I have no problem with legal migration as long as the numbers and quality/skills of those who come to the UK are strictly controlled. A points based system based on the skills shortage currently experienced in the country, like Australia used to have. If we need 5000 Doctors, we allow 5000 doctors in the next fiscal year. And so on... That style of immigration can benefit a country. But it's a million miles from what we have now.
