  1. Wifey came home after voting at the recent election complaining of rampant corruption. Apparently somebody had used her name to claim 1000 bht on offer from one of the candidates.
  2. https://www.bangkokhospital.com/en/pattaya/doctor/anna-jaruwarn-m-d
  3. A year on year decrease in tourist numbers of 7% is not sustained interest neither is it recovery and growth in tourism. Only in cloud cuckoo land could such a decline be touted as a robust recovery.
  4. Scary, I stopped at flickering light in case I <deleted> myself.
  5. How about GB News, hardly pro-EU or anti Trump? https://www.gbnews.com/lifestyle/cars/tesla-sales-elon-musk-electric-cars
  6. Reuters is one of the most respected and credible news agencies in the world. Perhaps you can show me some evidence that Elon Musk's association with Donald Trump had no effect on Tesla sales as I'm having no luck finding any.
  7. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/teslas-brand-loyalty-collapsed-after-musk-backed-trump-data-shows-2025-08-04/ This suggests that it did.
  8. No doubt Elon Musk's support of President Trump and the heading up of his DoGE agency had a significant impact on Tesla sales over much of the world. Be interesting to see how long that millstone will weigh on Tesla now that Musk appears to have severed ties with Trump.
  9. Didn't the comfortable city dwellers in Bangkok vote overwhelmingly for Future Forward and their proposal for constitutional reform at the last election?
  10. He's going to build that fence and make Cambodia pay for it.
  11. "The opposition, led by the People’s Party, is also pushing for constitutional amendments, requiring a public referendum. Meanwhile, Anutin hinted at dissolving the House to prevent prolonged debates and possible no-confidence votes. Such a dissolution would halt the constitutional amendment process." Anutin was never going to agree the Constitutional Amendments the People's Party wanted for their support to be PM. Seems like they've been played yet again and should withdraw their support immediately should he dissolve The House without any clear path to Constitutional reform.
  12. Just ordered a box in U-Thong, Suphanburi for 3000 bht.
  13. <deleted> me these dinosaurs just can't disappear gracefully but are like punch drunk boxers still convinced they have what it takes but unable to realise what a pathetic embarrassment they actually are.
  14. Yes somebody got their dates wrong. Thailand actually began their rainfall records a century ago.
  15. That depends if there is only a committee assigned to the task or if a sub-committee and also an oversight committee are appointed too.
  16. Anutin...."I admire party political loyalty and I'm willing to pay for it".
  17. You insinuated I wanted a republic like that of the French when there are many other, some would argue better examples to choose from.
  18. Support for the UK monarchy has declined over the last 50-60. Wiki has alot of polling stats. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republicanism_in_the_United_Kingdom
  19. Which would result in them being unelected in 4 or 5 years rather than fleecing the population to support an extended family and countless private estates for generations.
  20. Largest parasite in a family of self serving scroungers. Only good thing is that his like only increases calls for a republic.
  21. I'd wager my left nut Trump tied any trade deal with Thailand and Cambodia to him being present at the signing ceremony he's that desperate for a Nobel Peace Prize.
  22. "He reiterated that his financial sources were publicly declared and that he was involved in legitimate businesses prior to his political career" Would this be his export business to Australia he's talking about?
  23. What is it that drives washed up politicians and boxers to attempt ill advised comebacks that only themselves think is a good idea?
