US submarine captain gave Iran crew two warnings
MILAN 2026 was a fleet review; a bit of an annual party for sailors from various navies to show off their seamanship. While it was Fleet Review, its also an exercise, as particpants are required to form up. It was Indian navy requirements that no vessal was to carry ammunition; a simple safety requirement. https://www.ifrmilan26.com/ Here's the mad thing, and it says a lot about the common bond between all sailors of whatever flag; there was a significant number of shore activities, where crews would have met, certainly bridge officers might have socialised to an extent, over a few beers/G&Ts/cokes. The Iranians and Americans would have some commonality, seeing as both Navies are dry (alcohol free). Its no surprise the Americans would have attempted to warn the Iranian ship, and likely signaled the Sri Lankans.

US submarine captain gave Iran crew two warnings
Point of fact, it wasn't a IRGC ship. If it was a IRGC ship it would not have been called IRIS Dena (Islamic Republic of Iran Ship). Iran has two armed services, the IRGC (the Sepeh) and the Regular forces, the Artesh. The IRGC maintains a seperate naval force, mostly fast boats. Part of the American Government's reasoning is that the Artesh seizes power from the Mullahs. The Iranian Navy was established in 1939, but the IRGC Navy was established in 1989. Outside of their drone carrier, the largest vessal in the IRGS is about 600 tons.

That Oslo explosion/bang. Some broken glass. Norwegian Rossers aren't completely convinced it was an act of terrorism.

Oil Surges After Gulf Production Warning
How did you come up with that? https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/oil-and-petroleum-products/imports-and-exports.php 8.33 m barrels per day, thats 1 billion barrels per 4 months. Back in January 2025 https://www.whitehouse.gov/remarks/2025/01/the-inaugural-address/ But in the Big Beautiful Budget bill, funding for the SPR was cut by almost 87%. So the timing of this "Military Operation" is either based on hubris, the idea that it will be over quickly, or that indeed Rubio didn't mis-speak, and that it is in fact Israel that is now dictating US foreign policy.

Inappropriate language to describe the war/military operations dead. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/03/07/trump-dover-dignified-transfer-soldiers-iran/ Evolution of man. Presidential sloppy salute. Vance is much more respectful. Apparently the Chinese baseball cap (on sale for $55) was worn because he was worried about his hair.

US did not share details with the UK before attacking Iran
Based on what you read in an article written by a spotty 20 year old. Getting sick of these pseudo-Patriots like you continuously denigrating the Armed Forces at every opportunity. Its far too <deleted> late, because unlike Reagan, Bush, this President didn't bother to consult with allies about what on earth he was doing. He just regards us as vassals and real estate. British forces should only be used to defend and protect British interests. America has been reckless in exposing 300,000 Britons to harm and death. They don't care, and are in cahoots with the marxist MEK, because they are just so dumb. Its going to be the ruin of all of us.

Oil Surges After Gulf Production Warning
https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/US-Not-Planning-To-Tap-Strategic-Petroleum-Reserve-Immediately.html Evidence of lack of planning. You launch a war that you knew would be disruptive to global oil supplies, and lead to inflation. But you didn't build your reserves up to give you a shot at mitigating impacts. This is equivalent to not stocking up with water ahead of that hurricane.

United States and Israel Launch Strikes on Iran
So apparently the US-Israeli objective is to destroy Iran as a functioning country, letting it fracture into a series of failed ethnic microstates, constantly at war with each other over water. Millions will die. Somalia x 1000. The Iranian strategy is to destroy the GCC economies; expatriates flee, destroy desalination plants, close down the Straits of Hormuz, starve the remaining population, uprisings and overthrow of the various fake monarchy. Millions will die but Pax Islamica established. Collapse of economies in Asia. Of course neither plan might not work, so someone needs to force the issue, and only one side can. And that side is on a strict timetable to get this war "done". We worried about Russia being the first to use nuclear weapons since 1945, but there is a possibility of an inpatient US, struck by hubris, going there. Or worse, a US trying to desperately preserve these GCC states. GCC-Saud investments are disproportionally invested in large cap companies, tech and finance. And will Europe sit idly by as their own economies are destroyed by the impacts of crashing economies in APAC? They might intervene. This has the makings of a complete mess. Looking for which bolt hole in the world I can go to, to sit this out. Where is JD Vance?

There is other sources of oil, so I guess for the rest of us, life will get a lot more expensive, more of us will be out of work, evicted, online drop shipment incomes dry up, inability to meet Thai visa requirements, lose homes etc. The Middle Eastern Airlines will of course be toast, and no one will want those A380s with the $20k suites, any more than they wanted the Thai A380s now rotting at BKK. A Thought Leadership piece explaining that US Govt intervention in the shipping insurance market might not work. https://www.kennedyslaw.com/en/thought-leadership/article/2026/war-with-iran-implications-for-the-insurance-market/ More on how electronic intereferance in comms is impacting shipping https://insidegnss.com/gnss-interference-complicates-navigation-as-hormuz-shipping-disruption-deepens/ It underlines how utterly dependant our lives are on data streams. Reportedly, target selection in Iran used basically Claude AI, possibly an unlicensed version. The DoW has basically blacklisted Anthropic, because of its refusal to acede to DoW's requests how its integrated in AI-enabled autonomous weapons system. The DoW basically wanted SkyNet without human intervention. Mounds of crushed human skulls by July 4 2028.

I don't think they will be targeted. Waste of munitiopns, as these can be relatively easily repaired. The longer the tanks are full, the longer the Kuwaiti oil fields are shutdown, causing damage. When oil wells are shut in under reservoir pressure, the formation can suffer permanent damage. Asphaltene precipitation, fines migration, clay swelling, and pressure depletion can reduce long term recovery rates by 15-30 percent even after wells reopen. The 1991 Gulf War shut downs caused 10-25 percent recovery loss in some Kuwaiti fields. A sustained shutdown of the Arab oil fields could destroy their economies. The rulers of these States are not hanging from lamp posts because they basically bribe the populace, with free houses, free healthcare, free schools, non-jobs. There is a general understanding there is an AI bubble, and its going to burst. Its such that its sucking nearly all of the investment in areas like healthcare. Truely extraordinary whats going on. This war will likely hasten that burst, as the Arabs pull their investments from the US, and its certainly killed the idea that the Arab economies will move from oil-based to data economies. Missile batteries for data centres? You'd hope the American battle assessment are correct/truthful (compared to other wars, the reportage from the government has literally be sensationalist as they post videos that mix footage with Call of Duty with Pokemon....). At the moment people are banking on the reported fall in Iranian missile/drone (the stats provided seem to be only from the US government, not independant source, may need to take a closer look), being due to the loss of $500 drone launchers. These don't look terribly hard to make, and probably can be fabbed up by any truck body workshop. https://en.defence-ua.com/weapon_and_tech/wsj_states_iranian_kamikaze_drones_used_by_russians_creates_new_dangers_for_ukraines_troops-4257.html

Don't forget the slice of orange in his beer. When asked why did have a slice of orange in his beer, the answer was "vitamins". The question that arises is what a 100 year old bladder does during a marathon.

Monstrous allies
A viewpoint strangely reminiscent of the Goebbels maxim Better dead than red. But its not up to your country whether they live or die. Americans aren't God (or really all that Godly), no matter how many hands are laid on the President.

Kuwait just cut oil production. Not because Iran bombed a single Kuwaiti oil well. Not because sanctions were imposed. Not because OPEC ordered a reduction. Because the tanks are full and there is nowhere to put the oil. Kuwait produced 2.8 million barrels per day before February 28. Every day since, that oil has flowed from the wells into onshore storage tanks. Every day since, zero tankers have loaded at Kuwaiti export terminals because the Strait of Hormuz is closed to commercial shipping. JPMorgan estimated an 18 day storage runway. Today is day 18. The tanks are full. The math completed itself. Kuwait declared force majeure and began curtailing production. Iraq cut 1.5 million barrels per day last week for the same reason. The same storage arithmetic is now counting down in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. Effectively, an oil blockade is in place because of GPS intereferance in a war zone. https://shanakaanslemperera.substack.com/p/the-invisible-siege-how-insurance?r=6p7b5o&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true&_src_ref=t.co

Trump’s Iran war splits Europe’s Far Right
There's a better definition. For this mob, if its not muslims, its hindus. If its not hindus, its Africans. You work your way through the list until you reach the group they really don't like, and that's the Jews. Ultimately, for this lot, its always someone else's fault. It's an old story. Just look at the rubbish that came out of the mouth of Jean-Marie Le Pen when the old bugger was still breathing. His successors got very clever in not letting the mask drop. But occasionally the mask drops. They are snakes in the grass. https://www.thejc.com/news/uk/reform-uk-probes-campaign-manager-over-alleged-antisemitic-posts-ieiluice https://www.washingtonjewishweek.com/take-it-from-a-german-jew-the-afd-and-its-supporters-arent-making-jews-safer/ Suddenly, they are all pro-Israel. They already do. Huge US B-1 bomber arrives at UK base as tensions with Iran escalate
The UK is preparing legislation to proscribe the IRGC, in addition to the existing sanctions. It was the last Conservative government in 2023 who pointedly refused to proscribe the IRGC, essentially an arm of the Iranian state. At the time, Labour, lead by SKS and a handful of Tories called form teh proscribing of the IRGC using an amendment to the 2000 Terrorism Act. The government at the time favoured widening sanctions. David Lammy in parliament called for proscription. The opposition to proscribing the IRGC came from within the FCO. The fact is when in opposition, its easy for political parties to call for various actions against states. But when in government, even if the incoming minister was a member of the Privy Council, he or she will likely be presented with facts that are not in the public eye. Even so, the civil service had apparently briefed David Lammy (he was shadow Foreign Secretary) about the issues. The FCO may have pointed to lines of communication between London and Tehran, possibly lines of communication that the EU doesn't have when they proscribed the IRGC. A quote from within the FCO, to Politico ran with: Its a fair point; if the IRGC is proscribed, then why aren't you calling for the Russian FSB and GRU organisations to be proscribed, on the grounds they have committed terrorist acts on British site? Opponants of proscribing state its effectively virtue signalling, providing no advantage, and creating huge complications (the loss of the background channels, and the legal implications. If we designate members of another state's military as terrorists, and this is legla, then what protections do our armed forces have in wartime. the Geneva Convention is rendered worthless, if captured soldiers are treated as terrorists. This goes to the heart of the Laws of Armed Combat. Remember the Royal Marines; Royal Navy boarding party who were seized and held. If you declare an organisation to be a terrorist organisation, this means that any contact with it becomes a criminal offence. Diplomatic communications would cease overnight. Proscibing the IRGC would be pointless virtue signalling. People don't like to hear this, but Western and Iranian militaries have actually worked with each other for years, mostly on the quiet. In Afghanistan, Iran shared intelligence with Western Powers on the Taliban, and at one point provided training assistance to the ANA. British forces did go into Iran a few times, with Iranian cooperation, as part of anti-narcotics operations. In Iraq, during fighting against ISIS, the US provided air support to Iranian ground units, notably during second Battle of Tikrit. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-29079052 Of course, such cooperation waxed and waned. However, even presently, there was revealed a surprising amount of cooperation between the US Navy and the ship they just sank off Sri Lanka. The IRIS Dena was returning from MILAN 2026. https://www.ifrmilan26.com/ Almost 100 vessels were to take part in a fleet review, requiring a close degree of cooperation between crews. Besides the Indians, unarmed ships from Australia, Iran, Mynamar, South Korea, Russia, Japan, South Africa, the Phillippines, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, the Seychelles. The US was to be represented by the USS Pinckney, which withdrew just days before due to "emergent reasons" replaced instead by a US Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft. Its not beyond the realm of possibility that at the various shore social events, American and Iranian officers might have mixed. During WW2 there was an unstated bond between mariners of the warring nations. When German U-Boats failed to cover survivors, things were said about how criminal it was. It was ent irely normal for ships to remain on station during a battle to rescue survivors of an enemy ship. I find it rather disgusting the comments of some congratulating the US on sending "Jihadis" to the bottom of the ocean. Those Iranian matelots were not jihadis. They were sailors. They were part of thr Artesh, who many on the American side are ready to take over the Iranian government. There are still British people in Iran who need representation. There is a couple who were cycling around the world currently languishing in prison. However the FCO mandarin objections may be rendered rather moot if they are concluding that there is a danger, or possibility (depending on your perspective) of the Iranian state ceasing to exist. Therefore the IRGC will cease to exist. The UK will then write off any British citizens who are in Iranian custody. There is no credible Iranian opposition in waiting. The largest Iranian resistance group is the MEK, a bunch of marxist cut throats. Reza Pahlavi is a joke. He wants to reinstate the Peacock throne with some touchy feely democracy. I suspect he's just saying that for the financial support. He dad was a thief, bluntly. He brought the Revolution down on himself by having goons torture and kill in his name. Trump might have someone else lined up who is not a Shah

New Epstein documents surface with unverified claims involving Trump
Well there's released to lawmakers and released to the public. You're right that in the public domain, releasing offensive images would not be correct. Literally if you click a link and open an image, you are automatically guilty of child pornography. There is no defence, only mitigation. In opening the image, you are automatically copying (reproducing) the image. Its what caught Paul Gadd. But that's not what has happened, is it? There is select redaction of text and images. Some people's identities are revealed, others are not. Why do you think that has happened? FBI inefficiency; Kash Patel apparently tasked the FBI's specialist unit on Iranian terrorism on this, and then because they made apparent mistakes, he sacked them, literally days before the Iran War was not declared. Perhaps though, he wasn't party to that level of conversation. Still, counter terrorism agents tasked to a child abuse enquiry doesn't seem appropriate. I read of the police officers involved in such investigations are shaken by what they see, and suffer because of it. Needs a certain kind of righteous determination to be involved in such cases. COIN agents, on the other hand, are used to seeing gore photos, post terrorist outrage. Release everything to lawmakers certainly.

More Epstein Files Released Claims Trump Raped Minor
If there was nothing to the allegations, which were part of a case where the woman in question was awarded damages, then why the obfuscation 10 years later? Rape cases are unlike many other criminal investigations, in that they often boil down to one person's word against another's. There are often no witnesses. Any physical injuries incurred can have another cause. The injuries themselves can rapidly heal. Other physical evidence, such as semen/DNA, is circumstantial; presence of semen does not provie rape. Additionally such evidence can rapidly degrade and is highly prone to cross-contamination. In most criminal cases, the behaviour or actions by the defendant prior to the alleged crime are not taken into account; these things are often revealed at sentencing. The notable exception is in the case of sexual offences. Federal Rules of Evidence (FRE) 413-415 allows evidence of a defendant's past sexual assaults to be admitted to prove they have a propensity to commit such acts. In addition, there are State Rules of Evidence also allowing such evidence to be introduced. In many cases, as in the case of Harvey Weinstein, the Judge has the discretion to determine if such evidence should be admitted or not. On the face of it, the current President has a very high sexual drive. In private conversation with Billy Bush he admitted to "grabbing women by the pussy", which would amount to admitting sexual assault (at the very least, depending on the definition of rape). IN the Presidental campaign he apologised for such remarks. He has commited multiple acts of adultery, and has fathered children with many women. By his own admission, he enjoys sexual liasions with prostitutes (Stormy Daniels, she gets paid for having sex). Over the last 50 years, there have been at least 28 allegations of sexual misconduct against him. The late Ivana Trump made allegations, which obviously now can never be proven. Jill Harth made strong allegations, leading to a civil case that was settled, in much the same way as the former Prince Andrew settled. The Summer Zervos case I guess is still up in the air.. In a civil case, so a lower evidenteral bar than a criminal case, he was convicted of sexual assault. Alva Johnson sued, but withdrew precisely the judge refused to enter into record prior cases of sexual misconduct. There are further public allegations that never made it to court. A Reddit provides links, make your own mind up etc You are quite correct that the allegations were withdrawn, but the complainant stated that she did because of death threats and because she would not be believed. Some would say "she would say that, wouldn't she". It is in the power of a prosecutor to pursue allegations even if the complainant withdraws.

US and Kurdish militias weigh new front against Iran
Pro-Western? When it suits them. The PKK is strictly Marxist-Leninist. The KDP consider themselves victors in the Kurdish civil war. The KDP who run Iraqi Kurdistan have a track record of blocking voting when it suits them. They are not democrats. I suspect encouraging the formation of a Kurdish state will result is a failed narco-state in perpetual conflict with its neighbours, like the Karen in Burma. https://www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analysis/dim-future-kurdistan The Kurds aren't all that poor; that sympathy shuld be reserved for the Karen people, the South Sudanese, Biafra.
