UK and Thailand Hold Joint AI Week
At the top of the home page is a button ChatGPT. I asked it to translate a sentence from this article; this is its answer; - กิจกรรมที่น่าตื่นเต้นที่เป็นเวลาสี่วันตั้งแต่วันที่ 15 ถึงวันที่ 18 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2566 ซึ่งเป็นการแสดงความเป็นผู้นำระดับโลกของสหราชอาณาจักรในการประยุกต์ใช้ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI). I don't know how accurate it is. I have used it to translate one of my published short stories in the hope of finding a Thai market.

Intoxicated Chinese Woman Taken to Police Station After Car Crash in Pattaya Area
I didn't think anything - I asked a simple question. So are licences from India and Africa acceptable? Are there any countries which are on Thailand's forbidden list of drivers?

Thaksin was deposed by an army coup; the same generals are still running the country irrespective of the election. If I were Thaksin I'd continue to enjoy my ill-gotten games in Dubai & fly my friends/family out for frequent visits.

Food delivery driver apologizes after refusing overweight customer due to bike damage
They should bring in airfare increases for overweight passengers too by weighing them AND their luggage. I once got charged 90 UKP for excess baggage then spent the next 14 hours wedged between layers of overspill flesh from the passengers next to me. A cab driver should be allowed to refuse a drunk fare if there is a likelihood of vomit; a motorbike taxi should be allowed to refuse an overweight passenger if he feared for the equilibrium of his vehicle.

Dengue Fever Cases Climb To 5,000-6,000 A Week
I singled out drainage chambers which is hardly scattergun. 'Curtailing the movement of humans would be more effective than all the insecticide you can lay your hands on.' How does one do this? Lockdown?

Dengue Fever Cases Climb To 5,000-6,000 A Week
Which is precisely my point. Humans (Thai engineers) build breeding chambers AKA drainage. They occur on all major roads and expensive moo-baans. When I served on the committee of one of these, I personally put Sai Bait (? a muslin bag of insecticide down every chamber effectively cutting back on egg laying.) The town hall often provided this free of charge.)

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2023)
I saw 'Oppenheimer' - an hour too long; confusing construction; running two trials simultaneously (one in black & white) AND I knew how it ended!

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2023)
Just posted this review on IMDb - How disappointing! You wait years for a follow-up to the previous 6 series then come up with this pale imitation. A dramatic title cannot hide the paucity of plot.Raylan is a great character yet hampered by a pale, insipid daughter. I note with satisfaction she is now being shipped away to let her dad get on with his real job of taking bad guys of the street. How many times is the villain going to be interviewed & released to kill again?I could just about cope with the accents in Harlan County but those of a number of Detroit characters defeat me. I will wait till it ends and download it with subtitles.
