Ahhh. Another Brexit bonus. Free from EU rules and regulations and able to make our own partnerships.

I believe the EU's attempts at closer ties to Thailand have been floundering for years. But we all know how long it takes for that monolithic organization to move. I guess that's why the EuroZone is in recession while the UK has avoided it.

It seems Brexit was a cliff edge after all. Just not for the UK.

Many business leaders in the UK are calling for the UK to align with EU regulations to simplify trade as they recognise going it alone will be disastrous for industry. The CEO of Ford UK did exactly this recently.

The EU cutoff trade talks with Thailand in 2014 in response to Prayuts coup. They've recently reopened negotiations just prior to the recent election.

The UK is the only G7 economy still below pre pandemic levels.

Lending criteria here is without logic and will vary from one retailer to another . Not sure if there is a credit rating in Thailand . As an e.g. in the UK , big brother / credit agencies will have access to your finances and financial history and that info is openly available to lenders . However Thai lenders are keen to lend to government employees and the teaching profession , without doing a means test . My ladies sister is a teacher and her husband is a head teacher . They are mortgaged and c.c. debts to the hilt . They do not think about tomorrow . I suggest you approach another dealership because you appear to be financially secure and a safe lending risk .

Too late I'm afraid, I went back and paid cash.

I dont think its the senators we need to worry about. Like the EC they also do not want blood on their hands. Its Pheu Thai that is the dark horse in this race.

If PT scupper the chance for a new MF led Govt then I believe they'll never be forgiven and lose all hope of winning in the future. It is obvious the vast majority voted for change and PT should also embrace that need for change by giving the elected majority the means to deliver what the people obviously want.

    Important thing for Neta V

    ... replace 'reducer' (transmission) oil

    @ 10k, then ever 20k kms afterwards

... apparently a 'cooling & freezing' fluid needs to be changed ever 40k kms

...  replace AC filter @ 20k, then ever 10k kms afterward

... Everything else seems to be inspect at certain intervals.

Google translate (on laptop) does a OK job of translating manual.   Maintenance schedule starts @ page 123.

Guess you could do the same, reading the manual they give you, with GLens from phone.

    Brilliant, thanks for your help.

The brexit vote was seven years ago. Get over yourself!

New retirees would be aware of the current rules when they make their decision.

I was over the ability of an electorate to collectively shoot itself in the crotch years ago just a shame that the majority of UK retiree's no longer meet the financial requirements to reside in Europe anymore.
