  1. Thailand. EVERY flight from China will have 50+% of its passengers infected judging by last week's data.
  2. Carrying thousands of passengers with over 50% infection rates according to tests on planes into at least two countries last week.
  3. Despite bogus documents to the contrary, 50-60% of Chinese tested positive on flights into at least two countries. These incoming numbers must have an impact on the local population. I suspect the return flights would have 80% infection rates given the Chinese propensity to do everything in groups.
  4. I know a man who was sued by his wife for a fling with a bar girl. The offended wife sued for 5.5 million & the girl for 500K.
  5. How does one 'encourage awareness'? Thais are unaware of other people in the world and hold group conversations blocking escalator exits & blundering into others on foot never mind vehicles!
  6. Me first (please - the motto of Thai motorists, another area not mentioned in the survey.)
  7. My daughter/husband arrives in five days time. Luckily they are fully vaccinated and totally insured to the hilt for flight/hotel cancellations. I'll bet there are many who aren't. These families stand to lose thousands whilst the Chinese (who invented/exported the virus) arrive with 50%+ infection rates!
  8. Which pub? I couldn't remember the Coaching House. They do Mediaeval Banquets. I went from Radcliffe to Ramsbottom & taught 35 years in Haslingden (a stone's throw from Clitheroe.)
  9. So Pattaya's on/off CCTV cameras do work selectively. What a shame they are not used to arrest the potential killers who speed/drive drunk/run red lights.
  10. Kwai - a stupid slow-moving beast as seen in the Kwaistone Cops movies.
  11. So that's ONE DEAD child a DAY for ten years. Thais are very slow learners.
  12. I lived in Radcliffe & went for Sunday lunch at a Smithills restaurant (the stately hall one.)
  13. Kao chai. You don't really think the meter was broken?
  14. Me too. But I spent all of it locally. Now after severe cuts to my standard of living, the locals get 50% less from me.
  15. I moved out of Bangkok 16 years ago when the meters worked but the traffic meant 2 hours of my day sitting in a taxi. I came to Pattaya where NONE of the meters work so I bought a car. I visit my son in Bangkok 3 times a year; the taxis I take are all near Suk soi 15 - 19 so I am lumped in with the Nana crowd. Try taking a taxi on soi 4.
  16. A special team of Pattaya policemen; ones who work?
  17. Is there any criminal charge? Most politicians lack a code of ethics and no scruples when baht is in the offing.
  18. The boat was perfectly sea-worthy just lacking 50 lifejackets.
  19. How many were police? The only laws enforced are those that directly benefit the B(andits) I(n) B(rown).
  20. Nit noy. What's got to do with the latest taxi scam? Getting a metered taxi in Bangkok is a 70-30 chance against. Getting one in Pattaya is virtually 100% against.
  21. 'the victim had been dead for at least 10 days' and no-one had missed him?
  22. Luckily the owner had renewed his fire insurance last week.
  23. They don't even inform you that their meter is broken.
  24. once the bill for life-jackets has been settled.
  25. I must be on the same web-page; motor mechanic?
