Weed / Cafes and bong shops in Pattaya
bobbin replied to sattahipretire's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Second recommendation for these guys.. Better like your "free" parking, because you are paying for it.. I went there today based on the first recommendation. 850/950 gm. In and out in 3 minutes. -
Will the gentle approach rid Thailand of its drug problem?
bobbin replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Uh huh.. extra-judicial execution. State-sponsored murder. Already been tried here in Thailand. It didn't go down well with the Thai people. Do you have a problem with logic? Some people do bad things. Let's kill (murder) them. At that point, the cure is worse than the disease... -
It's getting harder to argue that the military junta has been a negative for Thailand..

It's not possible to use the word reality in a sentence that contains "Bob Smith's" name.. -
There will be some regulation, and I hope also VAT revenue for the government. These are reasonable expectations... But why does there have to be a way to stop Johnny from becoming a pt(sic) head? We know well the problems of alcohol and teens are susceptible because they are beginning to shape their adult selves. Personally, I hope that many Thai teens discover that cannabis is a good alternative to alcohol. Difficult yes, because with the exception of the Islamic nations, alcohol use is rampant everywhere in the world.. often accompanied by known social problems that brings.. Disclaimer: I realize that cannabis is/will be officially restricted to 20 years and older. But..

That is the penalty for screwing up here.. -
No, the jury is not out.. Canada is a well-educated nation. A member of the G7, the largest economies in the world. A respected international citizen. We made our choice, and the process was well documented... Did you have a little bit of a brain fade when you posted? I ask because you included two statements, one of which can be put down to people who are new to edibles, and the other which directly contradicts the point you were trying to make. The legalization of recreational cannabis, which has resulted in major reductions in social harms such as heavily discriminatory police charges for cannabis offences, has had major public health benefits.

Was it stupid for Canada as well? How about the many American states that have legalized recreational cannabis? Or Germany, whose coalition government has promised legal recreational cannabis by the end of the year? Luxembourg? Malta? Same. Really... You knee-jerk anti cannabis people need new material. Your views have been overtaken by events.

Lancet Commission on COVID-19 response: 'Massive global failure'
bobbin replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
They are still out there, looking to engage at the slightest opening.. When I meet "Deniers", both the ones reacting emotionally and the "scientific" one who have a whole catalogue of "facts" to back up their willful blindness, I have made a single point.. Twenty years from now history will simply say "XX millions died in the Covid 19 pandemic. Nothing about "excess deaths" or the other "get outs" these types postulate.. This is how the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918-20 is dealt with in history. 50+ million deaths. Now we have a number... 17.2 million people and counting.. -
Two friends have recently passed.. a lingering, horrible process. No dignity. I'm hoping for a quick (relatively) heart attack.
