Democrat Mikie Sherrill wins New Jersey's governor's race
Real Clear Politics polling average had Sherrill winning by 3 points. She won by 13. You just can't trust those lying leftist pollsters. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/governor/general/2025/new-jersey/sherrill-vs-ciattarelli

Pennsylvanians Vote to Retain All 3 Dem Justices
Pa. election results: All 3 Democratic Supreme Court justices win retention races Pennsylvanians have voted to retain three Democratic state Supreme Court justices, granting them additional terms on the bench after an unusually contentious, multimillion-dollar election. Republicans and their allies had hoped to defeat the justices and put their seats on the 2027 ballot, opening a path to flip the court. The Democratic majority has handed down critical rulings over the past decade, upholding mail voting and throwing out a congressional map that it found unfairly benefited the GOP. https://www.spotlightpa.org/news/2025/11/pa-election-results-supreme-court-retention-donohue-dougherty-wecht/

New poll: 56% of Americans think Trump is a dangerous dictator
Hardcore Trump supporters often cite this phrase to excuse Trump: Trump voters take Trump seriously, not literally. Their mistake.

And I wouldn't be at all surprised if you offer the alleged results as evidence.

True. But even in Trump's victory of 2024, the Republicans actually lost a few seats in the House. And in 2018 the Republicans lost a massive amounts of seats in the House.

The same kind of nonsense was directed against Bill Clinton when he raised taxes. How did the economy do back then?

I know that there's U.S. Congressional elections coming up in one year. Apparently, that's something you don't know. Which is a massive piece of ignorance.

Democrat Mikie Sherrill wins New Jersey's governor's race
He emphasized getting rid of dangerous criminals among the undocumented. Latinos sour on Trump over tariffs, the economy, immigration raids President Trump made historic gains for the GOP among Latino voters last year, but polls and other indicators suggest their support for him is falling amid growing anger over his handling of the economy and immigration. Why it matters: Latinos' rising discontent could mean trouble for the GOP heading into the 2026 midterms, and undermine Republican redistricting efforts — namely in Texas — partly aimed at exploiting the party's recent gains among such voters https://www.axios.com/2025/09/26/latinos-trump-discontent-economy-immigration Trump’s approval on immigration, economy declines among Hispanic voters: Poll President Trump’s favorability among Hispanic voters has dropped by 19 percentage points over the past 10 months as the White House charts an aggressive approach to immigration enforcement and economic reform, according to a poll. Twenty-seven percent of Hispanic voters said they approve of the way Trump is handling his job while 73 percent disapproved, according to The Associated Press-NORC Center poll results released Friday. .. Approximately a quarter of Hispanic adults surveyed said they support deporting all immigrants living in the U.S. illegally, while roughly half of the respondents said they oppose the policy and others said they don’t have an opinion. https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5572356-trump-approval-hispanic-voters-poll/

Most Americans would know that there's a Congressional election coming up in a year. (Maybe I should write possibly coming up in a year?)

A demotion? How many politicians have gone from the House of Representatives straight to the Presidency? What's moreon the local level, Democrats trounced the Republicans. How does that translate into a likely loss for her in 2026?
-
Republican whipping in Virginia
But as another thread shows, the Republicans got brutalized on a more local level. Including, apparently, some seats that were considered safe for them.

Democrat Mikie Sherrill wins New Jersey's governor's race
What's really significant in this election is how the Hispanic vote went. Hispanics in NJ are concentrated in the NE part of the state.Hudson and Passaic are the most heavily Hispanic. In 2024 Passaic actually went for Trump by 50% to 47% In the current election it went for Sherrill 57% to 42%. Hudson County, in 2024 went 62% to 34% in favor of Harris. In 2025 it went 74% to 24% in favor of Sherrill. This is in keeping with polls showing that Hispanic Americans are not happy with the way Trump is going about deporting undocumented aliens. They were under the impression that he would be going after dangerous criminals. It looks like they are well disabused of that belief now.

Blue Wave Rebuilds VA House: Democrats Soar to at Least 64 seats
Democrats managed to increase their majority in the Virginia House of Delegates, moving from 51 to 64 seats (with one race still undecided as of 11 p.m.) as voters turned out Tuesday in a pivotal election for control of the chamber... Turnout surged in several suburban swing areas, reflecting continued polarization over national issues like abortion and democracy as well as local concerns over housing, health care and school funding. Democratic leaders credited what they described as a disciplined, issue-focused campaign that emphasized protecting abortion access and investing in public services, while Republicans leaned on messages about parental rights, public safety and economic management. https://virginiamercury.com/2025/11/04/blue-wave-rebuilds-the-house-democrats-soar-to-at-least-64-seats-in-virginia/ Looks like the worst case projection for Republicans was far exceeded.

Just because it never has happened is no proof that it's unsustainable. If someone in the 1930's were to use your kind of logic, that would be an argument against the percentage being above 8%

The Election Crybabies are Back
Republicans Reprise Unfounded Claims of Widespread Election Interference Prominent conservatives, including the president, sounded familiar alarms about voter suppression and other efforts to manipulate the vote on Election Day, without presenting evidence. https://archive.ph/r2rsU#selection-551.0-555.184

And you keep on claiming that 23% is unsustainable. It's only unsustainable at the current rate of taxation.
