  1. I strongly suspect you're not sure of many things. Well, I'm clearly dealing with an expert here.😃 Quite the insight. Did you come up with that yourself?
  2. I lived in London for 3 years. Saw plenty of crime first hand including a stabbing. So I know a little bit about it. It was much safer back then though... There are safe parts and dangerous parts. Like I said, the Libs tend to live in the safe parts and pontificate about their virtue. They wouldn't be seen dead (or maybe they would!) in the crime hotspots like Southwark where knife crime is rampant. They're safely tucked away in their trendy postcode. Of course, once you average all the boroughs out the stats look OK, but you know stats can be manipulated to prove almost anything. London is a dangerous place, but I guess you don't go further than your chum's champagne tasting party in Islington...
  3. OK. https://www.wsj.com/articles/climate-activists-disasters-fire-storms-deaths-change-cop26-glasgow-global-warming-11635973538 Feel free to stock up on life vests though...
  4. Sounds like it's going the way of London i.e. rampant crime with a smattering of Progressives avoiding it all as they brag about their post codes from their ivory towers, safely tucked away from the reality that their flawed ideology has created.
  5. Even if he wasn't a politician, he was a well known divisive figure. It would be like buying "Markle Towers" or "Rogan Towers" in 2024. If you don't like the name or the person, don't buy. Don't use it as proof of your Woke, Progressive credentials 10 years later... Maybe people like the name and bought it because of that? Why should they be punished? Reminds me of people moving into a house next to a pub, then trying to shut it down because you don't like the noise at closing time.
  6. Judging by recent polls it might increase the price. If not, they should be happy they picked up a bargain. This New Rochelle area sounds like Islington. Middle class lefties virtue signalling. "Ooohh I hate Trump more than you. No, I hate him much more than you, look I am even renaming my building". Pretty pathetic stuff... Childish.
  7. A bunch of lefties trying to prove how "right on" they are to one another. 😃 They shouldn't have bought/rented units there if the name was such a big deal to them. Or is the publicity and virtue signalling on offer simply too much for these attention seeking champagne socialists to ignore?
  8. Totally agree. I just got my LTR visa, so I'll go back once more for my Mother's 80th later in the year and I think that might be my last time there. London especially, is a toilet of epic proportions, ruined by Sadiq Khan. In terms of headcount, I'm sure I'll be replaced by someone arriving in a Dinghy. So Thailand will get my money and the rest of my career, and the UK will get an unknown entity with an unknown criminal record and unknown suitability for employment. That's the benefit of managing immigration properly vs. pandering to idiotic Woke ideology. The UK is done. Viva Thailand. I'm just grateful that most of my time there was in the 70's, 80's and 90's. After that, the rot started.
  9. Well done that man. It's incredibly important to bring attention to Sadiq Khan's biased, pro-palestine Met police and their discriminatory practices against Jewish people. Anti-semitism must be stopped in it's tracks, lest history repeat itself.
  10. Indeed it was appalling. But what do you expect when the Met police has a culture of anti-semitism under Sadiq Khan? The fish rots from the head. Roll on the mayoral elections although unfortunately many Londoners now share his distasteful opinions so it might actually work for him.
  11. Of course not. That would be ridiculous. Immigration should be tightly controlled so that the people who come and a) not extremists b) have a skill that that country needs and c) have a willingness to integrate. The level should also be limited so that the existing culture is not eroded.
  12. Far left poster supports The Met's pro palestine/anti-Jew stance. What a shocker.
  13. You certainly share their "belief system" if we can politely refer to it as such. Plenty of evidence has been provided. The police themselves have even apologised.
  14. It is, of course no surprise that you are a cheerleader for the Met police. Everyone loves a police force that shares their belief system.
  15. When you import conflicts from around the world into western suburbs this is the result. Sydney, London, Paris. All recent examples. Fortunately diversity is their greatest strength . Homogenous societies must really be wondering where they went wrong. 😂 I bet the likes of Japan are rushing through legislation to get more of this type of thing into Japanese cities...
  16. As I said before, being Jewish in London is a precarious situation. Even the Met police will move you on if you refuse to hide your "Jewishness". That's if they are not too busy chanting pro Palestine songs. How long before we have legislation criminalizing being ooenly Jewish in a public place? Anti semitism is making quite the comeback. Expect it to get worse under a Labour government. The only hope is for Khan to be ousted as Mayor.
  17. Violence rarely stops in the middle east. If the Gaza war ends, something else will spark up soon enough. Even when they move elsewhere they often take their violence with them.
  18. How dare a peaceful minority take a stand against the intolerant mob. The police defended their and their bosses pro Palestine position. Get that pesky Jew our of here. I hope they didnt take him somewhere for well, you know...
  19. Especially if the 3 sheriffs are actually Indians in a sherrifs outfit.
  20. Always have to have the last word 😄 Classic behaviour for the demographic...
  21. You are defending the met police's pro Palestine policing. Because you are also pro Palestine. It's not complicated. I'd say what I mean but I wouldn't be posting for a while. Don't call for censorship of speech and then complain when it stops people saying exactly what they think.
  22. Oh I see. You only want links to back up statements presented as fact when they are not inconvenient truths. It's not one bad apple. It's one example of many. The way police handle pro Palestine marches is ridiculous. They even came up with a new definition of Jihad to justify allowing crowds to scream for it. I really wonder why you defend it. Do you just enjoy defending the indefensible or are your feelings against, let's call them Israelis or Zionists, that strong?
  23. All politicians lie. Maybe check out the recent Biden thread. When I listen to a politician lie I might laugh. I might be annoyed. I do not set myself on fire. This guy clearly had serious mental health issues. Trying to blame Trump is weak as...
