"Civil servants lined up to bid farewell, cheering "We love you, Uncle Tu!"
Sickening and judging by results in the last election almost certainly untrue.

Hopefully MF will keep up the calling out of this bs perpetrated by the continuing military coalition.

I've reported many obvious scams on Facebook and most of these have been sponsored pages and not once were the ads taken down. More power to the Thai Govts efforts to shut down Facebook's turning a blind eye to illegality just to make extra money.

This makes no sense? "attempts to revive him were unsuccessful", doesn't that mean he had died? So why was he transferred twice? Very strange.
Possibly slipped into a coma and remains in one despite medical efforts.

1 Its owner wants to come home
2. PT want to be in power, never mind who with and to hell with their promises to voters..
It's illegal to intentionally deceive voters in Thailand..
If someone can prove PT had every intention of teaming up with the junta uncles before the election, they should be dissolved.
Yeah sickening isn't it. I'd like to think PT are finished in any future election after this absolute betrayal of their electorate. Judging by the reaction of most of wifeys friends who supported a MF/PT coalition that outcome is a distinct possibility.

Both were out-maneuvered by the powers-that-be.
And with the giant ask for repatriating Thaksin, PTP had no choice. That was a huge debt.
IMO, PTP would be better served by being honest about the deal they made, why they made it and who they made it with.
Trying to keep that secret, when almost everyone knows what happened, may be their death knell?
The choice they had was to wait until next May when the term of the present Senate stooges comes to an end. Any interim minority govt headed by BJT or Prawit would have been useless being so outnumbered by the original Move Forward coalition that a new election before next May or shortly after would have been inevitable. A MF, PT landslide would have been guaranteed then after the Senate shenanigans last month.

Just now, thaiscot said:You must have same sort of school run as me as Daughter's school is 30kms away so 120kms a day . I'm looking at buying a hybrid because at least have security of a petrol engine don't think Thailand is ready for electric cars just yet ( out in the villages where I am anyway )
Hi, we live in a rural area and the nearest quick charger is 30kms away. We do virtually 100% slow home charging, usually overnight, every other day. The slow charger goes from 20 to 80% in about 12 hours. Our Neta V uses 30% of it's battery doing the 120kms a day to and from school.
Fuel bill has gone from about 7.5k a month for diesel down to approx 2k bht extra on electric. We're hoping to decrease that by getting an off-peak meter installed soon which will also use a slightly quicker charger supplied by Neta.

Be interesting to see what oath of allegiance Srettha actually swears considering the fuss over the unusual one Prayut had to swear after he took office following the last election.

Wanted to 'find a way out for the country' my hairy farang ass. Still can't accept you're an irrelevance despite the coalition already having enough votes without those from another poxy 16 turncoats.

Unbelievable that a former leader of the Democrat's still doesn't know that a lying, cheating, duplicitous, self serving clique exists within the party.

I'll send you a bucketful.

Where are you? Here in Kanchanaburi we've had two days of near biblical downpours and both of our reservoirs are overflowing which is a relief.

I will be absolutely amazed if you can catch a fast train from Bangkok to Nong Khai in 2027 considering the section to Korat is only 40% complete and the section on to Nong Khai hasn't even received Govt approval yet.

My policy only covers 1 million baht per accident....so in this case I'd have to fork out the extra 300K....not so bad! But imagine of you wrote the Rolls off, my wife told me it cost 33 milion baht...so I'd only owe 32 million.
In that case swear blind that she reversed into you.

Now I'm confused....the OP says Woranat, the borrower, shot Sa-at the lender, yet the Thaiger article says Wanna was the lender and shot Sa-ad the borrower.
Sloppy reporting all round really.

Many retired foreigners (mostly oldsters with limited finances) take this view - essentially that they are nobly bolstering the rural economy with purchase of pick up trucks, motor cycles, houses for their partners, and of course the endless flow of their pensions and savings. They believe this is somehow a significant contribution to the Thai economy. It really isn't and certainly the Thai authorities do not regard it as such.
My pension is significantly more than the 50k bht income required for a smart visa.

"Eligibility for this visa requires a level of commitment to the local economy"
Which appears to be exactly what those on marriage and retirement extensions do year after year so why not, at the very least, extend the doing away of 90 day reporting for this group as it has been for those with the Smart Visa?
