  1. MG was the mark of Morris Garages performance stuff, which stared way back. BMC bought it all up, Morris for their basic stuff and MG for the tweaked up basic stuff, not that BMC went particularly radical with the tweaking. Most of their offerings had an MG variant, except the Mini, the JC link with the Mini, though it did come back the Mini Metro.
  2. Then they should have included the MG performance thing....MG was always about tweaked engines, otherwise they were just a Morris, etc...
  3. I looked after 2 in the early 70's.....A Midget and a Frogeye..????
  4. Totally different thing, nothing to do with a cheap car production. I have a wheelbarrow, 2 years old, the bottom has rusted out, rubbish steel pressing.....????
  5. Regular servicing is a good idea for those who wanted to run a performance sports car back then. I had a 1964 MGB roadster, can't think of any major issues, the dynamo and its regulator were a bit tricky, but a bit of emery cloth sorted it...????
  6. Sorry, I have only quoted/made a quip. Please write your question again here..? Thank you....????
  7. Hmmm, I have answered, but you cannot answer mine.... Have a go..????
  8. I wonder what happened to the Brit MG performance thing then, they should be ashamed, but, I have no doubt the Chinese were pointing them in their direction, costs, survivability, etc....????
  9. "Brit Dynamic", hmmmm, weeeell, you have been no.1 for slagging off MG of the past, yet now we have "Brit Dynamic", not "Chinese Dynamic". ???? Purchases, I did mention that earlier, cheap car with the G.B. link, it must have ticked a lot of boxes..........????
  10. You missed the quip too....???? But, you tell me why the truck has a Union Jack on the tail gate with Brit written on it, I mean, it is a Maxus T70 with MG bling....? Now to me, it is a sales gimmick to sell a Chinese truck with the G.B. link, if it wasn't, they would be selling the Maxus T70 in LOS well before now, perhaps they do, but I have never seen one.......
  11. Correct, it also doesn't have a Chinese flag, where it is made, so why do you think this 100% Chinese truck has a Union Jack with Brit on it. ?
  12. Probably is as it is a tarted up Chinese Maxus T70, tried and tested....????
  13. You never saw the quip then....?....????. PS, Was the pickup in my photo designed in G.B.....? ????
  14. Yes, they will attract folk who want a cheap ride that's made in G.B............. ???? ..........What a find.................????
  15. You shouldn't forget it, other countries came to your aid so you and yours could be free, many paid the ultimate price doing so...????
  16. Depends, if reliability is much the same as other Chinese stuff I have bought over the years.......????
  17. Could be around 60k, we got 30k for one at 11 years old...
  18. When you read the figures for no helmet or licence over a few day's, it just shows you how useless the law/legal system is...????
  19. That's in farangland, not 'ere......????
  20. I reckon the slightly lower figures can be related to the rise in the cost a fuel...They holiday'd at Stopathome....????
