  1. My I ask why "EV's win hands down in Thailand", when the obvious choice for Thailand is a PHEV, as LOS, as yet, does not have a credible charge station infrastructure..? Please don't come back with what YOU have or do (or MG)....???? PS. Are you being sponsored by MG ...............????
  2. Great, come back when the battery warranty mileage is up, or nearing end of battery warranty.
  3. I will report on my PP renewal as it happens using an agent., starting here today.... Sent my PP and completed forms etc to the agent via EMS post, they emailed me to say all is OK, put the fee into this bank account..... I did that on 23rd June, yesterday, 29th June, I got an email from VHS at Trendy, saying my application has been sent to Her Majesties Passport Office UK....???? Wait for the next episode, problem or no problem...????
  4. Yes, I have marked your words................????
  5. Cheap ones are usually water filled and are still out there. But in the temps they work in, a close eye is needed. When I had a pickup the first 2 water filled batteries lasted exactly 2 years, then Boliden with some of its fill missing (don't ask) lasted 3.5 years, then I bought a cheap water filled battery to get out of trouble, religiously opened the hood when parked up at home, 3 years old when I sold the truck...
  6. This is it on Shopee.......Must be where I ordered it from... https://shopee.co.th/FOXSUR-FBC1207D-Car-Smart-Battery-Charger-เครื่องชาร์จแบตเตอรี่-12V-เครื่องซ่อมแบตเตอรี่-รถยนต์-มอเตอร์ไซค์-แบตแห้ง-AGM-i.37896532.7763372459?sp_atk=18986ee2-5606-47fb-83a2-24fd59cde19a&xptdk=18986ee2-5606-47fb-83a2-24fd59cde19a
  7. 11 years................????
  8. Our lad was the one who told me about the Amaron battery 2 year guarantee, he had one on his Civic that was over 2 years old, he has not long ago sold the car, battery must be 3 years old, still going strong. My Amaron is exactly 1 year 3 months old, after sitting overnight shows 12.7v, but I thought I would give it a blast with the smart charger. It went through the desulphation mode and after a few more minutes showed "finished", I put my tester on it to show 13+v. So all is well at the mo....????
  9. De-sulphation mode, it does what it says on the packet...???? On my auto smart charger has a screen, you can watch what it is doing, including the up and down amp charging, desulphating the plates etc....
  10. Oh wow, did that take you long to Glooogle up.......????
  11. all my Thai friends, my local watering hole all wear masks if needed. Take into consideration, we have never seen a cop or authority to search for non mask wearers ever. They/I wear a mask because WE KNOW folk who laughed at masks have caught C19, that is mainly at my watering hole. You see, there are some with a bit of common sense to take some sort of self-protection in the environment we frequent.....????
  12. Hang on, I will let you know what I bought. It will only work with a battery with a minimum of 7 volts, but that can be overcome.... It is a 12v 7 amp 7-stage automatic battery charger....A tip, look via your phone, not PC, usually stuff comes up cheaper. I paid around 300 bht for mine a year ago.
  13. This was one of my thoughts on another thread. As we know in LOS cars in general hold their value mainly because they keep going, with an EV, the battery is the "engine", which most, at this stage, only has a 100,000mile guarantee, if a car has near or over that, who is going to take the gamble, and what will its value be, for sure not the same as a petrol ride. But, perhaps the savings made from petrol over a period of years will not bother an EV owner or resale value.
  14. I have no idea about EV brands assembly/production line capacities ....
  15. The temp things are free to use, you don't have to stop walking, and it tells you if your temp is in its normal range for free. And you want to dodge the free service...????
  16. Go to B-Quik, get them to do the professional battery test readout. It tells all, you don't have to buy their battery. Think 2 years here batteries do go tits up, all depends on usage. For few 100bht you can buy a battery "repair" charger on Lazada, it works really well getting the carp off the plates and giving it new life, l bought one and was impressed, I even got our dead bike battery back to life with it ....???? The last battery I bought was the new kid on the block, that gives a 2 year guaranty and is not expensive, called Amaron, it was recommended...
  17. You still don't understand the thread, it is not about you or your daily life...???? PS. I don't own a Celerio...
  18. Do buyers go into the workings of the internal combustion engine and transmission wiv a car purchase, don't fink so....
  19. But, folk are told battery warrantee is 8 years, that plants the seed that the battery is not a concern for a buyer, yet, the or 100,000miles is tagged on the end.. If it is a new tech, then why not say, 100,000miles, that would certainly make me think twice at this early stage of battery development for EV...
  20. We know your thoughts..MG MG MG....Everything I have is excellent, why buy expensive cars, you can be like me....MG MG MG....????
  21. KhunLA just doesn't understand the thread, the thread is supposed to be the same as any other motoring thread, informative to those who want to learn stuff, or provide info to clear issues up. Unfortunately, KhunLA seems to think the thread is about him and his world or MG.........????
  22. Drat, and I watch YouTube House of Commons debates....????
