Most of which is at least partly due to excessive immigration. Salaries are driven down due to an over supply of cheap labour. Housing/Rental prices are driven up by a lack of available housing due to more people needing them. Higher taxes to pay for the additional strain on the NHS, schools, public services etc. There really is little to no benefit of mass immigration to the average working Britain. Plenty of downsides, but pretty much no upside.

Given that developed countries have much higher energy use per capita than undeveloped countries, perhaps we could send the millions of illegal immigrants in developed countries back to the largely undeveloped countries that they came from? We could also reduce future immigration quotas in the more developed countries? That would reduce energy use globally. Win Win.

Massive taxation and the introduction of new "green" technologies like EV's and heatpumps that will be forced upon us so they can sell us more stuff with whatever money we have left. Plus quite possibly heavy restrictions on personal freedoms (that no doubt can be avoided with "green donations" to allow the elites to stay in their 16 bathroom mansions, private jets and Range Rovers). It's a massive grift. They get to take more of our money while pretending to quite literally save the world. 😄 The irony is that it tends to be stupid and (relatively) poor people who believe/support it. Agree. The last year has been horrific for their credibility. Pretending Joe was "sharp as a tack". Then kicking him out because he wasn't. Then choosing DEI Harris. Getting smashed at the election. Then Biden pardoning his crime family after promising not to on the day he left. It will be a long time before they are trusted again.
