Totally agree. Thailand smugly boasts 90+% employment! I ask how many of them work? Look at the numbers of over-manned shop assistants who either hide from customers or follow them about in herds. Most Thais would not last a week in the West.

I too saw the same number of cops throughout the full weekend. I wonder how many tourists the disgraceful RTP dissuade annually from a return trip?

Again may I praise this thread for being the most helpful on AseanNow. I try to avoid the wokism/realism discussions; I am a frustrated author/playwright who can't get an agent.
