just watched the video and very interesting .... he leans toward the french press for taste especially with the medium ground coffee which I would probably use. I think I am going to buy the french press over the drip machine for 2 points. 1. preparation and cleaning is simple and easy. 2. taste is not compromised with the french press with medium ground coffee.

You make a good point .... if I have 3-4 cups of coffee from 6-9am .... the french press wouldn't suit as you say it's cold after the first cup, whereas this machine will keep it hot and I just pour as needed .... cleaning is easy,

yeah same here .... Just a Zinger burger and the refill drink, sometimes you get a big burger with huge fresh lettuce leaf and other times it can be not so good. It's abit hit & miss I think.

That's the part I like also .... the coffee machine I have made excellent tasting Latte for a while but it was the messing around to make it and the clean up after ... hence I went to instant. I'll look at what you mentioned. Thanks ...

That's interesting, because a friend is getting a metal cooking hood exhaust fan put in for the gas cooktop .... I just don't really like gas here, it looks dangerous, anyone hooks up the hoses and having gas bottles in the kitchen makes me cringe. I may try to convince him to use induction cookers and throw the gas out ... do induction heaters deliver the same heat as a gas top .... I mean will a Wok with oil get hot enough the same as using the gas for deep fry and stir fry ? And I guess the big question is the power bill ...

do induction cook tops require special pots & pans, can the ordinary stainless pot be used on an induction stove ?

what about the cost of electricity ? how many watts does it use .... remember, gas is relatively cheaper than electricity and faster in heating up.

yes, you may well be correct .... prices have gone up as I built 2 in 2019,2020 ... so it could very well be another 30-50%

600k would get you bathroom tiled, shower, wash sink & mirror, standard toilet. That would also include electrical wiring, CB box, standard light fittings and switches. It would only get you a standard kitchen block bench with sink and plumbing installed, no kitchen cabinets etc .... no insulation. Doors and windows would be standard with hardware.

I hear ya ... but it depends on one's budget also, sure everyone wants a nice big fancy house, but sometimes we have to make sacrifices. Just saying .... anyway, 600,000 baht will get you something like this ..... and with a few palm trees around it and a garden it can look ok ... imo
