I follow sloan's advice and use Avira Antivir. Finally had to take AVG off as it was not downloading the updates any more. so far I like Antivir. clean and non-obtrusive....
Whenever possible I use freeware - when I can't I get it free anyway

Sorry, not trying to hijack this thread, but found a USB soundcard on this page:

and am wondering where the shop is for this website?
Thanks

I suppose there'll be less people there during Songkran. I haven't been to Pantip for years though. I usually go to Zeer or Future Town.
Thanks! Will do what you reccomend. Ugh, Panthip scares me though.Got to Pantip Plaza, on the 3. Floor i9s a shop in the back named STC. They dealing with all kind of special Adon cars such as SCSI, TV-Sound and so on and all CD-Staff as well.Talk to the Owner K. Visan or hims Wife. both very good in english and the service from this company is outstanding. If you mention my name they will even do more for you!

Hi There
Could anyone tell me where I could find an external UB soundcard for my notebook? Specs on my new com are really good except for the low end internal sound card. Creative has a couple decent cards, and they seem to be the most popular choice in Thailand, but on a hunt through Fortune Town today had no luck in locating a USB card. Actually, when questioning most salespeople they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about.
I might have to wait till a trip to Singapore, but if you know another IT center in town (i.e. Zeer, Panthip, Laksi) where you have seen a shop which deals in USB soundcards, I would highly appreciate the information. My internal card is fine for most everything, but I do a lot of digital music production (using Sonar, Reason, Fruity Loops, etc) and the com card just can't handle that kind of punishment.
Cheers!
Tom

that is a good phone!
My wife just had to have the new "video, MP3, photo with flash" model and it has been back at least three times being repaired so she "borrows" my good phone and I get the 3210 which is a model she wouldn't be seen dead with in public![:o](//forum.thaivisa.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
