No. The EU isn't huge on Democracy. Not even the President is elected by citizens of the EU. There are many layers between the electorate and the positions of power. A very convoluted process to give the impression of a Democracy while ensuring the people have no say. No citizen voted for Von Der Leyen and they cannot vote to remove her. In fact, despite all it's faults Thailand has a superior version of Democracy than the EU so it is strange that these diplomats would be so critical. At least the Thais know who they are voting for to lead the country. In any case, these diplomats will be ignored by the Thais. They have little interest in making the same mistakes that is leading to the downfall of The West. The East is rising, free of the shackles of Woke ideology and socialist ideals and a few dinosaurs arrogantly pontificating from a fading power won't change that.

Never understood why they don't allow the purchase if a foreign passport is provided. That would help the tourist businesses to continue as normal and not ruin 2 days of peoples holidays. It's not like they have a problem differentiating between Thais and foreigners on other issues. I agree. None of the trips and falls are a big deal in isolation but the sheer number of them is alarming. The Tuono is a lovely bike. I really like the 660 but it's ridiculously priced here. As for small 4 pots in Europe, they haven't released any for years. The ZX-25R was Asia only. I think the ZX-4R will be released there but I'm not sure how well it will do, since lots of people there like the pub/forum bragging rights of a bigger bike. I think the 4R would do very well in the Alps as long as you kept it on the pipe. Torque is a lot of fun, my MT09 wants to lift the front wheel until you get into 4th. But there's something fun about extracting every bit of power out of a smaller engine. I know it's a cliche, but it's true that it's more fun riding a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slow. I sat on the 4R at the motor show and it's surprisingly comfy. Higher bars than most supersports, not quite as high as the Ninja 400 but not far off.

I think DeSantis beats Biden. But I think Biden beats Trump. It's really sad when I look at Biden compared to past presidents. I didn't agree with their politics a lot of the time but they were strong, charismatic leaders. The likes of Reagan, Clinton, Obama. Now we have a guy who can barely string a sentence together, can't remember other leaders names (Rashid Sanook anyone?) and struggles to climb stairs. Unsurprisingly, the demise of the country seems to be mirroring the demise of the quality of leaders.

Indeed, Trump was living rent free in his head, like he does with so many Democrats. As Dems go, I didn't think Lemon was too bad. Many of his 'misogynistic' comments were simply telling the truth. Such as more people being interested in men's sport because it's generally of a higher standard than women's sport. I guess that's why CNN fired him. Not that I've noticed, attacks on tourists have always been a staple of the Thai tourism trade. The difference (as I see it) seems to be that with the influx of tourists from the Middle East, China and Russia/Eastern Europe, the violence appears to now be in both directions.

Whatever you think of his politics, he is brilliant at what he does and is sure to be in huge demand.
