I was just onto the bank, finally they sorted out why they weren't ringing me
before they blocked the card.
I gave an 084 number and they thought it was Irish and got no answer.
They said that if they had that code they would have rung me first.
I told them that it was a Thai number but they never asked for a code.
What's the bloody country code for Thailand
And again what's the best way to put money into my Thai PayPal account without chainging it into Baht first.
Thanks for the input so far.

AFAIK you cant put anything but THB into your Thai PP account (It will let you submit another currency as a withdrawal to your bank ...but it auto converts it anyhow)
BUT
Recheck your assertion that you cant have a Thai delivery address on your Irish PP account (I certainly have one on my UK PP account)

Use your skill and judgement to guess where the headman's one million baht is concealed. Second prize for where the 700K baht reward is concealed. Third prize for marking the site of the best torture injury
100 baht for 5 'Xs'
500 baht for 30 'Xs'
Judges decision is final

Giving them food lol
Reminds me of a cautionary tale read long ago in a book on negotiating tactics:
A Cautionary Tale of Wolves and Sledges
Sven, the head of Arctic Circle Sales for a Swedish freezer food company, is chosen to lead a team selling their products to the Inuit communities of The Northern Territories of Canada. The team use dog sledges, and carry a rifle for protection from wolves and other predators.
One day, Sven is sledging home when he hears a wolf howl. In moments, a lean mean, wolf is chasing him and the dog team. Unfortunately, he’s used his last bullet to shoot a moose for food. Thinking laterally, he chops a leg of the moose corpse, and throws it to the wolf in hot pursuit. Luckily for Sven and the dogs, the wolf takes the proffered gift and ceases to chase the sledge.
At the next team meeting, Sven tells his tale, and it is agreed that all salespeople will carry meat with them in future in case of pursuit by wolves.
For three months this strategy works brilliantly, and Sven becomes the toast of the Sales Team.
As dusk is falling one evening, Sven is sledging home once more, and, as had become the custom, the lone wolf began chasing the sledge again. Sven took this with good nature - as if he had a bond with the wolf - almost an old friend. But this time he heard the howls of additional wolves. “Here you go, boy!” he cried as he threw a generous chuck of moose to the wolf. The wolf ignored it, and was joined by a pack chasing the Sven and the sledge with a fervour that Sven had not seen before.
Thinking laterally, Sven cut off more an more portions of moose, until, one by one, the whole pack had ceased to chase the dog-sledge.
“Phew!” thought Sven as he breathed his audible sigh of relief. To his surprise, at the next sales team meeting, he discovered that he was not the only member of the team who had encountered increased numbers of hungry wolves. The team agreed to carry more moose on their journeys, and to throw as much meat to the wolves as was necessary to gain their safe passage back to base camp.
Thankfully, this worked well for another month, and Sven was once again hailed as the hero of the day.
An Inuit village was chosen as the location for the next month’s sales meeting, and as the sales team sledged in from over the Northern Territories, they were met with a hostile wall-to-wall barrier of Inuits blocking their access to the village.
Sven, as leader, asked whether the Inuits were unhappy with the time saving, nutritious products he, and his team, had brought to the Inuits. The Chieftain declared that they were all more than happy with the delicious frozen food.
Bemused, Sven asked, “Then, what is the problem?”
The Chieftain replied, “Until you came here, the wolves used to leave our sledges alone - now we cannot go anywhere without being chased by wolves!”-

Will there be a Line Game where you gain coins helping the friendly jetski operators, and more rousting foreigners on motocycles, but lose points if your character does anything constructive

Oh dear. As the OP I do feel somewhat responsible for this, of course when starting the topic I never envisaged that people might disagree so strongly about this.
Not your fault at all!!! It's a tough topic...
And this is just tilting at cyber windmills

The car idea assumes the OP gets the keys and the car as well. Legal ownership is nothing in Thailand without physical ownership.
The whole "show money" thing sounds like a complete crock to me. However, I have never approached a Thai bank for a loan. Still sounds like a crock though.
There is no shortage of loan companies in Thailand.
We might wonder how all those hundreds of thousands of Finance deals on cars work then
'show money' is either being misunderstood or 'lost in translation' between the two parties, as I said above a dormant amount sitting in (or injected into) the girlfriends account will achieve nothing, it needs to be used as 'earnings' (with a legit story behind it eg tax paying small business) and the 'book walked' as Thais say with several months of 'revolving door' deposits/withdrawals. This is no crock its business as usual for Thai loans.

As security, transfer her car to your name, once 500K is returned in agreed period transfer back to her. If she refuses, obvious you will never see the money again
Huh? Nobody sees the possibility that the car could be totally financed and hence just another debt. Taking ownership won't help when they come to repossess it!
Transferring ownership wont be possible if financed (she wont have the papers)
Stay away from it. She has a car, a condo which is fully paid valued at 3 million Baht plus has 500k in the account. She somehow sits on 4.5 million Baht in assets and she should be able to take a mortgage of the property that she paid already with say 50%.
Again, Thai banks want to see throughput in the account. A dormant half mill and assets dont tick all the boxes. She needs 'earnings'.

Your getting myopic over collateral
Bank wants to see EARNINGS
A loan from you will NOT be an immediate answer as she will have to 'walk the book' a few months with it to massage the bank's willingness
But as a general rule dont lend money for medical reasons....
always causes amnesia

I think reporters who put themselves in the middle of a muslim civil war, should see a shrink asap.
The only thing that should be put in the middle of a muslim civil war is a bountiful supply of ammunition

Amazing Thailand. Responding to the picture i say:
Should one want to have a a beach umbrella and a chair to sit in at the beach one should be able to bring ones own.
If one stays at a hotel/resort nearby one could rent one from there.
I don't see why these chairs and umbrellas need to be a fixture on the beach operated by scammers and squatters.
Regards.
One needs to understand the fiscal 'food chain'
then one would know how the little scamming parasites feed up the ladder the larger scamming parasites and so forth until the lines blur and the largest scamming parasites actually believe that everyone thinks they are bona fide office holders
