Someone who walks around Pattaya with near 5oz of gold strung around their neck at 1.30am needs their head examining.
To me Anyone, Anywhere at Any time........ don't see the point + that also goes for expensive watches..
If you must wear a necklace appear this new 3D thing would be the way to go ? Men's 3D printed Thai Gold Necklace 1,060 baht.. anyone stealing it would get a shock as it is worth nothing

No OS included.
As you said + have done for years simple and cheap just a few mouse clicks.
Still would rather build my own, would have the hardware brands I want and trust/used for years, just not as able as I was

RAM & SSDs are relatively cheap these days, and W11 is downloadable from Microsoft. Get a key from eBay for less than a tenner.
7800 from Lazada as opposed to 20k from JIB. Caveat emptor.
As said my eyes are not what they used to be or for that matter are my hands that steady, so a PC ready to go in my mind would be better, than having to part build a new PC
Newest system AM 5 board + DD5 Ram, is also on my list. under 16.000 baht + would be delivered same day + could fit my present SSD + HDDs

I have had Intel NUCs for years, and all have had two HDMI sockets, 4K not 8K.
Where would you buy an 8k monitor or obtain 8k content to display?
Not even interested in 4k + or even 2 x HDMI, but that is what it says it comes with - maybe if I live that long will have to replace the TV, so maybe 4k ? My Acer 32" Curved Monitor is newish so not looking to replace that.
just looking to replace my 13 years old AMD FX Pc so maybe will buy a Mini, my eyes are not what they used to be so a ready build maybe better then self build PC

Piggy backing on this a little...
I have two monitors used for a home office set up that I rarely use.
I'm thinking of a Mini-PC for my Son and hooking in the two monitors.
He'll likely want to play some games (although not heavy games - just stuff like Roblox & Minecraft).
Thus: Do these mini-pc's handle multiscreen output and some gaming ?
I did look at the BlackVue MP60 - but didn't spend enough time looking deeply into it to establish viability.
https://www.amazon.com/Blackview-Computer-Processor-Business-Ethernet/dp/B0BJ6HMSDP?th=1
on your link shows 2 HDMI
- Looking at the Ryzen 7 [maybe will buy] says Supports 8K displays & multiple screens. has 2 HDMI plugs

From what I can see this B-4 is a Intel i3 ?
the B-6 is Intel i5 ?
the B-8 is a Intel i7 + better Graphics - am I right ?
Having never had or used a Intel PC find it hard to know, always had and used AMD, problem is most descent AMD Mini PC's are/shipped from China. anything halve decent already in Thailand are a few thousand baht more. - eg: AMD R5-7500 from China 13,400 baht - same spec in Thailand 18,200 baht and up !!!
then I found this + in Thailand ??

obviously importing one is an option.
and what's wrong with these ?
JIB also has them
https://www.jib.co.th/web/product/product_list/2/1496
Re your link - Yes JIB have them but
Memory = • Not Included
Storage = • Not Included
OS = • Not Included
so add these on = expensive on JIB = around 20.000+ baht
The Lazada link - Bmax B6 looks a great deal all included + already in Thailand for 7,800 baht with Free delivery
I was already looking at the ' Bmax Official Store'

Not only big ticket item buy at Home Pro, Needed RECESSED LED PANEL LAMP 60x60
Home Pro + Global House have them 1,590 - 1.890 baht each
Lazada 199 baht, in the past 2 years have bought 4 all perfect, bit thin but works fine, 2 others small ones about the same price years ago and sill working fine..
air purifier bought at Home Pro. they replaces it under warranty within 3 months, even the replacement only works for a short time, as I can remember cost around 3.000 + baht !! yet the 590 baht one from Lazada years ago still working fine
it is all a bit pot luck

Hi Folks,
I do not, really, mean to take up too much of your time in the consideration of my next desktop computer.
But, also, I think that some others might be interested in how to get the most bang for the buck.
a. I have pretty much settled upon this CPU (INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700)) as the one that I will buy next week.
b. My only question now is... What mainboard might be best?
1. I will attach three monitors. (and these are sort of legacy monitors, some without HDMI ports, etc, although I can buy adaptors, of course.) ALSO, I might want to attach 4 monitors in some cases, because I think that the onboard Intel CPU graphics can accommodate 4 monitors. Although, I will need to check this.)
2. I need to attach two scanners, and at least one USB microphone, and a few other things.
3. Needs to be really reliable. I have had problems with capacitors burning out in the distant past on other mainboards, probably due to salt air off the Pacific Ocean.
4. I always opt of ASUS motherboards...and I know what to expect. And, I like what I get.
c. After this question of which motherboard to choose, I have my second only question of what 500-watt powersupply to select.
I have no idea.
It seems to me that there must be a heavy import duty on powersupplies to Thailand...but why I do not know.
So, which power supply might be best from those offered at JIB?
d. I always buy my computer stuff at JIB. I am just a creature of habit, and so I will buy everything at JIB in CM.
e. Concerning the CASE for this new build....
I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions, to date.
I DID learn quite a bit from the Computer Case input from readers here ont he IT forum.
And so, thank you for this.
f. Now....I am mostly concerned with which socket 1700 mainboard to buy from ASUS.....
I am NOT a gamer.
And so I do not need superfast RAM or super fast anything.
Except, in the future, I might like to have a PCI-e ramdrive...if you know what I mean. I just want to speed up the display of information on the screen the moment I hit the button, if you know what I am talking about.
Therefore, I need the capability to install a Samsung Ramdrive....in the PCIe slot, I think.
I will not buy it now.
But, I might buy a better one within the next several months.
Until then, I will just use my SSD and my 4Tbyte HDDs....
So, anyway, this is just about it...
I already know the CPU I will buy.
The only question here is what mainboard might be best.
I do not mean to trouble you.
However, I also realize that there are many here who just enjoy sharing opinions on a Topic such as this, especially when a new motherboard purchase is in the offing.
Thank you and regards,
Gamma
NOTE: Not such a bad price at JIB for this CPU.....but....maybe I could do better elsewhere? Or, maybe they might have a promotion next week? I really do not know.....
Most new Motherboards these days have 1 or 2 on board M-2 SSD slots on them, [mush faster] so easy to put 1TB WD Black @ 2,700 baht when building ?
-
Intel Gen 14 'Raptor Lake' is already on sale at both JIB and Advice now - take a look at there websites
Appears the New 14 Gen Intel cost the same or cheaper than the 13 Gen, so can only guess maybe the remaining [old stock] 13 Gen CPUs will come down in price
As for Motherboards, up to you and what you need - you like Asus, myself like Gigabyte

Just tried Testmy speed comes up 798.92 Mbps
on Speedtest comes up 902,66 Mbps

Why would you think he runs win 11?
I'm happy enough with win 7 ultimate.
I see all the higher versions just as a marketing gimmick.
Some say the Security is better + all the new type software + drivers are better....?? OK I am on Windows 10, but a friend appear happy still using XP
If and when I upgraded/rebuild my PC or buy a new one will give Win11 a try,

That's true but Ikea and others like that don't have the computer table that I am looking for, the one I want should be about 60 ins from the floor to the desktop, all the others are about 75ins up.
Maybe a higher chair ? + a foot stool if your feet do not reach the floor ?

In all the years been using L:azada most have been perfect, ordered [70 % off Sale] 24 Pegs & 20 SS Hooks Friday evening, item arrived yesterday [Sunday]
Do find odd on Lazada, order something from Thailand = 45 baht delivery charge - order same item from China 29 baht delivery charge, my last item was from Taiwan also 29 baht delivery charge... All items were the same, same brand, 'The Good Doctor' from Taiwan was even cheaper = less that 50% cheaper than the cheapest Pharmacy in Thailand
on the other had had many problem with Shopee, wrong item sent, many orders cancelled..
But then we have Tops, ordered 2,650 baht food stuff , nothing arrived on fixed date, 2 week later received message, 'out of stock' !! - What on all items about 12 different things..... !!! Big C is a waste of time, order then most items no not arrive.... Not used before Lotus's so tried this last week 24 items ordered, 18 items arrived, 4 of these did not order + 2 other items were a different brand + more expensive, so refused., had the money ready 2,160 baht, sorting at the gate paid 820 baht........ waste of time.. must go if someone will take me to Big C Extra myself... as need these items..
Why have them listed if no stock ? why send different items than order ? Online ordering has gone downhill in resent months ..order = pot luck what may arrive

To enhance transaction security and application efficiency as well as support new features, upcoming Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking versions will only be supported on iOS version 13.0 & above and Android version 7.0 & above from September 21, 2023 onwards.Yes looks like Staff at my Branch have no idea.... so need to go into another Branch, my local Branch said cannot must be Android 11 or above....
Would understand if they sold smartphones = want a sale, but they do not, so one day will take both phones Android 9 the other Android 10 into a bigger branch [think there is one at Westgate ? or Big C Extra there was last time I went must be about 2 years ago] maybe better than the 2 staff at my Branch.
