Eleven Conservatives now bidding to be next UK prime minister
JonnyF replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Yeah Kemi is also a good shout. Her support of Brexit and opposition to Woke Ideology and Critical Race Theory are definite positives. It would be a massive step up from previous appointments but I have no reason to doubt she could make that step. It would also be great to see the AntiSemites on the left having a meltdown. "But but but, a black woman leading the Tories, how can that be, I thought they were all racist misogynists?" or "how can this black woman be a Conservative, black people are supposed to vote Labour, doesn't she understand Identity Politics?". ???? -

Oh that's right, she's currently off the front bench. It's hard to keep up, she's on and off that bench with the same regularity that she was on and off Corbyn in the 70's. Back on topic, we're down to 8 now. I'm sure the lefties will be surprised and dismayed to see such a wide range of ethnic backgrounds and an equal split of men and women. All based on merit and without the need for box ticking. Marvellous. If only the Labour party had such wide ranging talent we might have a decent opposition that could hold the government to account instead of petty point scoring and oneupmanship. With Raab and The Moggster out of the running, I'm backing Liz Truss. That would be the 3rd female PM for the Tories. I wonder how many the 'progressive' Labour party have had? Hmmmm. Interesting... -

You're obviously very uncomfortable with anyone mentioning that Dianne Abbott is on the front bench of the Labour Party. I would be too. 2 left shoes, the maths, the Corbyn affair, the drinking on public transport etc. It's all a bit embarrassing isn't it? Unfortunately Rayner, Starmer, Nandy etc. offer no respite. Get used to Tory power for another decade. -

If I was a Labour supporter I wouldn't want her ridiculous level of incompetence being highlighted either. Unfortunately she doesn't know how to stop attracting negative headlines. Obviously the left wing Met Police did nothing about this either... Probably too busy painting rainbows on their faces, or taking the knee to the Marxist BLM. -

Not sure what's so amusing about Patel not running. You must be easily amused ????. The Tories have a wealth of talent. I can think of at least 10 MP's that would make a great PM. Hence so many runners in the race. Labour can't even find one. Hence you're stuck with the serial loser Starmer and his merry bunch of misfits. Who would replace Starmer? Abbott? Rayner? Lammy? Nandy? ???? Even Boris smashed you and got an 80 seat majority. Even as a Conservative voter I'd have to admit that was more about Labour's incompetence than anything out of the ordinary that Boris did. -

Sorry, am I interrupting your comparisons of Patel with the Nazis and the BNP? -

There is nothing racist/fascist about referring to the North London Liberal Elite. Not sure what that has to do with the BNP anyway? Are you trying to create some tenuous link between Patel and the BNP? ???? So you are essentially defending the poster who compared Patel with the Nazi's by drawing your own ridiculous comparison between Patel and the BNP. ???? As a Labour die hard looking so hard for prejudice, may I suggest you stop clutching at straws and refer you to Anti-Semitism within your own party? -

I'm not sure who this far right is that you speak of. However, I've never seen her accused of being a Nazi. That tends to be a lefty insult when they start losing the argument (along with fascist, racist etc.). My criticism of her has always been about her complete ineptitude which is 100% fair and accurate. -

It is indeed ironic that it's often the anti-semitic hard lefties who casually throw around the Nazi insult so much. Bad taste indeed from Team "Be Kind". I believe 'Projection' would be an accurate description of such behaviour. -

That's rich coming from someone who accused me of disliking Carrie Symonds green politics because she's a woman ????. Hypocritical much? I just thought it was interesting that of all the Tories to single out for this vile abuse, they chose a female from an ethnic minority. Very telling, and yet more spite and nastiness from the self proclaimed 'be kind' people. I think I see a pattern here... . -

It's relevant because whoever of the 11 wins the Tory leadership race, the Conservatives will win the next election due to the staggering, embarrassing level of ineptitude on Labour's front bench. -

That's funny, for someone who supports a party starring Rayner and Abbott, one of which is a rough old bint who likes calling people Scum and brags about her lack of ability to speak properly, and the other who thinks 2 + 2 is 1,436,876.34 ????. -

BREAKING NEWS ! Boris Johnson to resign as Prime Minister

Starmer was caught red handed. A politically biased police force decided not to fine him. It's clear as day. The electorate will simply see through this nonsense double standard and vote Conservative again. Sometimes honesty is the best policy, but Starmer would rather weasal out of it. We reap what we sow. Starmer is devoid of morals and hence, devoid of power. -
Health Ministry Reaffirms Stance Discouraging Recreational Cannabis
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's really difficult to differentiate between medicinal use and recreational use. For example, if I smoke a bowl to relax and help me sleep (as I 'may' have done last night) is that medicinal? They need to clarify the laws and then shut up about it IMO. It would have been better if they'd clarified the laws before 'legalizing' it but then we have to remember where we are, and who the 'government' is made up of. -

BREAKING NEWS ! Boris Johnson to resign as Prime Minister
JonnyF replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Indeed. We all know which side of the fence the UK police sit on. The Starmer debacle is just another example of their extreme left wing bias. Whether it's taking a knee to the Marxist BLM, openly supporting lefty Woke causes like LGBT/Pride or publicly supporting Palestine, their lefty bias is as obvious as it is odious. Fining Johnson while ignoring Starmer's same infraction is par for the course. -

Elon Musk says he's terminating $44B Twitter buyout deal
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
Maybe he needs the cash to pay off his baby Momma Amber Heard’s defamation charges to Johnny Depp? Musk is a basket case IMO. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up like Elizabeth Holmes.
