Policing in lieu of posturing
how ever is that going to work?
.

Wow! Life jackets? What are those?
I guess they will import them from Greece, seems to be a surplus of them there.
Just take care they don't come ready- filled

Snake captured
Bathroom cleaning products still missing
DSI summoned

An intricate and detailed piece of cunning hatched by some serious 'outside the box' thinking from high ranking brownshirted genii
If only the 'perp' had had the perspicacity to wear a motocy helmet, the plans would have been thwarted

What was his crime? Not brandishing the mandatory pistol?
c'mon Nattawut individual thought will get you nowhere (weren't you paying attention when those school teachers beat you about the head)

Written comprehension
It was a police 'scam' (or was it being complicent in repetitive crimes) brought to the fore by the P.V. taking the high moral ground over the scum they choose to wallow with
Thereby inviting comment/criticism
So how did a straight forward discourse devolve to extraneous big bikes?

If they didn't know that they were volunteering to help a corrupt organization, then they are far too naive to be Thai Police volunteers. Also naive to think that the cops would police themselves....
The very fact that they'd 'employ' these volunteer badge mannequins
would speak volumes to the normally adjusted
-
How can a volunteer go on strike? You either give your time free or you don't. So what?
Are they thinking of picketing the police box or something? Clowns.
After 5 years they decide to go "on strike" and withdraw their voluntary pretend police labor - wowee that will really worry the police chief. So none of them new about any corruption in the police when they became volunteers?
More likely see the ending of these wannabee Sweney clowns as the police dispense with their services. That would be a shame for the genuine ones who provide translation services and try to help.
If not clowns they wouldnt have run away to join the circus
noh?

Deary me
a W**k**s I mean Peasants Revolt
Just what tint of Rose colouring were the lenses worn when these Inspector Callahan wannabees signed up as the unpaid Gr*ss*s I mean Lackys for these known quantities in brown

Interesting
But

Dual SIM?
and importantly
if so...Dual SIM + SD (without forfeiting a SIM slot)?

TBH
Why dont you check out the cost to send via the Post Office (check the main one on Sukhumvit opposite side to 'Floating market')
Not immediate choice to the westerner's psyche but they do this with aplomb all the time and cheaply
May be a much more viable alternative than schlepping to and from BKK

Had it done in one eye sometime after IOL surgery in both
Had the proceedure done at BPH no fuss , drops etc. and a few seconds at the machine (a bit like a desktop PC with the usual Head cradle affair)
They use a system which unlike the 'old' doughnut hole in the posterior (back of) the capsule their machine lasers a cross - the four 'corners' that subsequently creates then naturally curl back making a square opening rather than a round one. The optical result is no different I'm told but the big bonus is that there is apparently much less inter ocular debris created this way

Reciprocation is always fun
Spend 20 or 30 minutes boogering about rejecting the battered notes they give you

An indefinite crackdown on money grubbing brown shirts not doing what they are there for
bingo bango bongo
problem over
so simple
yet
so damned impossible

Cant be a real Scotsman.....it's only taking 3 people to restrain him in the picture!
But in fairness at least two of them (& one passive observer) appear to be paratroopers

after all they would be covered in their own home...
From UK
Yes most assuredly
-
Most UK travel policies cover anything <200cc hired or otherwise, as a pillion as in this case (thankfully written comprehension isnt a prerequisite to travel) the sky's the limit
Yes the truck driver's insurance (if any) is liable - but to say 'for all medical bills' shows a severe misunderstanding of the payout maximas - if she was left quadriplegic she wouldn't receive 1.8M Baht

The incessant mewing over Pattaya 'Taxi Meters'
They were incepted as a quaint solution to a need
BUT
If they actually functioned as intended they would present a real competitive alternative to the hoard of Songthews, and that of course would be intolerable. So the 'collective' put the bite on them and their existence is only tolerated if they price themselves way out of competitive proximity.
If you want to understand the problem follow the money, and the trail ends basically with the Baht Bus Licence holders who rent out most of the ones rattling around the town

Sell chicken Rice .
Chicken will buy rice ?

Take your money hit the bars and party it away
I a little under a years time it'll be gone (way less if you're frivolous
)
But you'll have had fun
Throw it into an under funded Thai 'pip squeak' business, in less than a year it'll all be gone, and you'll be at your wits end
Or you could do as already suggested and take a sharp intake of common sense
-
Hmmmm...silly girl...she should know that a flame thrower works better
But the quintessential goad for engendering anything remotely resembling a proper police response from the brownshirts (doesn't that term fit so well metaphorically and sartorially
)
is as the world at large knows: a viral 'loss of face' on social media
