  1. What you need is an actual electrician, you don’t have one. what you now need is an actual plan. It is quite likely that you can wire a whole house RCBO for little more than the cost of the RCBO It maybe less expensive to run new circuits for devices that you want protected by individual RCBOs. It is most likely that the electrician will not be able to tell you what is needed until he takes a look at the job. It is certainly possible that stripping out the old wiring and doing an actual new wire job could be cheaper that trying to solve the problem. When we were accepting our new house the cost for the builder to eliminate the borrowed neutral was around ฿20,000, if I would be liable for that cost I could well have decided to use a single RCBO and ignore the problem, as it was the builder who did not contract with an electrician I insisted that he fix the problem.

  3. It doesn’t, the difficulty is that those who don’t know all the wonderful ways that faults can do nasty things to you, sometimes terminally bad ones, think that because some circuits can “not kill” you when badly installed sometimes it is an excuse to allow bad practice. Just because you haven’t managed to trip over faulty wiring doesn’t make it safe. There are reasons for wiring codes, many designed to prevent Darwin Awards. Thailand is supremely lucky that the vast majority of EV chargers have been installed with some reasonably competent instructions. This is likely to change and there will be some idiots who will claim that being electrocuted or frying the local youngsters was accidental rather than incompetent criminal cretins.
  4. You do not have to show a KR2/KR22 when registering a return and that was not suggested. Re-reading the post is useful. FWIW you do not have to register a return if you are returning to your usual address
  5. That would seem unlikely given that the 2 are reasonably close in size and that KK is more than double the GFA of Udon according to the numbers (85,000 sq. m. vs 186,000 sq. m.) or do you think that KK central is twice Udon’s? Though the number of No. of Tenants suggest that it is.
