Thailand Tackles US Tariffs: Plans for Trade Reform Unveiled
edwinchester replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"Efforts will be made to increase imports, including raw materials for animal feed and potentially meat products..." Wonderful, Thailand can replace it's homegrown beef full of growth hormones and it's chlorinated chicken with US beef full of growth hormones and it's chlorinated chicken.- 35 replies

My dad spent the final years of life with dementia. It was incredibly sad and terrifying watching his mental decline. He would wander off out of the house having no idea who we were or where he was. He would have ferocious fights in his own home with entirely imaginary Intruders. I am taking nothing at face value just remarking that dementia victims wandering away from their home and getting into trouble is all too common as they have limited understanding of what they may be doing.

Seen pigeons in many Thai hospitals, nothing to worry about. Snakes, now they're altogether different. Guy at a hospital near to us was placed on a gurney and bitten, he was lucky to survive. -
"Despite the earthquake hitting a staggering 8.2 on the Richter scale, only one incomplete building collapsed in Chatuchak." Is the writer suggesting the earthquake still measured 8.2 in Bangkok when the epicenter was hundreds of kms away? Very misleading article, if an 8.2 earthquake was actually centered on BKK the destruction would be catastrophic.

Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside

Kanchanaburi does have several fault lines, fortunately minor, along which quakes do happen. Biggest quake we had was a 5.5 maybe about 10 years ago. Centred on Sisawat up on the Burmese border. That one made the news as it also got the high-rise blocks in Bangkok swaying. Bangkok really does have a major problem being located in an area susceptible to liquefaction during a strong quake. -

Man Shoots Ex-Wife Before Taking His Own Life
edwinchester replied to Georgealbert's topic in Central Thailand News
"The two children now face a heartbreaking future, as family members arrange funeral rites for both victims." The shooter is not a victim and the pos should be taken straight to the local landfill.
