment if it's shown that she was lying.

It's funny you accuse me of lying when it's Trump who's lying. Trump says he doesn't know about it and then starts talking about it, To you that's not a lie. It is to laugh. As for your words have meaning remark, there's a word called synonym. it has a meaning. You should look it up.

US Prosecutors Suspended for Telling The Truth
It's not the leftist lunatics who are complaining about Jan 6. It's the right wing lunatics here who are complaining about the alleged unjust treatment of the rioters. It's the right wing government of Donald Trump that fired 2 prosecutors after they called the Jan 6 rioters a mob. You and yours need to get a grip on reality and accept the fact that these rioters forced their way into the Capitol with the purpose of stopping the Constitutionally prescribed transfer of power. Outside the Capitol building they were actually chanting"Hang Mike Pence." Pence was still in the building when they broke their way through. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/watch-pence-made-it-to-secure-location-on-jan-6-barely-missing-the-rioters-house-committee-says

New poll: 56% of Americans think Trump is a dangerous dictator
I lied because I said radical instead of severe? Lying is about intent to deceive. Is severe right somehow crucially different in meaning from radical right? And if you listened to the speech you would know that Trump was disavowing project 2025 because it was a product of the severe right. This clip opens with him saying "You know is going around trying to make me sound extreme..." and in contrast to that he cites the severe right. The fact is that you accused me lying when I wrote that Trump said he didn't know about project 2025. Now your claims of lying depend not on the truth of what I've said but a small error in transcription. The fact is that Trump explicitly claimed he didn't know about Project 2025. And all your pettifogging won't change that.

Judge HumiliateTrump’s Top Border Goon With His Own Words
U.S. District Judge Sara L. Ellis said she was stunned to see Donald Trump’s most notorious immigration enforcer boast about how he was looking forward to nightly check-ins in her courtroom—hours before government lawyers argued that the very same check-ins would be “extraordinarily disruptive.”... In a court filing on Wednesday evening, lawyers for the Trump administration appealed the ruling and said forcing Bovino, 55, to check in daily would cause “irreparable harm” to immigration enforcement efforts. But their claims had already been undermined by Bovino, who gave an interview to Fox News earlier that day to “answer his critics,” telling host Harris Faulkner: “If [the judge] wants to meet with me every day… I look forward to meeting with that judge to show her exactly what’s happening.” https://www.thedailybeast.com/judge-humiliates-donald-trumps-top-immigration-goon-gregory-bovino-with-his-own-words-on-fox-news/

New poll: 56% of Americans think Trump is a dangerous dictator
And to make it even worse the person who is the chief author of project 2025, Russell Vought, was appointed by Trump to be the head of OMB, the Office of Management and Budget. A very powerful position.

Here a a few quotes from that video. Start at 2O seconds in. "Some on the right, severe right, came up with this project 25...they're sort of the opposite of the radical left... I don't know what the hell it is this project 25" Are you too gutless to take a look at the video? the excerpt I've quote takes only 25 seconds. https://www.c-span.org/clip/campaign-2024/donald-trump-disavows-project-2025/5124900

Trump calls for Senate Republicans to scrap the filibuster rule
President Donald Trump called on Thursday for the removal of the Senate’s filibuster rule, to bypass a Democratic roadblock during a government shutdown now in its 30th day. The filibuster is the Senate rule for agreement by 60 of its 100 members to pass most legislation. Republicans hold a 53-47 majority in the Senate and a 219-213 majority in the House of Representatives. “It is now time for the Republicans to play their “TRUMP CARD,” and go for what is called the Nuclear Option — Get rid of the Filibuster, and get rid of it, NOW,” Trump wrote on social media. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-calls-republicans-scrap-senate-filibuster-end-shutdown-rcna241042 Actually, I agree with Trump on this one. A common complaint about Congress is that it's a do-nothing organization. The chief culprit is the filibuster. Originally, I believe it was put in place to protect against anti-segregationist legislation. Anyway, whatever the reason, it's now an obstacle. And one thing to consistently note is that whatever party is out of power, defends it vociferously. The Democrats almost got rid of it when they were in control but the DINO, Kyrsten Sinema opposed it. Maybe the DINO Joe Manchin as well. Not sure about that.

He also said that Project 2025 was a creation of the radical right.
