  1. There is no elastic band effect with modern CVT's..
  2. Yep, you're single, couldn't find a partner to do dead lifts....???? So what does an army SAS bloke's intended have to be good at....????..?
  3. Don't worry about it, you will get over it.........
  4. It may well have now.....????
  5. The days of the DAF CVT belts are well and truly over......???? Our lad has a Mazda 2 CVT, first time I rode in it, I said, this hasn't got a CVT, you can hear the engine rev's drop as you accelerate, of course he didn't have a clue what I was talking about, so when I got home I Googled to find I was right, think it has a six speed auto..
  6. Same CVT as the Nissan March, it provides an excellent ride, and I have had auto's since 1966....????
  7. It is popular because of its performance history since 1924, and Brit badge on the boot lid.....????
  8. No............Most faragy's here have Thai extended family who have a gov job, school teacher etc, they can sign and put the school stamp, I know a few that do that with no problem... Even a Thai business owner can do it..
  9. Near forgot, there is now a new design Celerio, not seen one here yet, but I am not keen on the change in styling...
  10. I really like the look of the latest Swift...............
  11. It has a top speed of 90/100 mph (150/160kph)... Mine has never seen over 100kph.....????
  12. I will avoid what you are drinking or taking, please tell me what it is...........????
  13. Our lad has a top end 1300cc Mazda 2, very nice comfortable car, but getting in and out of the thing is a pain with bumps on the head, I never bump my head in the Celerio, well designed small car..
  14. Never used them, same as I never had a bath with my socks on....
  15. But I have 15x7j's wiv 195x50x15 boots, bit of a difference in the handling department......
  16. I am one that cannot afford to have my pension stopped, and go through the delay sorting thingy. My advice has served me well for many a year, and I still wear a mask in shops....????
  17. The bloke should stick to football and not get out of his depth....
  18. Have you ever driven a 998cc Morris 1000 ?, yes the 998cc Celerio fly's..????..
  19. Indeed, and a stamp is not mandatory, though preferred.... Fill the form in send it off, wait about a month and ring them up to find out if they received it and all is well. You will be asked a few security questions, have your N.I. number ready...
  20. I think he's on a retainer with MG......
  21. Yep, it's amazingly quiet too, just drifts along, but if you floor it in sports mode, it really fly's, bit of a delay, but makes me think how bad our small cars of yesteryear really were. It has a 3 pot 998cc engine, 68 hp. which is more than the loveable 4 pot 998cc Mini Cooper of yesteryear, about the same as the 1071 Mini Cooper S..... ????
  22. We have it's younger brother, the Suzuki Celerio, now 8 years old, has CVT with no problems, cost peanuts to run and at around 400,000bht is one of the cheapest rides out there. Small big car, 5 doors the 4 side doors are the same size as my Vigo, it has the headroom of the Vigo too.......A/C is good, power steering is good, and it stops good too. Even has seat belts for 5...????
  23. And it was nonsense............... Congrats....????
