The reason the villagers of Scampton (or Middle Britain as you dishonestly refer to them) objected was because they (like the rest of Britain) didn't want the asylum seekers in THEIR village. Not because they are pro immigration. Nobody wants them. It's like a hot potato and Labour don't know who to pass it to next.

The UK had human rights laws before it joined the ECHR and would have them after we left. Your notion that there would be zero human rights in the UK after leaving is just a scare tactic and once again deeply disingenuous. Leaving the ECHR is the right thing to do for Britain.
