Midair Collision Near Reagan National Sends Plane into Potomac River
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Certainly seems like human error. My guess is he/she/they/them were looking at the wrong plane, thought were at a safe distance and crashed into the other one. But let's wait and see. Hopefully the crew were hired based on their ability to do the job and not to fill some stupid quota. Trump appears to have information that suggests the latter. RIP the victims. -

No he doesn't know all the facts, but he will know a lot more than the deranged ranters on here. Just like Starmer knew a lot about Southport. The difference is that Trump comes out and says it instead of trying to hide it from the public. I for one, appreciated his update. He's doing a great job. Probably the best job of any President. -
Expats in Thailand and Muslim immigrants to the UK is indeed a ridiculous comparison. They are polar opposites. Those who draw the comparison know it is ridiculous and are best ignored. 😆

Great news. Many black people also oppose black history month, just a many gay people oppose Pride. Trump getting it right again. He's on a roll.

Midair Collision Near Reagan National Sends Plane into Potomac River

Seems Trump has more information than the experts on here. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that discriminatory DEI hiring practices led to someone getting a job they were not qualified for, but let's wait and see. DEI - Discriminatory Erroneous Idiots. -
They do not want to integrate. They set up little pockets, create Sharia courts, do not mix with indigenous people. That's why the experiment has failed. At a massive cost to Britain. Diversity is our greatest weakness.

Nigel Farage and King Charles Share a Laugh Despite Past Disagreements

Best they get acquainted before the next election. They will be working closely when Farage is PM. -
Labour’s Stance on Defence Spending: Ideology Over National Security
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Makes sense. Why would Labour spend money to defend a country they hate? They could send the money abroad in overseas aid instead. -
Just an valid observation Chomps, don't get your knickers in a twist. 😆 When women in their mid 60's dress like street walkers and talk absolute nonsense, people are going to comment on it. I actually love intelligent articulate women. JK Rowling is one. Karoline Leavitt is another. Leavitt is also super hot. No need for the "mutton dressed as lamb" look that Madonna favours.

Tucker Carlson Alleges Biden Administration Plotted to ‘Kill Putin’
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I do hope this isn't true. He'd probably have ordered the hit on Zelenskiy by mistake. 😆 https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/jul/11/biden-calls-ukraine-zelenskiy-president-putin-nato -
Nobody cares what these Woke celebrity idiots think. If they did, Kamala's strategy of hiring them to attend her rallies would have worked. Madonna should stick to the glamorous grannies competition. She could probably get top 50 if she stopped dressing like a hooker.

UK Population Set to Surge to 72.5 Million by 2032, Driven by Migration
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Not the professions I would have chosen as examples. 😆 But in any case, undercut would be more accurate than outcompeted. Supply and demand. When supply of labour is plentiful, salaries tend to reduce. That's why big business supports mass immigration, it reduces their labour costs. Great for large corporations. Not so good for the average working man who might find himself replaced by someone prepared to work for a pittance. Still, the average working man is hardly of concern for the "modern" Labour party, it's not 1970. -

The Brits can still retire to EU countries, they just need a visa now. Easy to get. Just like all of us expats need a visa in Thailand. Didn't stop us, did it? Some people just want to blame Brexit for everything. The whole point of Brexit is that we can now hold our own government responsible for the running of the country, including the mismanagement of immigration. Something the Tories found out and something that Labour will find out at the next election when Reform are elected. https://www.skynews.com.au/opinion/paul-murray/pretty-remarkable-reform-uk-tops-national-poll-for-the-first-time/video/6aeb2b142c078cbf12b3ac3588d5582f -

I have no problem with legal migration as long as the numbers and quality/skills of those who come to the UK are strictly controlled. A points based system based on the skills shortage currently experienced in the country, like Australia used to have. If we need 5000 Doctors, we allow 5000 doctors in the next fiscal year. And so on... That style of immigration can benefit a country. But it's a million miles from what we have now. -

Yeah Michelle Obama is one of the worst race baiters I can remember. The multi millionaire still plays the victim after spending years as first lady and married to the twice democratically elected black US President. America is really "keeping her down" 😆 . -

Or more recently the leftist nutter Bishop Mariann Budde preaching to Trump at the inauguration service. https://www.forbes.com/sites/siladityaray/2025/01/22/what-did-the-bishop-say-to-trump-during-prayer-service-heres-the-full-transcript/ Good to know her heart is in the right place. They may be illegal, but more importantly she needs her dishes cleaned after a hearty meal celebrating her "incredible bravery" with everyone who agreed with her on The View. 😄 -

European migrants have just as much (in most cases more) rights and opportunity to come as those from the third world. We don't need them. We have almost 1.5 million unemployed already. We dont need to add to that figure, either via Rachel from accounts budget for recession or uncontrolled immigration of unskilled workers from the third world.
