I think there's misreportage in play here, after many pints down the pub last night, I was told the waves wouldn't be 2-3 meters but more than 500 meters and hundreds of them too. Yes that's correct and fails to take into account that BKK motorists are generally respectful towrads cyclists and keep their distance (mainly becuase they are afraid of hitting them) Cyclists do not need their own lanes in Bangkok. It's quite safe and Thai motorists are used to slow moving traffic, their driving style is very predictable also. You just need to know what lane to be in and what part of the lane to be in at times, nothing more.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with raising a child in Thailand and nothing to worry about either. It's only avoidance of public schools that many opt for but it's less of an issue than many think.
