  1. So you've moved from "It's loud but not violent" to "A little bit of violence is OK". ???? You're certainly good value today Chomper.
  2. Actually we've had a couple of bad tackles and 2 red cards. The crowd is hostile and starting to riot, but the stewards have it under control - for now. Unfortunately, we're still in the first 10 minutes.
  3. I can't see the video it's behind a paywall. But assuming they were saying hurty words, a couple of idiots does not define a country.
  4. She can't. She always says things are "out of context" when people who she likes incriminate themselves, or when their mask slips. There was nothing out of context about Biden's comments. They were straight up creepy.
  5. Assaulting emergency workers is not violent? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12611763/Hundreds-protesters-gather-outside-Israeli-embassy-London-light-flairs-chant-Free-free-Palestine.html Racially motivated criminal damage and ABH is not violence? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/london-protests-palestine-israel-hamas-b2426958.html You're wrong again Chomper.
  6. So you now accept it's not peaceful. We have progress. But because it's not as bad in London as it is in Gaza, it's all good? I guess antisemitism in London is fine, as long as it's not as bad as it is in Palestine? I guess it's not surprising you would hold such a view given your adoration of the UK Labour Party. https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/uk-antisemitic-incidents-soar-after-start-conflict-israel-2023-10-10/ "Nothing to see here. Move along please. Count yourself lucky, it's worse in Gaza." Great point Chomper ????.
  7. Nice diversion. Well, a half decent attempt I suppose. Not bad, for you... ???? Back on topic, these protests weren't peaceful, were they? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12611763/Hundreds-protesters-gather-outside-Israeli-embassy-London-light-flairs-chant-Free-free-Palestine.html
  8. I can sympathize to some extent. I went to buy a motorbike last month (several hundred thousand Baht) and previously I could just use my work permit for the purchase. Now I have a digital work permit. It doesn't have my address on there like the old paper one. So now I need to get 2 passport photos, get my condo ownership documents and go to immigration for half a day for a residents certificate. Nah, can't be bothered. I have 7 motorbikes already. The money has been sent back to the UK and I'll spend it on one of my rental properties there. Thailand really doesn't help itself sometimes.
  9. So you don't have any misogynistic quotes to show me? Didn't think so ???? #anotherstrawmanexposed
  10. If it was peaceful, why were arrests made for violence? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12611763/Hundreds-protesters-gather-outside-Israeli-embassy-London-light-flairs-chant-Free-free-Palestine.html Or when you say peaceful, do you mean "largely peaceful" like the BLM riots?
  11. Must have missed that part. Which part was misogynistic? You do realize both men and women swear, take tablets and walk the streets? So where is the misogyny? Maybe your own stereotypes are clouding your thinking?
  12. Yes the profanity she used was not befitting of a Doctor. Very low class language. I can see why it might appeal to your Demographic though...
  13. As long as it's within the law, that's fine. Some of it was, some of it wasn't. Let's see how it pans out over the next few days. So remind me again what I said against free speech? ???? #strawmanexposed
  14. She certainly has a wonderful vocabulary. ???? Perhaps if she spoke more like a Doctor and less like a street walker people might take her more seriously?
  15. Had she expressed her opinion in a calm, educated manner I would have no issue. Instead, we got this... I'm not sure who the Australian cardboard guy is, maybe you could let me know. You could also let me know which part of my post was misogynistic (I won't hold my breath on that part).
  16. As long as it stays peaceful I have no issue with protests. But you already knew that. Of course, recent history suggests it might not stay within the law for too long. https://www.timesofisrael.com/london-cops-arrest-4-over-f-the-jews-rape-their-daughters-video/
  17. Smart, well educated and articulate? ???? More like an expletive filled rant. Maybe smart by your standards, but not by mine ????. Oh, and what did I say that was misogynistic? Oh that's right - nothing ???? #strawman
  18. We all have THAT strange relative who starts ranting nonsense at the family get togethers. She sounds a bit like some of the anti-Trump brigade on here TBH. "Could someone have a look for Mary's tablets please." ????
  19. Where did I say they shouldn't have free speech? Oh that's right, I didn't. ???? #strawman
  20. I guess this is one of the (many) drawbacks of multi-culturalism. You end up importing the world's conflicts onto your own front door step. Simlar things happening in London. Still, keep repeating the mantra "Diversity is our strength" and this will all disappear under the carpet in no time...
  21. Yeah it was quite a nice country until Jacinda Ardern got into power and went on a massive power trip, turning it into something resembling a George Orwell novel. Hopefully, things are about to change for the better, https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/oct/08/tired-broke-and-eager-for-change-new-zealand-expected-to-shift-right-at-coming-election
  22. Absolute nonsense. We are one of the most tolerant, diverse countries in the world. What consequences? It appears Germany is the one with all the issues. https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/german-govt-expects-economy-shrink-04-2023-source-2023-10-06/ England? Brexit was a UK issue. You're just showing your lack of knowledge again. We didn't shoot the economy in the foot. Actually we are doing better than France and Germany. https://news.sky.com/story/gdp-uk-overtakes-france-and-germany-as-economic-growth-bigger-than-expected-after-covid-12972101 With China taking over the world's car production, don't expect the German economy to recover any time soon. Bad news all round for the EU.
  23. It speaks volumes that you would defend him on something as disgusting as this .
  24. I guess this was out of context as well? I guess if the 9 year old was 19 that would have been acceptable in Joe's mind?
  25. "She was 12, I was 30". Pretty straightforward stuff. Keep defending him though. I guess this video is out of context as well? If the expression on the girl's face isn't enough, check the parents... Gross...
