Sturgeon was just irritating Trump to gain lefty points with her Woke mates.
She did the same with Johnson.
She was an incredibly irritating, divisive, virtue signaller. Brought down by her own extremist views. Good riddance indeed. A great few weeks with Arden also tapping out.

I'd agree with Trump on this one. She was indeed a Woke extremist. Her latest gaffe to try and allow male rapists into female prisons because they change their identity after being caught was the final straw.
Good riddance to her and her divisive politics.
Great news for the UK.

Deputies say Kable was “in the roadway” when he was hit by the BMW, but it’s not clear if he was “standing or walking in the roadway when he was hit.” Kable was home for holiday break when he was killed, according to court documents.
I wonder if he was using a Zebra crossing and didn't know what Thais in BMW's think of pedestrians?

Non EU immigration was a central issue in the Leave campaign.
Was it? Why would you say that?

I see Sturgeon has resigned
. More great news for the UK, another divisive voice has failed.
This will certainly lead to far less noise regarding the UK rejoining the EU. Less noise about Brexit breaking up the UK etc.
What a great few weeks. Ardern gone. Sturgeon gone. Hopefully Macron will be the next ultra authoritarian #bekind leftist to go. Sturgeon ultimately brought down by her extremist left wing views about male rapists being put into female prisons because they've changed their "identity". What a way to go. Perfect. Delicious in fact.

Stick with whatever assertion you want. The evidence doesn't lie.
Disclaimer ; I only saw the incident above on Twitter. I was not personally in attendance at the event since it was 14,000 kms away and I'm not a massive fan of drag shows. Hope that clarifies things for those who don't know the difference between seeing something and attending something. ????

I read your post as having "seen" all these drag shows in person. Maybe it was the extra detail you added. Fool me once.
What you imagined I wrote is irrelevant ????

I'm not the one that said 'However, I've seen a lot of these drag shows where they all get a bit too excited with the flamboyance of it all and the bloke ends up dressed in a small thong, twerking in front of kids faces etc.'
A more accurate statement would have been 'I've not actually seen them in person, so I'm basing all my views on this video from a Tucker Carlson founded right wing 'news' organisation that shows where they all get a bit too excited with the flamboyance of it all and the bloke ends up dressed in a small thong, twerking in front of kids faces etc.
Even though it doesn't.
It appears you don't know the difference between seeing something, and attending something. I've tried to explain the difference to you with multiple examples but maybe it's just too complicated for you to understand? The fact you keep embarrassing yourself by showing you don't know the difference indicates you have nothing to add to the debate. I will try for a final time.
See.
Attend.
I already posted links to the clips. Perhaps you don't know how to watch them?

Cherry picking one or two scenarios doth not make a convincing argument.
I personally see no issue with this but if YOU think it's highly offensive then may I recommend YOU don't book a drag queen for your kids.
Isn't this the parental choice all you conservatives scream about?
You called BS, I proved you wrong. Simple as...
Like I said, if you like seeing men dressed as women performing sexualized dance routines to kids, then go buy a ticket. It's not for me.

So you've seen them but not in person?
Glad to see you've finally got it. Well done.
2 minutes ago, johnnybangkok said:You sound like an expert to me.
I can't really say I'm an expert on drag routines, not really my bag - I prefer watching women dance. I've seen enough to know that I don't like to see men dressed as women performing sexualized dance routines in front of young children. But if you like that kind of thing, go for it. Make sure you attend in person though, otherwise you're not allowed an opinion on it. ????

Here "However, I've seen a lot of these drag shows where they all get a bit too excited with the flamboyance of it all and the bloke ends up dressed in a small thong, twerking in front of kids faces etc.'
You may not be aware, but there's this modern invention called Television. Even more modern, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook etc.
It allows you to see things without actually being in attendance. A wonderful invention. You should check it out.????

Yes I've seen them.
I've also seen The Moon. Never been there though. ????

I'm calling BS on this.
I have been to many, many drag shows (a good friend was a drag queen) and never once have I ever seen a child present never mind drag queens 'twerking' in their faces. Most drag shows are late night events held in pubs and clubs (I'm talking the UK here) where patrons need to be at least 18 years old even to get in.Now of course I haven't been to one in the States so perhaps there's all these drag shows going on in front of 10 year olds, but I very much doubt it. I suspect (just call me Sherlock) that this is just another non-issue from an increasingly irrelevant GOP to yet again stir up 'the base' with made-up scenarios that don't even happen. What they do though is create headlines that are eagerly jumped on by individuals (like yourself) who will try and defend this lunacy because (yet again) it's against the 'extreme' left and/or 'woke brigade'.
This is classic identity politics that doesn't add to the narrative but has the desired effect on an increasingly rabid GOP base that should be much more focused on actual politics rather than this frankly absurd distraction.

Yeah, I get that you can't attend every drag show, but can you share how many you've attended, where these were, and why you attended so many. And how mnay children were in attendance?
I do respect your right to attend drag shows.
Where did I say I attended them?

It’s pushed into the limelight by the rightwing in their search for culture war battles.
Or did you miss that bit?
Every time someone objects to extreme left wing ideology being rammed down the throats of normal, moderate people you label it as the "right wing" inventing a culture war.
Totally disingenuous.

I didn’t say the racist memes employed in the Leave posters and by the Leave campaign made anyone a racist.
Excellent.
Maybe we could get back on topic now, it's much more interesting than throwing inane, completely unsubstantiated insults around as others on this thread have lowered themselves to.

The imagery widely used by the Leave campaign was not one of ‘Caucasion’ immigrants.
False equivalence.
One poster by the Leave campaign doesn't make everyone who dislikes the corrupt, federalist, technocratic nature of the EU, a racist.
It's just a word people throw around when they've run out of intelligent points to make during a debate. It's basically the same as saying "I've lost the argument therefore I will insult you". Like losing a game of tennis and then screaming "you're smelly" across the net at your opponent ????. Childish in the extreme.

Funny how the left are suddenly so against cancel culture when it involves cancelling men dressed as women parading in front of children. ???? Suddenly they want government to stay out of people's lives. It seems there is no end to their hypocrisy.
Now, ignoring their (predictable) double standards for a second, as long as the show is done tastefully and respectfully I don't have a massive issue with it. Pantomine, Thai comedy sketches complete with BOING noises etc. However, I've seen a lot of these drag shows where they all get a bit too excited with the flamboyance of it all and the bloke ends up dressed in a small thong, twerking in front of kids faces etc. I saw one where he took off his shirt to reveal his massive silicon implants, all with kids present. This is the type of thing I believe the law is trying to stop, and rightly so.

Another racist cliche is calling legal immigrants "illegal" - and this was a big factor that appealed to racism amongst Brexiteers.
not all Brexiteers are racists - but all racists re Brexiteers - the rest are just easily led.
Many immigrants, both legal and illegal were Caucasian.
So how exactly, is that racist? Are you implying it was the Black and Asian Brits who were objecting to the white immigrants on the basis of race?
You need a new schtick. Maybe you could read up on some of the issues that are relevant to the thread and then you can join in the conversation with some intelligent points? Because accusing everyone who disagrees with you about the EU of being racist isn't really working out too well for you...

As ever a Brexiteer gets it wrong - I was replying to a post.... Race played a strong part in Brexit - racists used immigration and lies about who could and couldn't join the EU specifically to play one people's racist misbeliefs.
Racists always use the same cliches instead of arguments - like "play the race card" as i=f that has any relevance to the discussion - they just can't stand to be exposed as racist..
You seem to be confused between legal immigration, illegal immigration and racism.
This thread is about the relationship between the EU and the UK going forward.
Stop using strawman arguments and race baiting in an attempt to drag the conversation into the gutter just because you have nothing of value to add to the topic.

I'd guess she'll be too busy trying to explain the 600k that has gone missing from the SNP accounts (the same SNP that her husband is chief executive of).
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11755889/Nicola-Sturgeon-dodges-question-missing-600-000-campaigning-funds.html
With a record like that, maybe she could replace Eva Kaili as (one of!!!) the vice presidents of the EU?
